Todd installed a whole house 16kw generac generator.

Todd and Jody were fantastic to work with! Todd was punctual for each appointment, finished the work on time and went above and beyond so many times. The builder's electrician had messed up the wiring for a sump pump and when the alarm went off, Todd came immediately to the house to identify and fix the problem (even though it wasn't his fault) and he spent time calming my mom down and listening to her since she has had so many problems with the builder and was truly at her wits end. He was calm and compassionate and so far above what I have ever experienced from a trades person. He also walked through in detail the bid after there were questions about how he came up with the proposal price in order to make me feel comfortable, given how expensive it was. He also obtained the generator and all the parts on an expedited basis since we were moving in so quickly and he was flexible with his timing when the retaining wall couldn't be completed on time due to a huge spring snow storm. Todd and Jody made me feel like I was their #1 client. I would highly recommend this firm and will be using them in the future.

We asked to get a quote for various electrical work done throughout the house. Including the wiring of a home theater, adding some fixtures, and changing out new ones.

The quote we received was double and triple other quotes. Just the wiring of the theater system was $2000. This was already $600 more than a quote we received from a high end theater home installation company. Even if you're unfamiliar with the work needed to install a theater system, the price for just changing out an existing ceiling fan was $235. Compared to other reputable electric companies, this simply seemed like price gouging. While they seemed very knowledgeable and professional, the prices were so much higher than others than we could not justify going with them.

Our estimate for the home theater included the following work and was not simply for wiring. It involved an extensive amount of remodel work and materials including: Providing and running wiring for speakers and subwoofer. Providing and installing HDMI cable for projector. Providing and installing mount for projector. Installing ceiling speakers, projector and screen. Identifying network cable locations. The cost for the ceiling fan that was mentioned included removing the old fan, assembling the new one, and installing the new fan as well as installing a switch. The height of the ceiling can affect the cost of installation as well. We do our best to provide competitive pricing along with exceptional craftsmanship provided by knowledgeable and proficient licensed electricians. We warranty our work, and have been standing behind our service for over 10 years.

Troubleshot old wiring, corrected improper connections, wired new outlet.

I was attempting to add an additional electrical outlet in my living room. In the process, I uncovered some wiring that made no sense and, during my work, the old outlet lost power. I called Altitude Electric and the person who answered the phone professionally attempted to problem solve the issue with me, which could have saved me the cost of the service. Unfortunately, we couldn't solve the problem on the phone, so I scheduled for service the next day. Brian came out on time and after a thorough investigation, uncovered the problem with the old wiring and fixed it. In the course of his troubleshooting, he found that I had caused the outlet to lose power. He graciously did not make fun of me, fixed that problem, and installed a new outlet.

Repaired underground fault in main power line running from utility pole to the house.

Because of the fault we only had limited power to house so no water pump , ovens etc. They were very prompt getting to house to diagnose problem. Also because cable was underground they needed services of Fault Finder and Excavator because line was buried deep. They recommended providers of these services and both were very prompt and provided excellent service .

Attempted to arrange a site visit numerous times. Was not flexible or punctual, did not follow though on commitments of providing general information on products, said he would phone to confirm site visit and never did.

Todd Wagner did offer some good ideas at the initial site visit, but trying to get him to finalize the quote process proved impossible. I have decided to move onto a more responsible local company.

Todd had to delay service date because of illness in his family. Arrived on schedule on the rescheduled date and service performed professionally. Still haven't received a promised quote on requested additional work.
