He did remove 2 of the five cysts and did a nice job of that.  The staff was unable to tell me what it was going to costs even based on prior charges from past procedures...not even a ballpark cost.  Not until after the procedure is done will they tell you what it costs.  THat is how medicine works I guess.  I ultimately felt like I was more of a dollar sign than a patient and that my appt requests were not respected.  To have had 3 more removed would have proportionally costs me less than going back for a second appt.  $700 dollars later I have 3 of the 5 cysts that I had a month ago.  I won't be going back for that price.

She gave me options for my sweating and advised me to try the less invasive approach first. She explained all the risks clearly. She never approached with judgment and was extremely friendly. With my Botox I was never brushed or swollen, and had an extremely reasonable pricing. She did exactly what I wanted.

I had never been to a derm before, but I decided to get professional treatment for swelling inflamed oil-secreting bumps, that were much different from anything I had ever experience among my skin problems. They didn't clear up on their own. I had them on my scalp, arms, neck. Dr. Sanders seemed very dismissive , and diagnosed it as mere acne, even a bump I had had on my neck for six months. I went into the appointment very optimistic, hoping to provide a precise description of my symptoms. I made notes in order to make sure I asked all the questions I needed to ask. However, I felt rushed and unable to speak all of my concerns. Worst of all, she was terribly condescending. I felt like a scolded grandson when she shamed me bout picking at the bumps. Here I was quite depressed about these painful ugly bumps that would not go away, and she was practically saying it was my fault. Sure, having the discipline not to pick at bumps is important in order for them to heal, and I DID leave them alone at first hoping they would heal, but these sore inflamed bumps weren't going away anytime soon.
After a second visit, I had more of the inflamed bumps, some of them had gone away after months, but still others had popped up in new locations. Once again I felt rushed, dismissed, shamed. On a separate note, I mentioned that the majority of my acne actually seemed to be like Keratosis Pillaris of the face, as opposed to the normal puss-filled bacteria-based acne, and she agreed, but she still prescribed me anti-bacterial acne medication, which does nothing for Keratosis Pillaris, and a Cream to soften the skin, and before I could even review the prescriptions she had dolled out for me, she was out of the room. And still I had these hard painful inflamed oil-secreting bumps, which she still considered to be acne. I had gone back a second time hoping that she would see that these persistant bumps needed different treatment from normal acne, if they were acne at all. I had tried to explain to her how they were different. Afterall, as the patient I am very familiar with the conditions and problems on my skin. But she told me that I what I was describing was nothing more than "traumatized skin" alluding to the idea that I was simply mutilating myself for the h*** of it. Ultimately she didn't seem truly engaged in understanding and resolving my skin problem, and thus the prescriptions she has hastily provided me have not proven effective.

My appointment was with Kristin Pogue. She removed a number of precancerous areas and a suspicious mole. She and her assistant did an excellent/ painless job. They may have downplayed the recovery process a bit but all-in-all I was very pleased with their services.

It was the first time I used her.  She has a really nice office.  She gave me a lot of hopeful advice with how to control my skin problems.  I have been happy with the results.  She is highly available.  I would use her again in the future.

It went well, he was not able to close the wound as it was too complicated, but that was not his fault. He gave me a break on the cost because I am uninsured.
