    Ideal Home Energy
Forrest and his team were professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. We were very happy with their work in our home (they left it as clean as when they arrived). They did a great job insulating our crawl space and attic! We have multiple properties with multiple structures and we look forward to working on these with Ideal Home Energy in the future.

Mr. Boyd Anders called us back on the following day after my wife called him twice to get status. the call was at 4:34 PM on April 19th. He told us that he struck out on replacement parts and that Brandt the supplier was looking for an aftermarket burner unit to fix the boiler. He stated the cost would be about $3,000.00 at this time. We then requested him to provide us with an estimate to replace the boiler. The company web site says they provide free estimates. On April 20th at 3:07 PM he called us to provide an estimate for $15,314.59 to replace the boiler. This is after contacting us to get the previous bid as Leann, his office manager could not find it. My wife did provide him back with her written notes. I also contacted other vendors for quotes. I had one in my hand for $8,5000.00. During our conversation with Mr. Boyd Anders, I inquired about the type of boiler and what was the price for the boiler. He said it was Peerless boiler and it cost $6,000.00. I asked him if I could order it direct off the internet as I found the exact boiler for $3,000.00 delivered to my house and he got upset and stated that I was destroying his margins. Our conversation from this point on was not particularly productive as I was able to determine that he marked up his materials 100% and this was the difference in the bids. The next day I contacted his office and told them I decided to go with another vendor. He then sent me a bill for $522.50. The details of the invoice is $95.00 trip charge, 1 hour at $95.00 for April 18th and 3 1/2 hours at $95.00 for a total of $332.50 for work performed on April 19th, 20th and 21st. I wrote him a letter and sent a check for $285.00, which represents a trip charge at $95.00, 1 hour of work on April 18th for troubleshooting the boiler and 1 hour at $95.00 for the phone call to Brandt. I sent the letter on May 6th. The check was not cashed and we did not get any response so we called the office twice to get status in late May and June. My wife then sent a text directly to Mr. Boyd Anders and he responded that he was sending us a letter. We received a certified letter from Arapahoe Heating on June 28th saying that he was upset that we did not pay the full invoice. It took him 48 days to send the letter. I have since sent him a certified letter back with my issues and paid him the full amount of the invoice. We obviously used the other vendor and it saved us $6,814.59. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB. I also want to point out that Mr. Boyd Anders provides his cell phone number to most of his clients as he realizes that Leann does not answer the phone regularly. In the other 3 services calls with this company, calls to the office went unanswered and if we did not call Mr. Boyd Anders directly we would have not had him show up. We also paid him over $2,400.00 for 3 service calls with a total of 9 1/2 hours of work. In my opinion, I find his business practices to not be good.

Custom Heating, Plumbing, Air Conditioning, and Electrical Services, LLC

Custom Heating and Air Conditioning installed my 95% efficient furnace about 5 years ago. They have been maintaining it very well ever since. This year my furnace started to intermittently stop functioning. They made at least 3 trips out here to try to fix it. Several parts were replaced under warranty. The last trip I was getting very frustrated since it seemed to stop functioning on our record cold days and they were backlogged with repair calls. (I am sure they were also very frustrated). Finally someone looked at my air intake vent on the roof and found a wasp nest plugging up the air intake. My poor furnace was choking on lack of air! Of course it was snowing at that point so only the easy to get dead wasps and wasps nests were removed. They will be coming back when there is no snow on my roof to clean out both the air intake and exhaust pipe.

It went very smoothly. The air filter had a tight place to fit into. A gas pipe and a water line had to be moved to give the filter space. All this was done with VERY professional workmanship.

    Plumbline Services
The tech arrived early. Hs name was Clinton and he was GREAT. I always want to learn more about my systems so he and I worked the problem together. At first he thought it was a TXV part then the pressures were low, he checked for a leak. Then added R22. Still the problem persisted. Then we got to banging on the value and saw the pressures fluctuate and knew the part was ad. He will finish up on Sat. Hopefully that will be the fix. I will say, there parts and service costs are very high compared to others but time will. Soon tell if it worth the cost.

    Payless Propane
First of all, unlike Amerigas, you have to rent their propane tank to get their gas. We purchased our propane tanks and he actually helped us to do that, to get us a good deal on some used ones. So, we just want the propane and, on that basis, he is so much cheaper than Amerigas. Some people do not want to deal with tank maintenance and stuff like that and in such cases Payless Propane is a way better deal. But some people don't want to deal with it, and if you want to lease your tank from a company than I don't know because I am pretty sure that he doesn't do that. If you own the tank and you are just looking for the propane, then he is the guy; he is on time, is very price competitive, he is cheapest literally. Propane rates will change just like gasoline, but when we priced it, his price was half the price of what Amerigas was. But that is again because Amerigas is charging for the tank as well.

    A & B MECHANICAL HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING
A & B has performed my annual service for 6 years and even installed my system. They have been a screw up from the very beginning and now I find them actually cheating me on an annual basis. I would never use this firm and suggest others run the other direction.

    Mountain Air Comfort Systems
Owner came out and reviewed our situation and made a recommendation as to what type of system to install. Appreciated that he looked at different solutions to provide us the most cost efficient one. Workers showed up on time everyday and worked hard througout the day and the project was completed in the projected timeline. Two of the workers on the project were very good, cleaned up after themselves thoroughly, did good work and did not do any damage in my home...however, the third worker did not clean up well at all, damaged my hardwood floors, and made errors in the installation that WE caught. When this was brought to the attention of the owner, he denied that his workers could have caused any of the damage to the hardwood floors, so my warning/complaint would be that if you hire this company, be sure to take pictures of the areas where they will be (and make sure the picture has a date stamp on it) so that you can prove that this company's workers caused the damage, otherwise, the owners of this company will not only deny that they did it but will  actually argue with you about it and they will do nothing about it.

These people are unresponsive, show poor customer service and I would not recommend them for any service. I asked them for a second opinion on an AC issue and they would not get back to me without a follow up phone call. They said they would call me on Friday or Monday, that didn't happen. Then I called back and no one was available. To top it off, after sending a complaint to the Tom Martino Referral List, they called and said they "could not help me" talk about unprofessional. Now I'm sending a compliant to the American Standard regional rep. saying one of there highly rated customer focused service providers can't even support the American Standard product brand. How's that for a company.....pretty poor if you ask me.

When they came in to clean our ducts, they found a recommendation for our furnace and the duct-work in our house.  They recommended adding an additional return to increase of the airflow in our home, and we noticed
