  • L&L Glass gave us different quotes for our large 58"x86" tempered glass shower wall. We chose 1/2" thickness over 3/8" thickness since it was such a large piece of glass. We also liked the Starphire Ultra Clear glass over the standard clear glass. From making an appointment to measuring to installation, this company was very professional and had the best price. They were also the only company that used just 2 clips at the top, not 4-6 clips that other companies quoted. It looks so much better with just 2.

  • Brian is the consummate professional. His work is excellent and he pays attention to every detail. He also took the time to review all the safety features in the house and replaced where necessary. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of his work.

  • I worked with several companies getting quotes for a shower glass door I needed on a new bathroom I built in the basement. Land L was super quick with responses and quote adjustments based on what I wanted. They were very helpful in helping me decide on the type of glass I needed for the shower and gave me multiple options on pricing. Unfortunately, I didn't use them because they only do semi-frameless and frameless. Since this was a basement bathroom, I didn't want the shower to be nicer than the master bath shower so I wanted a framed shower :) Their prices were competitive with other companies doing semi-frameless. I would definitely consider using them in the future based solely on their great communication with me.

  • He was absolutely horrible. We had to have someone come in to fix what Bob Hoppe had done. He caused 3 leaks in my kitchen ceiling, that he never offered to repair. He dropped a tile on my new bathtub that he installed, it caused some damage. He said he could not afford to repair that either. It was sloppy work and his grout did not look professional. Currently as I speak, I am dealing with another leak. I then released him from the job. His work was cheep and and his price was too, which should have been a red flag to me. He was punctual and he did try to come back to fix things, but he kept making things worse. He came and did some other odd jobs for me too and one of them I had to have re-done.

  • Certainly not the cheapest but what an organization and follow up all along the way, from the choice of the materials until the final completion and help to correct some issues.  Sara and all the team have been fantastic to schedule the remodel with minimum disruptions (especially with 2 very young kids) and coordinate every contractor so that the whole adventure was as seamless as possible.  Everything from the demo until the tiling of the backsplash was completed within 1 week.  We had some issues (needed additional polishing of the corners of the counter and one issue with a touch less faucet) and they have been on top for correcting everything in a more than timely manner.  We will gladly use them again when we will remodel our bathrooms.

  • It went great, and I knew it would. We've used them before. He came highly reccommended from a friend. He is punctual, honest, accurate, and clean. He cleans everything up, and does what he says - and says what he does.

  • We contacted Jerry to get a quote for the proposed work.  He was very professional and thorough when discussing our options. We set the start date for the remodel. All work was completed on time and under budget. There were no surprises during the whole process.

  • I had all kinds of problems with that guy.  First of all I had a problem getting in contact with him.  He just didn't show up for one appointment.  I called him back.  That should have been a warning sign to me, but he had gotten a bunch of positive ratings from other Angie's List people so I went ahead and contacted him again.  He is a little bit bizarre.  When I asked for an estimate, he gave me an estimate for the tile work and then he told me that he also needed to charge me for the materials.  That should have been a warning sign too.  I should have gotten an all inclusive bid.  He went out and bought a whole bunch of stuff that supposedly was going to be used to do the work at my house, but he didn't use anything that he purchased.  He had a bunch of old material, huge buckets of stuff that he had been using for months.  All he did was he upped the cost by nearly $200.00.  He initially said that the material wouldn't cost more than $100.00 and it came out to $190.00.  He made a terrible mess in my house.  He had to do a lot of cutting of the tile to make it fit.  He asked if he could use his tile cutting thing inside the kitchen where the work was being done.  I told him I didn't like that idea because I didn't want fine pieces of granite all over the house.  He told me he was using a wet saw so there would be no dust going anywhere.  As it turns out, there was dust all over the house.  I had a brand new kitten that went and got that granite on her paws and got scratches and I ended up having to take her to the vet.  He left a huge mess of black stuff all over the walls in two of the bathrooms.  He was a disaster as far as I am concerned.  The actual tile work was acceptable but all those other things make him a lousy person to do business with.  I think the price was a bit high because of the extra nearly $200.00 that I should have been smart enough not to pay but I did.  The price was bad.  He was on time when he actually showed up for work, but he didn't show up for one of his scheduled meetings to give an estimate.
