  • While I will not say that this diet or losing weight was easy, I did get the weight off when other diets were not successful. It is not cheap and you should be aware the initial cost is just the beginning. Also, the 'Average Weight Loss' of 3 pounds per week is pretty optimistic - just expect half this and keep at it.

  • It was almost done a daily basis. They are open 24 hours. I have used their trainers before are expensive and help you. It was very effective. The girl that they put me with was very knowledgeable and went body pretty well. He had a background of the side of lifting and there were some knowledge of help.

  • It's clean. It has good equipment. The equipment is available and easily accessible. There's not long waiting time. All the fitness professionals are very helpful even they're not having their personal training sessions. Everyone is very helpful and available to see you how to use the equipment or giving advice. They're very, very accommodating people so I really like them. It's very accessible to my house which is lucky for me. I'd give an A for everything.

  • The free trail went awesome. The front desk staff was very efficient and helpful I enjoyed the machines the club had to work out on as I am no a weights kind of guy. I was also able to enjoy the hot tub. They also have a yoga studio and indoor basketball court. Even the locker room was big with plenty of space. I recommend Raintree for a fitness club.

  • The salesgirl could not find any information on the item I had left. She said she would call one of the other workers and get back to me. She called me later that day to say they'd located the information, the item had sold, and I had store credit. I really felt taken care of!

  • The place is convenient and close to where I live. They have good hours. They have friendly staff. The classes are all included in the price and we enjoy that. They have a lot of extra well maintained equipment. They also have a pool. It is a nice club. The maintenance are always wiping the equipment and checking the floors.

  • They have a wide variety of personal trainers. It's relatively easy to get in with a personal trainer. Their prices for personal trainer, especially if you are a member, I think are really great. The facility itself is very clean, it's newly renovated within the last couple of years, very open. Staff is always friendly. There is a huge selection of fitness classes, from free with membership to a slight fee, if you are a member, it just depends on the class. They offer child care, which is great. They have a pool, track, tons of cardio and weight equipment. Their their price is good for what they have.

  • Facilities are decent. I've never had a problem getting on a treadmill or swimming laps, but some of the weight stations are unavailable during lunch/dinner time. Expect pressure from the staff for personal training.

  • I think more emphasis is put on the pool than on the fitness equipment. The weight training equipment and cardio machines are adequate but they are certainly not "state of the art." I have not taken any classes so I cannot evaluate those.

  • The club has deteriorated badly since we first joined. Much of the electronic cardio equipment (treadmills and stationary bicycles , especially) are not working or are only partially working. The bicycles tension varies dramatically bike to bike. Thus, the cardio equipment are on their last leg and sorely in need of replacement. There is no plan for repairs, I have talked to them, I have e-mailed 2 different managers (they change managers frequently), to no avail. The TV's on the cardio equipment do not work and those that do only get a few channels like Fox News (boo hiss). Closed captioning does not work on them, either except for Fox News.
Weight equipment can remain unrepaired for several weeks. The hot tub is very often not working and has whimpy jet action when it does work. The machines on the floor are rarely cleaned, and the individual lockers are never cleaned, best I can tell. It is pretty disgusting from a health and cleanliness perspective.
The music is turned on so loud with so much bass you can't hear your music on your I-pod over their music without going deaf.
You can't find room on the floor to stretch because of the all the personal trainers and their customers. The lighting is very low so that when it is cloudy, the main room is very dark.
We not only do not recommend 24 Hour Fitness, we STRONGLY recommend against. Run, don't walk away from this club and look for another place. The rates are pretty good, but clearly not enough to support maintainence of the club and its equipment, and the revolving door management presence clearly works against them. It is really a shame, it was a nice club when it first opened, but it has gone so far downhill, I don't think they can recover. They have lost many members who I have talked to.
We plan on cancelling our membership and looking elsewhere.
