Funeral Home reviews in Divide

My brother recently passed and we had to send his body from Oregon to Colorado. When I first spoke with these people to transfer my brothers body to Colorado they seemed nice and empathatic to our situation. We also wanted to work with a family owned business as the one we were working with in Oregon was very nice and was making accommodations for us even with the virus. When I first spoke with Evergreen Funeral they stated that we could only have five people attend the funeral and burial. I asked if they could at least accommodate 10 and she said yes and was trying to be "nice."Come to find out the day of his funeral they allowed ten people anyways. So that was one thing of many that ****** me off. The woman Jenny I was working with got upset that my mother wanted to see her son on the weekend, but couldn't so my sister and law tried to call her and see if she could work with a grieving mother that son passed away at the age of 30 (something very difficult to handle). She calls me at work very upset and agitated towards me and ask "what is it that your family wants!,"It was obvious what we wanted, for my mother to have time with her son. She then proceeds to say if we want we can just sign paperwork and send his body to another funeral home that would work with us. I wanted to yell at this woman and be verbally abusive towards her. We are suffering from my older brothers death and you could tell the people only cared for the money that we were forking over to them. The staff was never unprofessional during the funeral day making jokes and dressed very sloppy and unprofessional. They had my mother sign paper work the day we buried his body. When my mother was at the funeral home for five hours with my brother body. Why the **** was this not done before hand. Please do not send a loved one here they only made things worse for us when we were grieving. DO NOT TRUST THEIR REVIEWS ON GOOGLE. I believe they are deleting negative reviews and not only have I written a review, but so has my sister and it does not reflect and bad reviews. This place only cares about the money save yourself the heartache.

    The Springs Funeral Services
In a world where ‘excellent customer service’ has almost become a thing of the past, I wanted to highlight the amazing experience I had with “The Springs Funeral Services” (TSFS). They were recommended to me by several military entities and hospice care professionals in Colorado Springs. This family owned company went above and beyond the call of duty and provided excellent support, demonstrated amazing patience, and was profusely supportive to my family. I specifically worked with Mr. Tom Vien (Funeral Director), who is an expert at his craft, has strong bonds to multiple organizations in the community (faith-based and veteran), and is a bonafide professional! I assisted my mother who was grieving the loss of her husband (USAF veteran). Tom proficiently coordinated the viewing (@ TSFS), funeral services (with a large local church), and burial (Ft Logan National Military Cemetery). He didn’t miss a beat. He orchestrated the newspaper/online obituary, memorial tribute table, lifetime photo/video homage, transportation, casket, flowers, food, military honors in Colorado Springs and in Denver, and SO many more details that occurred behind the scenes. He made sure we crossed every ‘t’ and dotted every ‘i’. His aptitude made this process as smooth as it could be, when family and friends are dealing with loss. Not only were his occupational capabilities on point---his demeanor and etiquette were always respectful and compassionate. I understand it takes more than one person to get the job done; so, I will add that every staff member I interacted with at The Springs Funeral Services, displayed kindness and punctual support. I could not have asked for a better experience and graciously appreciate Mr. Vien and his team at The Springs Funeral Services for their help! Highly recommend!!!

Everything was professionally done with my interaction with Swan Law. From the beginning of the preplanning, making arrangements, making sure that my husband was tastefully presented and natural looking (which was very important to him) and the conclusion of my dealings with Swan Law was impeccable.

    Funeral Consulting Services
Randy and I met and he gave me some questions to ask my  mother so that I could begin to fill out the book.  After I got most of the information Randy made an appointment with my husband and myself to go over the booklet.  Most of the time Randy would meet with the client direct but because she lived out of state he was going over everything with us.  Randy spent 3 hours going over every details about arranging a funeral for my mother.  I was then able to go visit my mother and go over everything with her we made changes and now she has a complete book for all of us to use when the time comes.  It will make things much easier for my brothers and sister to handle all of the arrangements.

They were prompt and well priced. They also include a little tab that has wildflowers, so if you scatter the ashes or bury your animal, you can put the wildflowers over it. They add those nice little touches to their service.

I was blown away by the level of service provided. They were quick to arrive in the middle of the night (Mr. Tabler himself, not a subcontractor), compassionate, knowledgeable, experienced, and extremely professional. They handled everything, including death certificates and obituaries, very promptly and professionally. They were a blessing at a very difficult time.

It was fine. I wasn't totally satisfied. When I went in there, they didn't have him looking anything like he looked. His coloring was very off and his mouth was shaped oddly. His face was white and his hands were yellow. They put a little bit of makeup on him after I made a comment and then they used lip stick to make his lips a little bit darker. However, they were more of a pink color, looking unusual. All things considered, I wouldn't use them their services again in the future.
