About Us

You can call me your personal pharmacist, a concierge pharmacist, a clinical pharmacist but I am not a dispensing pharmacist, I will not sell you drugs. What we offer through this service is another important component of care to you and your health. We review your medications for opportunities. We ask you not only how you take your medications but also how you feel about them. We want to know what your goals about medications are. For most people that means the fewest number, at the lowest doses with a preference for no medications at all. We support those desires. We also want you to be healthy, to enjoy your life and for you to find balance. We understand why medications are given, how they support your health and we want to help you work with your providers to your benefit. In the past year I have had a lot of personal experience care giving for my mother in law (81 years old) and grandmother in law (106 years old), in our home. We our grandmother to a nursing home last year after 8 months of in home hospice care. She will be celebrating her 107th birthday in April. In addition, to my professional education this experience led me to start a service to provide comprehensive medication reviews as a service to others. If you are interested in setting up a consult we can send you forms on medical history and labs to fill out. (Also if you have medical history forms you’ve already filled out for another provider we will accept those, if anything we need is missing we will ask for it.) An initial visit the fee is $60 for a 30 minute visit or $120 for an hour. We like to have at least one follow up, even if it is just a short follow up to help you identify the next steps for achieving your medication goals. After the initial visit the fee is $50 per 30 minutes and can be broken down into shorter periods. Becoming a patient: You would submit the paperwork ahead of the visit and we’ll go over it prior to the visit. This helps us make sure we discuss anything pertinent, even if you don’t have a question on it during the visit. Also, during the visit we review your questions about your medications and work on a care plan for you to share with your providers. At the end you’ll have a letter about the visit and one for your prescribers about what we discuss (along with the clinical details) to help them work with you to consider adjustments that could improve your health. You also get secure emails.
