    Horrible. overcharged for quality of work. Did not set the cabinets correct to receive dishwasher. Ruined 3 end pieces of the countertops. Ruined the top on two counter tops, 1 with a screw that came up from underneath and set his iron on top of another causing it to bubble , he did not scribe the countertops and left a big gap against the wall. Had no idea what he was doing on plumbing under the sink and 3 months after Mcants installed the plumbing under the sink the hot water line came out of the valve at night causing 15000 dollars in damage. Read his contract CAREFULLY before signing. He cannot be held liable for NOTHING! The contract does say that Mcants will come back and fix any shoddy work that is done which MCANTS REFUSED to do.

    After being away from the home for a work trip, I returned to a home on a Saturday afternoon with no heat and with cold weather and snow approaching.  The inside temp of the home was approx 50 degrees F.  I called Keenan's and they sent a mechanic up from Montrose right away.  He was able to diagnose the problem as a bad ignitor for our forced-air heater, but unfortunately he did not have a replacement in his truck that would fit.  He lit the furnace manually to allow the home to heat, with us both knowing that once the temp reached the thermostat setting it would be off for good again until he could return with the part.  He set out a plan for searching for the part over the rest of the weekend, and checked to be sure I had alternate heat for when the thermostat would shut the heat off again.  I had a couple electric heaters I could use, so we both felt I would be OK if they could secure a replacement ignitor within a day or so.  Monday morning we connected again and they were able to secure a part that would work.  They drove back up, dropped in the new ignitor, showing me how to do it myself in an emergency should it happen again - and recommended that we get a back-up ignitor or two in reserve to keep at the house since it was not a standard size.  The service mechanics and the staff at the office were all understanding, empathetic and professional.

    They give us an estimate of a flat rate for the job.  We found them to be professional, reliable, very courteous, friendly and helpful.  They showed up when they said they would, did the job when they said they would do it.  Sometimes when we get a quote people tag on added charges but with them there were no added charges.  They did the work for the quoted price.

    i called on a Monday morning to see when I could schedule the winter heating plant check, and expected to get an appointment several days away. I was given an appointment for later that same day - which would have been fantastic . . . but when another customer cancelled, Peterson's dispatch person called me and the service engineer was re-deployed and able to come straight away! The service engineer was polite, informative and very thorough. He took apart our forced air heating plant, showed me all the applicable parts and performed all the testing in methodical fashion. After determining the heating plant was operating nominally, he proceeded to clean the internal components and reassemble the unit. Upon inspecting the hot water heater, the service engineer noted that the overflow tank - required by code - atop the water heater was full of water permanently, indicating that the internal bladder had burst and the tank was no longer functioning properly. He gave me some options and pricing, and upon agreeing on a plan, he had all the parts he needed right on his truck and was done removing the old and installing the new in less than an hour. The entire work area was cleaned, and we were ready to get on with our day in record time.
