    Eco Roof and Solar
Unprofessional, untrustworthy, and the work is still incomplete. We hired Eco Roof and Solar in July 2017 to repair our roof. In January 2018, the roof is still not done. Parts of the roof were re-done with extremely shoddy workmanship. We have consulted other contractors who have told us that the entire roof put up by Eco will need to be re-done. Eco also promised new decking, which was never added. Flashing is missing or incomplete in many spots. Further inspection of the roof shows areas completely uncovered, broken boards, missing gutters, and the list goes on. Additonally, Eco never completed the damaged siding beause their quote was much higher than originally promised. After our extreme disappointment with the person who was handing our project, Eco directed us to another manager to help finish the job. Upon trying to reach him, he will be in Florida for the next month. If you want ****-poor workmanship, no communication, high prices, and overall terrible experience, hire Eco Roof and Solar for your next project. Hopefully, no other members out there make the same mistake we did. If you want a roof over your head, hire someone else.

Roof Corp of Metro Denver Inc.
I am really pleased with the work they did, and how they kept me in the loop about when their workers were coming, etc. Also not pushy to get me to sign on after the hail storm. It was a recommendation from my neighbor, and I saw then how good the work was. Also, the project manager Rich took the time to go over the billing with me slowly, so I understood it. This even though the insurance paid for it.

    Integrous Roofing & Restoration Inc.
Oh my gosh! I would never again have service provider anxiety if I could use Integrous for all my home service needs. All of my dealings were with David White. He is the most approachable, likable, caring and good-natured contractor EVER. David took care of absolutely everything - he arranged for other companies to do the garage and windows; he took care of ALL the dealings with the insurance company and payments. He was so understanding and reassuring when I worried about whether all of the work would really be covered. With this storm, his plate had to be SO full; yet he always made me feel like the most important customer. The professionals who came and did the work were all great too and the work was very well done in all cases. I sincerely could not be happier with this company.

The energetic and happy crew that installed my new roof knew exactly what to do. Each member understood their role and how to perform it in an expertly synchronized way. The crew timed the installation perfectly in and around the crazy fall weather. Everyone gave their best to my project. I want to especially thank Tom Carroll and Craig White. Tom walked me through the initial steps of doing paperwork and then he patiently answered all of my questions whenever I called him. Craig, who gathered his experience taking job after job until he learned the many different aspects of the roofing industry, took personal pride in planning every phase of my project. Craig is the one I counted on to smooth out the installation process so I didn't have to worry about a thing. These two men are lifesavers. They each gave generously of themselves and put their hearts into helping me. Thank you!

    GS Exterior Experts
The whole process from estimate to completion took about a month.  There was a week delay on the window but otherwise they got down to work and were there every day working their tails off.  The screen on my sliding glass door was damaged and they had it and two other torn screens repaired even though I told them I wasn't entirely sure they had damaged the other two.  There was some slight frustration around communication - I had difficulty communicating with the crew and so used email to relay issues to Ernest.  Those communications did not always get results, but the end result was that it cost them time and materials which they gladly gave.  They had a different crew do the gutters and overall they did an excellent job as well.  One exception was that they put a downspout in the wrong location, but, again, it was moved without any hesitation.  The cleanup was stellar.  I lost a few plants in my yard but they were up against the house and unavoidable.  Otherwise, there was very little evidence that they were ever there except for my gorgeous newly sided home.
In my 24 years as a homeowner, I have never had such a pleasant and uncomplicated experience with a service company.  Truly, these guys are golden!!  I felt listened to and respected, and was witness to some truly dedicated and hard working guys.  Definitely, get some other estimates so when you ultimately go with GS you can relish what an amazing deal you got!

It was difficult to contact them, the phone was rarely answered. I bought the $199 gutter special, but then had to pay an additional $288. I don't know if it was a good deal or not because the owner refused to supply me with an itemized bill! They had to come back out for a bracket that was missed; no big deal, they took care of it. The day of install went like this they showed up and were friendly. I went over the job with them, and I assumed they would do the same with me. The just disappeared when they were done. I came out to find this coax cable laying on the ground, and it had been freshly cut. I check the TV and it was working fine so I assumed it was some old let over cable so I took it the rest of the way down. I forgot about the TV in the living room that we seldom use.; yes it was out. I also found a few screws in the driveway, and a piece of scrap aluminum that they missed. I wouldn't trust them to come back out and fix the cable, so now I have to pay Dish to come out and repair it! No. I will not use this contractor again!!!

    Colorado Roofing and Remodeling
The entire roof was replaced 3 years ago because of water leaking into the ceiling.  This replacement was not covered by insurance. However, I asked my insurance agent for a recommendation of a reputable roofer.  I obtained estimates from several companies.  Selected the company the insurance agent recommended highly although their cost was higher than the other estimates.  The selection of that particular roofer resulted in a 3 year nightmare.  I have a 5 year warranty for the roof.  After calling the roofing company every year for the past 3 years to repair:
    • - water pouring through the kitchen light fixtures two years in a row and causing ceiling damage (which was the original reason for replacing the roof)
    • - water damage to the fascia boards and soffit (paint peeling and wood warping)
    • - drainage from roof/gutter caused damage to the driveway, which buckled and had to be replaced

After 3 years of frustration and continuing damage to my house I joined Angie's list to find a company other than the original roofer to assess the problems and apply required repairs.  After consulting with several businesses it was determined the problem was a combination of the roof and gutters.  I contacted  Colorado Roofing and Remodeling, who advertised as having  expertise in both areas.  They assessed the situation and diagnosed a number of problems.  Basically, the original roofing company did a very shoddy job, which was not a surprise.  (A major red flag of the coming troubles happened the evening they completed the roof -- one of the vents installed fell off the roof into the backyard.)  Colorado Roofing and Remodeling did the following:
    - Replaced missing ice/water shield.
    - Installed the starter strip which was missing around entire perimeter of the roof.
    - Replaced shingles in valleys and necessary areas around the perimeter of the roof.
    - Repaired and sealed wall flashing.
    - Secured and sealed loose shingles on the eaves.
    - Secured existing gutter spikes and installed additional gutter hangers
The owner David Melvin did adjust the cost when it was determined that the repairs were not as extensive as originally assessed.
One problem did occur during this project.   Hopefully this last incident was the final chapter of this three year nightmare related to the roof.  Somehow during the last repair the crew made a number of slices through the water tubing feeding the evaporative cooler on the roof.   This happened at the end of a day.  I normally check what has been done but did not this particular day because I had to leave early the next morning to attend a funeral out of town.  As a result water sprayed out of the tubing for the 4 days I was away.   The result was a flooded crawl space.  Fortunately the sump pump was working so the hot water heater pilot light was not extinguished by the water.  I am puzzled why the crew did not notice the water spraying into the air since it was sliced in a number of places.  David replaced the tubing and provided a discount on the total bill to compensate for part of the water bill.  Overall, despite the incident with the sliced tubing, David Melvin, owner of Colorado Roofing and Remodeling, was conscientious and knowledgeable.  I appreciated his thoroughness, follow-up and timeliness  The weather this winter will determine if these repairs are finally the end of this 3 year nightmare.

I am very pleased with the appearance of our new gutters. I am also very pleased with the time frame in which the crew completed the product - they arrived at 11:30 a.m. and were done by 3:00 p.m. I was not home when the crew finished (so they likely finished earlier than 3:00 p.m.), so they left an invoice, which made it convenient for me to go on with my work day. The only negative about this experience was that the first time I called to set up an appointment for a quote, I scheduled a time and nobody showed at the scheduled time. When I followed up the following week, the owner did apologize for the oversight and he did show up for the next scheduled appointment. The owner also referred me to a painter, whom I may use to do our exterior trim.

It took them over 2 years to "complete" the job. They will not return my calls, or emails to address warranty related issues that I brought to their attention even before the job was complete. They damaged my home and will not take responsibility for the damages. They claimed to be licensed in my city which they were not. The city reported to me that they have multiple complaints/issues with them. They had to re-do two major sections due to improper installation and materials usage. The end product looks good but i am concerned due to their non-responsiveness and long list of unanswered promises.

They showed up when expected and did a very professional job. They worked well with me on material selection making suggestions and explaining why. Consulted well on downspout locations and other design elements. I did get upcharged to replace some rotted soffit boards which i thought should have been included since it was an up front known issue.
