Appliance Repair reviews in Fort Collins

  • Scheduling was easy, gave exact time (not a time window). Technician on time, polite, friendly. He had my replacement part on his truck so was fixed in one appointment. Price was less than I expected.

  • I had two instances when the warranty proved worthless. The first was a freeze protected hose bib that was damaged because the water hadn't completely drained when the hose was removed. Even though the freeze problem occurred inside the house framing AHS said it was not covered because it was exterior to the house. The second problem involved a dishwasher which generated a code that said there was a leak. They sent a repair person who called 15 minutes before the scheduled repair appointment and said they were running about an hour late. He finally showed up nearly three hours later. He fiddled for more than an hour and called his advisor several times to help with diagnostics. He would not pull the dishwasher completely out from under the counter top because it was connected by copper tubing (3/8"). Supposedly, there company policy is not to service this type of installation. By that it means they can not properly determine the problem because they can not see behind the dishwasher so no repair was performed. He did move the dishwasher out from under the granite counter top and in that process broke one of the brackets securing the DW to the kitchen cabinet and bent the one on the opposite side so bad it can't be used. He did not remove the screws that attached the DW to the cabinets. The brackets were part of the dishwasher frame so there was no way to repair the problem the repair person caused I had to come up with my own solution to keep the dishwasher from tilting forward out of the kitchen cabinets when loading the dishwasher.

  • Jacob was on time and he was very professional. He located the problem quickly, found a replacement burner in Fort Collins and the repairs were made in short order. I will use Sears service again when I need help.

  • Very well. The part that needed repair was on the outside blower. It took a couple of days for the needed parts to come in, but very timely once they did. Cost included diagnosis, two trips, parts and labor. We also had a washer that wasn't spinning and draining and Jeff checked it out thoroughly, figured it was the circuit board and too old to replace. He did not charge for the time and energy he spent on that.

  • We have used them before. They came out once to diagnose it. We decided to get it fixed rather than buying a new one. He charged us $100 to come out and look at it, and then it was $188 to do the repair. I wish it would've been a little cheaper. They did a fine job. When you call them, they call you right back. They were totally on schedule. Their professionalism was fine. I would use them again because we have a history with them and have been satisfied with the work that they have done, even though they are not the cheapest option. We were not able to do dishes consistently. I was able to get an appointment within a couple of days. The technician diagnosed the problem very quickly. He had to pull the dishwasher out of the counter to figure it out. After we spent some time whether to replace or repair the unit, we decided to bring him back to repair it. There was no fuss or bother.

  • Nathanial was very helpful and understanding in working with us and our tenants. As property owners living 2 hours from Fort Collins, it is nice to know we can call someone and get a fair price and quality work.

  • It went well and quickly. The only problem with Mr. Appliance(IMO) is that their service call price was steep($90). The technician was right on time, professional and diagnosed the problem/fix quickly.

  • I had one service call with Appliance Artisan.  They were here in February of 2017.  It was $253.  The price was high but it was just like everybody else charges.  They came when they said they were going to come.  They were on time.

  • Absolutely great! Service was efficient, cost effective and incredibly friendly. Jeff is incredibly knowledgable re appliance functioning, potential issues and in finding solutions. It is wonderful to find people who are great at what they do and enjoy their work. You will not regret using Appliance Artisan!

  • Jeff spent hours diagnosing the problem and determined it was a bad motor. He returned the following morning to replace the motor and ended up replacing a few other components while inside (at no additional cost). It was a tough job to remove the motor and in the course of removing it, unfortunately the fan housing (plastic) was destroyed in the process. A true professional, Jeff immediately left to obtain the unplanned part and did not charge us for it. He worked to get everything reinstalled, tested the dryer to ensure it was fixed, and the cost was exactly what he had quoted the day before. I'd estimate that he spent a good 8 hours between the 2 days (Friday and SATURDAY) and the cost was steal considering the labor required. Fast response - we called at 4pm on Thursday and he was able to fit us in on Friday afternoon then completed the job on Saturday morning. I can't say enough great things about Jeff, we'll definitely call him for any appliance repairs in the future :)
