Tree Service reviews in Colorado Springs

  • The work done was excellent! The crew was awesome and did a great job. I highly recommend Advanced Tree Service. My trees have never looked better and I have so much less to worry about come winter. And I am so happy that the juniper bush has been removed, I have hated that thing for years. Thank you Brooks, Steve, Rob and Chris: You guys are awesome!

  • They came out spent about 10 minutes looking around and placed a bid of 1600 dollars. There was no stipulation of time nor how many people would be working, just that all the mistletoe and dead limbs would be removed from all the trees on the property. We have a 2.5 acre lot which I made clear, and most of the trees do not have an issue. I told the person who bid Trevor if he had questions my mother was home. He did not ask where our property extended to, there are property stakes clearly visible. Their company is very familiar with our neighborhood and all the lots are 2.5 acres and up. Anyway they did half the job, left huge piles of limbs everywhere. They are telling me I am being unreasonable and that they did all the work they are going to. They want to be paid in full for a crap job. I have been insulted by their employees "boss man" " unreasonable" and I would never recommend them. Also of note the work crew told my mother when they showed up that they would be done in around 4 hours. Which tells me that Trevor only looked at the trees in the front of the house. All these trees are healthy and they did not cut 1 limb in the front. The front area is also about half the lot and I feel he thought this would be a quick easy 1600 dollars. In fact I think he threw in the dead branch removal to make it look like we got something for our money. In the end there are probably 50 heavily infected trees near the property line, that I did not know about till I was shown by the work crew. It is not my fault they did not spend more time on their bid. However I expect them to honor it, I would and I have honored bad bids on my part. Sometimes you win and the job goes much easier than you expect. Other times you mess up but you have to honor your bid regardless. Honestly had I gotten a bid for 4-5000 I would have bought a chainsaw and cut the infected trees down myself. I hired experts to try and save my trees as it is they have delayed treatment and allowed the mistletoe to go to seed and infect more trees.

  • They arrived on time and well prepared to tackle the huge task of removing a large cottonwood tree from our back yard. They were efficient and very careful to not damage our deck. On the second day, they returned to grind the stump and remove the many large roots of the tree. They did a great job of cleaning up and removing the large amount of wood and debris. All the employees were personable and well mannered. Their price was reasonable. We will continue to use King Tree Service and recommend them highly to anyone needing tree service.

  • They were amazing. I had rocks all around the stump and landscape fabric of which they pulled all rocks back as well as fabric at no extra charge. It was a difficult removal as the rock was so deep, their machine kept hitting rocks. They persevered until they removed it. They then returned all rocks and fabric and cleaned up area beautifully. I was so impressed. Do not hesitate to hire them.

  • Very disappointed! I scheduled Advanced Tree Service to come out to do an estimate on a job (one tree and a few stump removals), we liked their prices, honesty, and promptness to the estimate. It all changed after that... They stated during the estimate they would call us back to get us scheduled and never did. We ended up calling back and scheduled an appointment which was about 3-4 weeks out. Our appointment was slated to be in the afternoon on 16 August. My husband took the day off of work to be home to meet the workers. Here it is quickly approaching 2:00 and nobody has yet showed up nor did anybody call to give a status, apologize for tardiness....nothing. I proceeded to call to get an update and the lady I spoke with had no clue as to what was going on. We hung up so she could call the owner to get an update. A few minutes later, she called back and stated that there was a hand injury of one of the employees during the first job and that it was taking longer than anticipated (completely understandable). However, she then went on to say that nobody would be coming out to my house! No offer to reschedule, nothing. Here we are under the impression for the past month or so, we would finally be able to get some yard work accomplished and beautify our property to be shot down with only an "I am sorry" from the secretary. The owner didn't even have the audacity to phone his apologies to try to make it right. Bad business. I originally chose this company after conducting thorough research, referrals from neighbors and close friends whom I trust completely, and they are local. To be this disrespected is completely uncalled for. I will be taking my business elsewhere and will never refer this company to anybody!!

  • What a wonderful experience from start to finish. Tree Artisans helped us last summer with a neighbor's tree and they were so respectful of our nasty neighbor. We moved to Black Forest last August and inherited a bucket load of diseased pine and fruit trees (27 to be exact) that hadn't been cared for in quite some time. Jack (whom by-the-way should be deemed a National Treasure) came to our home and, quite honestly, spent over two hours accessing the situation. Such a professional! He even spent time with me identifying trees so I would know how to care for them in the future. Work started two weeks later. A young crew showed up and spent two entire days removing dead limbs. Jack and his visiting brother-in-law spent several hours inserting bulbs of much needed nutrients and pesticide into at least 16 trees. The pines perked up almost immediately. The crew worked until almost 7 p.m. on a Friday night. They were so respectful and they even swept the street before they left. Tree Artisans will be our go-to tree experts forever!

  • I have several Elms in my yard that have broken through the years at every heavy snow and wind storm causing much damage to my property as well as the neighbor's. AAA Tree Service came and took the time to walk the property with me showing me the fragile and dead areas which would most likely cause more damage in the future. Mike explained how if I didn't want to remove the trees outright... how trimming and removing some of the branches would lessen the weight and lessen the chances of them breaking off. They spent time trimming the trees down and lessening the load. They took my love for the greenery in consideration and Pruned them to where they will sprout new branches and leaves soon. They were respectful of my concerns and provided honest and excellent service! I would use AAA Tree service again and recommend them to anyone needing any kind of Tree Services, Stump Grinding and for Firewood.

  • Had a tree that didn't look quite as healthy as it should. Called for an estimate, they recommended a deep root treatment. Took forever to schedule, they couldn't give me an estimate as to what time of day they'd show up, asked for a call 10 minutes prior so I could make sure my 4mth old puppies were in the house instead of the yard -- that seemed to be an impossible task for them! Finally got the to say they would try -- they never did. After the treatment, my tree was dead within two months - another arborist told me it appeared to have been burned by the chemicals they used. I told Precision Tree about the result and they took no responsibility. Not only wasted my money but lost a beautiful 3 story high tree. Will never recommend them to anyone.

  • Subpar planting skills, didn't water in, no mulch, no metal border around tree. Will NOT stand behind their work, since they will not honor 1 year replacement guarantee clearly noted on their website! Do not use them!

  • They did a wonderful job. They cleaned up after themselves. They are reasonably priced. He is so honest, polite and really respectful to a senior like me. He does what he said and He said what he does.
