    Colorado Windshield Company
Matt called me and set up the appointment for the next day. I had talked to him several days earlier but wanted to check Angies List first because I don't do business with cold calls unless they check out.Although they were a little later than scheduled do to road closers in Boulder Colorado. the installers were professional and friendly. They could not call because they had no cell service on Flagstaff.Leo, the lead installer was very good and didn't mind me watching the process of taking out the cracked windshield and putting in the new one.I defiantly will be calling them next time I need a windshield.

Ben was very professional. He looked at the service schedule and performed everything as needed. There were some items on the dealer's and quot;Premium Serviceand quot; schedule that just were not necessary at this time (e.g., replace radiator cap, replace engine drive belts, etc.). The dealer would have had me replace a half dozen unnecessary items at 30k and at 60k mi that would have cost me over $1000 each 30k interval. Ben recommended that we look at these items again at the next service interval. I trust Ben's professional opinion and will follow his advice as I continue to have his shop perform all future maintenence on my vehicles.

    LAFAYETTE IMPORT MOTORS
They are reasonable, good and they stand by their work. If they don't do it right the first time, they do it as many times as they have to do it to get it right. It is very difficult to get parts for a car that old. They charge about a third of what a dealer would charge. They are good so they are busy. They can't always get to me like a place that isn't good. They are usually booked up for the week by 10 am on Monday morning. They are not as fast as other people but they are better. They are real people that stand by their word and they make things right.

    Executive Auto Shippers LLC
This is an update to my last review posted on 11/17. Executive Auto Shippers are incredibly professional and great at what they do. I say this because after I posted my last review I noticed that my E-ZPass toll transponder had picked up a large toll amount on the trip while my car was being transported. It was totally my fault since I had not removed the transponder before shipping my car. I contacted the PA Turnpike authority to ask for a refund since clearly the freight truck had also paid those charges while going through the toll road. PA Turnpike authority being rigid and unreasonable as expected, asked me to provide receipts from the trucking company that they indeed paid the toll. And not only that, but expected me to respond with this information within 3-4 days, which was an unnecessary timeline. Executive Auto not only responded quickly to my request, but also contacted the freight company to respond to this situation quickly. To my surprise, I received a check from Executive Auto for the toll reimbursement. :) This avoided the whole drama with PA Turnpike authority and their rigid timelines, and also made me come back to Angie's and post another positive review for the company. I am very genuinely happy with their shipping as well as after-ship-service and would recommend anyone and everyone to use them for your car shipping needs. Betty and Matt are truly great customer service providers. I give them 2 thumbs up and recommend people to trust this company with your car! :)

    Foreign Automotive Specialists Team
I sent this email to F.A.S.T. two months ago, and left a voice mail message for them as well, and to date, I have not received a returned call or email:
"Steve and F.A.S.T. Team,My name is Mark Harper, and I am a customer of yours. I have brought in my car and my wife's SUV. I'm a big fan of Angie's List? I use it to find great businesses (as I did with you) and I in turn like to submit feedback for others to see. However, I have held off on writing a review of my last experience at F.A.S.T. because I don't want my disappointment of my
last visit to t**** other people's view of you, but unfortunately, if I wrote an honest review of my last experience with you, that is what my review would do.
My last experience wasn't a positive one, but up until this past visit, I have been pleased with your work, pricing, service, and promptness of work. I also am a business owner, and if we fell short in pleasing a customer, I would hope that that person would
let me know (before letting the world know through a post on Angie's List, Facebook?). So that is what I am doing by extending this courtesy to you.I will try to be as brief as possible while still conveying the story? In the second week of June (the 14th), while in the midst of Denver's heat wave, I called, set up a time to bring my car in as my AC had started making a funny noise, and on that arranged time, I brought my 2001 Audi A4 Quatro to you. After taking down the passenger side dashboard panel, you saw the faulty part and deduced that the AC motor need to be replaced. You ordered the part online, gave me a quote, I paid for that part and we scheduled a time for me to come back for the repair on Monday, June 17th. On the 17th, I dropped my car off that morning with the communication from you guys that it would be done by noon. I scheduled with a co-worker to be dropped off at your location at that time. However, when the part arrived, and your technicians prepared to install it, you realized that despite having previously taken the time to take down the front dash panel, that the wrong part had been identified, and the wrong part ordered. I then received informing me of this issue, and letting me know that I would be without my car for the entire day and that my quote had now just been increased. Even though that wasn't the news that I wanted to hear, was all of that was still understandable. What I found to be unacceptable was that not a single person expressed or communicated to me any sort of
remorse for the increased cost, the additional loss of time, or convenience. So at the end of the day, and after arranging for one of my employees to drop me off at your place, I arrived, settled up the tab and was handed my keys. But there was no attempt at a face to face explanation of how it was diagnosed wrong in the first place (on June 14th) despite having had the car for a sufficient amount of time to make that diagnosis. There was no offer to eat the difference in the price of the part (which wasn't drastically more), no offer to reduce the labor charge, to throw in a free oil change? Nothing! There wasn't a "sorry", or a "thanks for your understanding.". And then to top it off, I called you later that week (twice), left a voicemail once and left a message with a person once, both times asking for a return call from Steve, and have yet to receive the courtesy of a returned call.
This is why I am disappointed in my last experience at your shop. I hope you can understand this and I hope you appreciate me expressing this to you in this personal manner instead of airing this frustration on one of these public forums (Angie's List, Demand Force?). I understand that you guys are busy and that your 8-5 hours are usually consumed with caring for your client base, of which my wife and I are a part of, but I would appreciate an email or a call back to discuss this matter. Both of my vehicles are due for oil changes but I am holding off on bringing my vehicles back to F.A.S.T. Until I have heard from you and this matter has been discussed.I am an easy man to talk with. I am not hostile or unreasonable. But I do require the basics of communication and courtesy. Thanks for hearing me out and for your prompt attention to this matter.
    Best Regards,
    Mark"

I do not recommend F.A.S.T. to anyone.  They say that "Service is King", and since this shop places such low importance on service, that leaves them as nothing more that clowns.

    Safelite AutoGlass
We had a problem with them, in that we setup everything online which was great, it was a nice easy website to maneuver. Some of the questions on there, one of them had to do with "whether you want to have an Aftermarket or a windshield replaced that is for your make of a car." We have a Toyota and it needed windshield repair. We could either get Aftermarket, meaning it is not a Toyota approved product, or we could have a Toyota approved product. We requested the Toyota approved product. We got a call this morning, they were supposed to install it. They evidently did not read the information on the e-mail where we applied to have this done and they did not have this, and now we are having to redo it all next week, because they have to get the correct windshield. So that is a problem for us. They got a nice website, but they are evidently not monitoring their website, as they should be. They also said that they were going to call and confirm the information on the website, and they never did that either. Their price is reasonable, but this is going to be an insurance claim anyway so we would not be paying anything, our insurance would cover it all. The only thing that we know about this company is they dropped a bomb on a couple of little areas and now we are having to reschedule for next week, so that is a problem. Other than this, I do not know what the quality of their work is, but initially it is an issue.

    STAN'S AUTOMOTIVE
My wife and I have used Stan's several times over the last few years for our 2003 Nissan Xterra and 2007 Pontiac Vibe. Most recently, one of the Vibe's fuel injectors stuck open, flooding the cylinder with gas and effectively disabling the car. We had the Vibe towed to Stan's, who relatively quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended what was needed to address the problem.
As the overall recommendations were to change the oil, fuel system clean, and check the catalytic converter the price for service started to climb somewhat quickly. They were very helpful in working with me to lower the overall bill by advising me on performing some of the work myself (such as the oil change and fuel system clean).
The next time we have a preventative issue or acute problem crop up we'll be running our cars by Stan's.

    Executive Auto Shippers LLC
I contacted Executive Auto Shippers along with two other providers I found on the internet.  I chose them largely because their price was substantially less than the other providers.  They showed up in front of our house in Erie, CO within 15 minutes of the promised time, and loaded our two cars very quickly.  We completed the paperwork and I gave them the keys to the cars.  On 20 July 2012 as requested our two cars were delivered in front of our new home in Port Saint Lucie, FL at the time promised.  The two cars were unloaded quickly and upon examination there were no damages to either car.  The only problem we ran into was that the keys to one of the cars was missing; as I had extra keys this short fall caused no problems.  Three days later my keys arrived by FEDEX.
Overall the service was as much as one could reasonably expect and it was provided at substantially less than other auto transporters I could locate on the internet.  The only thing they could have done to make the service better was to detail my cars :)

    Eagle Service
He's a really awesome guy, he works alone. The best thing I can say about him is he's honest and he's great. Both of our cars have 150,000 miles on them. He's done everything from changing oil to rotating the tires to stuff that I don't anything about. Sometimes he'll charge us $5 for something so I know he's not out to get rich at our expense. He's very friendly. He'a slways good in getting us in when he says it'll get done it's pretty much done.

    Dave's Auto Glass
Safelite quoted me $293.00.  Then I remembered I had a subscription to AngiesList.  David had great reviews (like he's getting from me now) so I gave him a call.  The nicest guy!  We scheduled for the next morning at my work in Broomfield.  He showed up early and did great work.  He's thorough, explains everything and warranties his work.  He charged me 160 bucks (instead of $293.00) and I felt good supporting an independent  business person .  He's a pro.  Use him!!
