  We are very pleased with the recent work that we had done with A1 Painting and Carpentry. I sent an inquiry through their website on a Sunday afternoon, for an estimate on an exterior painting project, and the next morning Eric was in contact with us. He was able to give us an estimate within a few days. Eric maintained excellent communication throughout the project. Victor, who was the crew lead for our project, also spoke with us numerous times while he was here, to make sure that the attention to detail we wanted was achieved. I will not hesitate to use A1 Painting and Carpentry for any future projects. Thanks!

  Tail End Fencing & Maintenance

  ---Update 11/07/2019----- Jason was supposed to come on October 27 to fix the gates. He got in touch that day to ask me for measurements which I reminded him he already had. He then asked if I would split the cost of the materials with him. I said no because I didn���t break it to begin with, his partner did. Then he said he would come and fix the gates when weather permitted and if I pulled my review. I said it would be pulled when the issue was resolved, he then told me he would fix it when it was removed and to make the review disappear. I haven���t heard from him since and it is going to be 70 degrees this weekend so I reached out again today, 11/7/19, to ask when he would come and haven���t gotten a reply. As far as the 3rd side of the gate, my neighbor on that side wasn���t impressed with Jason���s work and told Jason he would do it himself. Jason then told me he would still honor his price for the 2 sides so I didn���t screw him on any level. My neighbor had the 3rd side of the fence up using better quality and larger pickets in less than 24 hours. He started on Friday afternoon and was finished by noon on Saturday. He charged me the same amount Jason had quoted us and no more. Jason took nearly a month to finish 2 sides of the yard and that along with not digging the posts deep enough were my neighbors chief complaints.

  It went great! Jacob and Joey came in and were detail oriented. They accommodated our needs to get the job done as quick as they could. -They also painted the exterior of my ���across the street��� neighbor. I see their work everyday I walk out of our home, and it also looks great!

  Help Around the House

  Doug came out and looked over the property. He gave us a bid that did not include electrical because his electrician was out of town. The majority of the work I needed was electrical. His prices were so high on everything. He told me he had to bring in contractors to bid on it, so he asked to put a lock box on the door for his contractors to come in and bid. Clearly he is bidding out all of this work and just marking up the entire bid. These prices he gave me were so high, I was surprised. And it didn't even include the electrical, which is the majority of the work. He called me a few days after we received his bid to ask if we received it. I told him I thought he was too high on everything. He then proceeded to lecture me and tell me he was going to quit bidding on places that were rentals or to landlords. Funny thing is, this house is not a rental. And I told him that. If you want to use this guy, I would get several other bids and compare because this was way over what other bids are that I received.

  Excellent company to work with from initial quote through completion of the project. The crew that did the actual painting was fantastic. They arrived as scheduled, worked extremely hard and efficiently and the quality of the work was great. There was a question regarding the work and the sales rep (thanks Cameron!) immediately responded and ensured everything was done as agreed. Great follow up by Cameron after the completion of the project to ensure everything met expectations. I would absolutely recommend Peak Pro.

  Koalaty Siding Repair

  I signed a contract with Koalaty to replace part of my siding that was damaged in a hail storm. I met with someone named Dave on October 11. He gave me a quote, and I signed a contract and put down a deposit. Our house was going on the market soon, which I let him know. I was told he would e-mail me a copy of what I signed. He did not. I heard nothing from Koalaty, so I contacted them through their website on 10/23. I heard back from the owner right away and said it usually takes 2 weeks to get me in the system and then it would be 4-8 weeks, but since we were selling the house, he would try to work it out to get it done quicker. On 10/26 I met with Corey W. and signed another contract, but my initial deposit was honored. I again heard nothing from Koalaty for a while. I called them to let them know that my house was closing on Dec 21. At that point, they let me know that they were not sure that they could get it done on time, but that they would keep me posted. I talked to a woman named Erin most often, I would have a conversation with her, and then a few hours later, I would get a voicemail from her which made it seem that she had no recollection of talking to me. I finally talked to Daren on December 10. He told me that they would be able to complete the work December 17,18, or 19. I called Daren again on December 17, and at that time, he was no longer sure they could complete the work that week. Someone named Star called me and let me know that they wouldn't get the supplies in on time. At that point, I was done and asked for a refund of my deposit. I now need to find someone else who can complete my project in a very short amount of time. They had over two months from the initial contract to get things done, did not keep me informed of where they were in the process, and apparently did not order the materials until the last minute. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

  Craig did an excellent job on replacing some damaged trim on the exterior of our home and repainting that section of the house. He was very reasonable in price, very conscientious, and was easy to work with.

  The project surpassed all my expectations. I will not lie. There were speed bumps in the project just like any home project. They were all very minor and the most important part is that Koalaty was responsive in fixing everything. They were very easy to get a hold of too. Could not be happier with the work performed.
