    CAMPING WORLD
    On Saturday, August 30th we went to purchase a fifth wheel toy hauler that was advertised at a special price. The salesperson we worked with was JT. A few things were missing on the RV, but we were told the parts had been ordered and would be in any day. My husband and JT worked out the deal which included us trading in our trailer and the amount we would get for it. We mentioned more than once that we were going camping in two weeks and that didn't seem to be an issue. We went to finance and things started to go wrong. As the finance person went over the figures with us, they were not what JT had told my husband. It took 30 to 45 minutes for it to get worked out. The finance person told my husband this was not the first time this has happened with JT. JT had basically lied to us about the deal he was giving us, trying to sneak something different through in the financing. That was a fiasco, but we moved on. Our walk through was scheduled for Monday, September 8th at 2pm. That would give us plenty of time as we were going camping that Friday. On Thursday, September 4th, Joe Lake called and told my husband that the parts weren't in and that they wanted to move our walk through to Thursday, September 11, the day before we were to go camping. This really made us nervous. I proceeded though to spend my whole Saturday cleaning out our trailer so we could take it in as the trade in. On Monday, September 8th we went in to check on how things were going. We wanted to know if they had tracking numbers on the parts, knew when they were coming for sure, etc. We waited forever as they tracked down JT. During the whole sales process JT had kept telling us that he would be there for us. He had given us his cell number and said to call it if we ever had problems - he had had it forever. Now, all of a sudden, he washed his hands of the whole thing. The PDL manager, who is in charge of prepping rv's for customers, JT and the sales manager pow wowed in the sales manager's office forever, making us wait some more, before JT came out and introduced us to the PDL and walked away. The PDL told us that there was a list of parts that were missing. He told us that he had told everyone not to even advertise the rv because of issues he was having getting parts. He told us that EVERYONE knew from the beginning that there was no way the rv would be ready any time soon. It could be a month before it was ready. So they all lied to us, knowing we have a camping trip planned this weekend. They lied to us to make the sale, knowing full well that we would not be able to take possession of the toy hauler for a long time. We were furious and rightly so. We now either cancel our camping trip or have to take a whole day off of work to reload all of our stuff into our trailer we were trading in so that we can go camping and then take it all out again. This is not how you treat customers. They do not care how they mess up people's lives, people's vacations or what it costs customers when they lie to them. The only person there who was honest with us was the finance person. He called us later that day to refund our deposit, which we demanded as we left, yelling at the sales manager. The sales manager, and JT deserved so much worse than the yelling that we did. When the finance person called us, he was not aware of all the lies and was appalled as we were. We will never ever buy anything from Camping World ever again, we will tell everyone we know not to and we do NOT recommend that anyone attempt to purchase an RV from them.

    I got a terrific deal on the RV we bought. They fixed up my old trailer and consigned it for me. It sold for what I wanted two weeks later. If I had traded in my trailer with the other dealers I was at I would have lost $3000. I would definitely use them for all my service and sales in the future.

    this was the shuttle service from DIA to longmont 1. (great employee)
    the worst problem was the shuttle driver from del camino to home in longmont. extremely unprofessional and do the owners know he smokes in the shuttle cause it stunk! he was extremely opposite of the first shuttle driver.. so rude!
