We had our large dog washed and trimmed 3 months ago for the first time with Healthy Bone.  The groomer was late getting to the shop, so we had to sit outside and wait.  She did a very good job and we weren't too concerned with the late issue if it was a one-time thing.  We made another appointment through their online appointment book for Saturday at 10:00.  We received an email reminder of the appointment the day before.  We arrived at the Healthy Bone at our appointment time, but the groomer never showed up.  I called the Healthy Bone number and could hear the phone ringing inside.  I left a message.  We went back home and I called the groomer's cell phone, but it went to voicemail.  We would love to use this business, but don't want to deal with dependability issues.  We made an appointment at another grooming facility.

What a great place!!  We've moved to Erie, CO and I've been searching for "That Groomer" since leaving Indianapolis.  I decided to try Puppy Paws Pet Spa after some questionable experiences with other businesses.  I found Debbie's business on-line and I appreciated her website.  I called her up and made the appointment.  Debbie was very friendly on the phone.
The day of the grooming started sort of crazy for us, not Debbie's fault.  Our schnauzer was having ear problems the night before and I wanted to get her into the vet the following day.  After talking to the vet, the scheduling for the groomer and the vet were going to be close.  I called Debbie at Puppy Paws and explained my situation.  She was great, stating I could drop off Hannah earlier than the set appointment time if that would help with my conflict.  Long story, short, Hannah made it to both appointments with some "down time" in-between.
Just before 1 p.m., I arrived with Hannah for the appointment.  The receptionist cheerfully welcomed us and acknowledge speaking with me the night before to remind us of our appointment.  Debbie walked out seconds later and introduced herself to Hannah and me.  For the first time since moving back to Colorado, I didn't feel rushed explaining Hannah's needs to Debbie.  In addition, the spa didn't appear "loud" or "chaotic" with dogs and hair.  It was an active spa, but clean feeling and bright.
About an hour and forty-five minutes later, I was called with news that Hannah was ready to be picked-up.  I arrived to see a beautifully groomed schnauzer.  Debbie asked for my critique and offered to shorten anything that looked out of place.  I thought it looked great.   Of course Hannah was ready to leave, but she didn't seem stressed out as I've noticed in the past.
As for the $45 spent, a bit more than I've paid at other local places but the well worth the extra expense.  I know that Hannah left the  salon happy and we're also excited about how great she looked.  I've already booked my next appointment in 5 weeks!!!
