All My Sons Moving and Storage
Movers were very good -- boxed, wrapped everything I did not have already boxed up; protected my floor with runners and railings going upstairs with padding. They were very efficient. The move did end up costing me more than the estimate, which I was not real happy with, but considering I had to have them make a second stop to clear out a storage unit, I suppose it was really fair. Moved from Dacono to Colorado Springs. They are a little higher than some movers out there, but they are bonded and insured and seemed to be well trained to do a good job. It was worth the few extra bucks not to have any headaches. I will be hiring them again to move me from the storage unit to my new home.

Our experience was great. The $243 Big Deal cost covered everything and it was half of what other people were bidding. It worked out very well. The guys were courteous, fast, and asked if there is anything else we wanted. They were very helpful.

Ron and his team moved me from Colorado to Ohio in February 2015.  Ron seemed very nice when he came out to give me his estimate and continued to appear professional and responsive throughout the beginning stages of this move.  I was concerned that his company didn't have as good of insurance as the big truck companies, but he assured me that as the owner of the company he would repair or replace anything that was not as it appeared when it left my house.  He seemed very genuine, so I decided to give a smaller company a shot.  At first, I was definitely happy with my decision.  On the day of my move, his team showed up on time and they even brought a few picture boxes for free that I needed last minute.  I was having some small talk with one of the team members and I asked how long he had worked for this company.  He told me it was his first day.  He said that he went to apply for the job that morning and since Ron was low on movers for my move, he hired him on the spot.  He said he didn't have a great deal of moving experience.  That definitely made me nervous, but they were already at my house and moving stuff out, so there was not much I could do.  Everything appeared to go relatively smoothly.  That is, until I got the stuff delivered to my house in Ohio.  They lost several pieces of hardware to my crib and the rest of the hardware for other items were taped?yes taped?directly to the TOP of the furniture.  I have tape marks covering the top of my furniture. There were also chips in pretty much every piece of wood that was delivered.  I reached out to Ron and he took no responsibility.  I told him I would be writing a review and he said he ?feel saddened that I would go to such lengths to disparage his company's reputation.?  I cannot speak for any other move that he has done.  I can only speak for mine and I am left with a lot of ruined furniture that Ron is not fixing.  When I told him about the issues, he got very defensive and angry.  His demeanor completely changed from the Ron that I met for our quote.  He kept saying that he went above and beyond for my move.  It seemed that he took on something more than he could handle and then put it on me as if he was doing me a favor for my long distance move.  I hired him to provide a service and that service was not provided properly.  I would strongly recommend AGAINST using Abe Lincoln Movers.

Everything went really well.  Their initial bid was very competitive to other vendors.  They even sent out a representative to tour our house so they could provide a detailed estimate for the move.
The day of the move was seamless.  They showed up at 8 am and were finished by 3 o'clock.  The employees were polite and carefully handled our furniture.  Nothing was broken.  There was a minor scuff on the bed foot board, but it buffed out pretty easily.  I noticed the scuff after the movers had left.
Finally, the actual cost for the move was about $200 less than the bid.  I would definitely give Movemasters a call if we plan to move again.

If I could give Movemasters a rating higher than A+, I would. They did absolutely everything they said they would. Jason met me at the house and gave me a very reasonable estimate. I was originally going to have them come and pack me and then move on the next day. However, I changed that to no packing and just a move. There was no issue at all with doing that. On the day of the move, a crew of four movers showed up at the time promised and were very pleasant and easy to work with. They actually finished the job in less time than anticipated and there were no issues with the move at all.

The move I had to make was temporary and will be moving to a final destination in four months. I will definitely use Movemasters again and will request that same crew to make the move for me. I highly recommend them to anyone that has any moving needs. They are one of the best, if not the best, moving company I've ever worked with.

We had a great experience with Main Street Movers. We hired them to do an in-house move of heavy furniture around our house. That included moving some very heavy furniture including a 500 ilbs desk secretary and a heavy sleeper sofa. They moved it without complaining even though I told them they had a light piano to move even though it was really heavy. I'd definitely use them again. Plus, they have a two hour minimum instead of a four hour minimum that a lot of local moving companies require.

    Abe Lincoln Movers & Storage

When I spoke to the owner to make the arrangements, he assured me  his team would pack the truck well.    They did a great job!   I've used a lot of moving companies and not all can pack a truck.

On the day of the move, they contacted me to let me know they were on their way and would only be a few minutes late.

The 3 man team did an excellent job.   They packed the truck perfectly.   They used every inch of space in the truck.   They were professional, they worked quickly, but very careful with my furniture.   They made sure everything was covered and packed well.   They completed the job in less time than expected.

Excellent Service!   I would recommend them to anyone.

    Klatt Moving & Storage
Showed up on time, were friendly, worked hard, took care of materials, and cleaned up after themselves.   We had 2 movers at our apartment and 3 at the storage unit.   The apartment movers arrived at 8:30 am and were finished by 11:30. The cost was 100/hr. The storage unit movers arrived at 8:30 am and were finished by 12:30.  The cost was 120/hr. We used Klatt back in August and they were just as good this time around.

    Stallion Moving Services
Oh, Stallion Moving, how to rate you?  On the one hand, we thought you had completely stood us up and we nearly had a panic attack trying to come up with alternate last-minute options to meet our move-out deadline.  On the other hand, the two guys who eventually did show up (Fred and Scott) were OUTSTANDING!
I think much of our worry would have been eliminated if we would have received a confirmation call the night before, since it had been several weeks since the appointment was booked.  But when we couldn't get a response from anyone for three and a half hours after the expected start time of the work, we had to start making alternate plans.
We eventually did receive a call letting us know that a previous job had run longer than expected and they could still make it to our house that night.  An apology for the delay would have been nice to hear, but we were just glad to be back on schedule.  The next call I received was from Fred, one of the movers, and he was very apologetic for the situation, and even though it was going to be past 9:30pm when they could arrive, he was very positive about completing it however long it takes into the night.  I remember thinking after the call that Fred should be the one running the company, with his pleasant approach to customer service.
Fred and another mover, Scott, showed up as promised and have to be two of the hardest-working guys I have ever seen.  I have to give a shout out to Scott, because he might also be one of the smallest moving guys I have ever seen, but his strength was nearly inhuman - awesome work!
We don't have a lot of stairs or many large furniture items, but the boxes of things just seemed to keep growing (sorry, guys..) and it took until almost 2am to pack the last moving pod.  They were true experts at using every inch of space and treated our things carefully.  I was truly impressed with what they were able to accomplish, and never a word of complaining for how late it got.
So it worked out in the end, and I really appreciated Fred and Scott's hard work, but I admit, I chose a different company to help me unload the pods a few weeks later at my new house.  There are a lot of moving companies out there to choose from and I simply cannot support a company that allows me to feel the way I did at the beginning of the event.  I understand that other jobs can run late, but the lack of communication to keep me informed was not very professional.  So I do not recommend Stallion Moving unless you can tolerate possible delays and being kept in the dark, but I do wish the very best to Fred and Scott.

    Abe Lincoln Movers & Storage
They were late yet called us before to warn us. When they arrived they followed our directions of what to move. They completed this ahead of time, and with complete confidence and professionalism. Certain items were wrapped and certain ones not, just depending upon condition and need. We had 3 hours and they handled that very well. The move in Erie went well and when arriving in Westminster at our new apartment they started out quickly per our instruction of what went where. Even one chair was moved by them once we decided it needed to be in the living room. They finished 15 minutes early and I should have tipped them which I will do on their website.
I would recommend them to friends, family and anyone asking for advice on movers. Thanks Angie for listing a real good mover.
