    B & L Plumbing Inc
No work done. Had to pay the trip charge witch was $69.00 Was Insulted by the estimate i was given for approx 1 1/2 hours work $975.00 that's including a $20.00 first time customer coupon. Usually I would do work myself but was pressed for time but ended up doing the work my self anyway. My cost $15.00 I feel if I was a person who did not know anything about plumbing I would have been totally taken advantage of. I will never use or recommend B&L Plumbing to any family or friends.

Nekole is a pleasure to work with. Hardworking, gracious, fun to have around. She is very open to homeowners' ideas for cutting costs and has many great suggestions of her own. Our bathroom was transformed in record time (8 days) with a little bit of help from us--we did some demo work and shopping but not much else. Tiles look great! Other tradespeople on her team are also quick workers, very polite. We are already hiring Nekole again! So much of our home needs her expert attention!

    Rethink Enterprise
They did such an amazing job. They went above and beyond for us. They really listened to what we wanted for a new kitchen and new living room, and they stayed within our budget too. I would definitely recommend Rethink to anyone who was looking to remodel! Every single employee was very respectful and great to work with. Thank you so much for giving us our dream kitchen/living room!

All went well, was a lot of work required . Sink was moved from north wall to a west wall and washer & dryer moved to different area and refrigerator relocated. Is wonderful! Chuck and his crew were very easy to work with.

Everything went according to plan, except for a electrical box that we did not see in the way. It never became an issue because Charles and Tyler just moved it, it was not in the scope of work, but they did not let that slow them down!

Nekole completed a bathroom remodel for me. I am very pleased with the results! Nekole is very easy to work with, she is professional and listens to what you want and makes sure you are in agreement before she starts any work. She also has good suggestions if you are unsure about something. The tile work is beautiful. The work was completed in a timely manner. She also did a partial remodel on another bathroom replacing the vanity, sink, toilet, and moving a wall cabinet.

    Homestead Improvements
Homestead Improvements (owned by Nekole Gudmunson) did a master bathroom remodel for us. It looked poorly done so we got some second opinions. Three general contractors (all tilers), an interior designer, and seven friends (who had all had remodeling work done on their houses) said it was very amateurish (like putting a bull-nose tile in the middle of four regular tiles - see photo below). We hired another general contractor to redo the job. He said that Nekole didnt use any sealant behind the shower tiles and that the shower seat was improperly sloped. Plus, she cut half way down through one of the floor joist, which our engineer said was definitely a bad scenario. Additionally, there was a tear in the rubber liner at the base of the shower our new contractor estimates it would have started leaking in about 3-4 years. Also, as of March 19, 2019, the three reviews at the bottom of her website (by Liza, Rick and Sia) are not hers. They were copied from other websites on the Internet. We do not recommend Nekoles work to anyone.

    Tony's Home Improvement
Tony Seal is one of those nightmare contractors you hear stories about. We hired him to finish our unfinished basement. He gave a great initial impression, spoke about how great his people are, how high quality their work is, how he will be laser focused on our project until it is done, and how reasonable his cost is. It was all untrue. It was quoted as a 6 week project. That was 40 weeks ago and it is still unfinished. We will have to hire someone else to complete our project and he is still holding onto our materials, not answering our calls or texts. Throughout the work he and his guys did (about 90% he wasn't around for and was done by his guys, another thing he lied about), there were constant delays, excuses about someone having an emergency here or there to the point of ridiculousness. There would be long stretches where he would just ignore our calls and texts (there were hundreds of them). And there was sloppy work that had to be redone (much of it still not fixed). They were around when there was the most money still to be paid but just disappeared toward the end. He obviously cares nothing about his customers or his commitments and just simply ripped us off. I highly encourage everyone to use the ratings services (Angielist, HomeAdvisor, theyre both free now) and only go with contractors that are well rated and highly reputable as they care about maintaining their reputation and producing quality. This was a miserable experience that sapped our cash and our energy.

    Springs Home Improvement Co
Springs Home Improvement (SHI) offers poor workmanship. Unless you are willing to settle for this, you have to demand a lot of rework. In our case, all the tile work, pocket door installations, plumbing, electircal, etc., had to be re-done. There were long periods of time when no one showed up to work and there was no communication. When someone did show up to work they would invariably get a phone call from the office and have to leave. They charge for travel time, so all the interruptions add up, not to mention the time they are on the phone. The owner refused to provide line item detail of the hours and materials that he billed us for. Some of their subcontractors were lacking in skill and were difficult to talk to. Bill's Plumbing was unable to install sink pop-up drains that work properly. Mike of Bill's Plumbing took away all 4 of the pop-up drains that I bought (on recommendation of the sink manufacturer) and installed some that he bought, but they leak. He will not return our calls or messages so will not fix the leaking drains or return the expensive drains I bought. The electrician did not assemble the LED fixtures before installiing and got the wiring messed up so they flickered and leaked insulation all over the floor.. He was either talking (and yelling) to himself or on the phone most of the time he was here. We had to hire a competent electrician to re-do most of this work. One of the Springs Home Improvement crew bought the wrong paint and had a large hallway painted with it even though the correct paint was stated by us verbally and in writing.. The floor tile, shower pan and shower tile was installed poorly by Euro Style and had to be completely removed and redone by another sub. He did a better job but left without sealing the shower tile floor. Another Springs Home Improvement worker did the sealing, but must not have read the directions because it is all white and cloudy looking. We were sent to Planet Granite to select counter top. Planet Granite did not template the sinks correctly, so they didn't fit when they tried to install. Since they had already grouted the counter, they ground down the stone in place, creating a huge mess of rock dust that settled throughout the house. They vacuumed a little but they weren't very thorough. Over 8 months of off and on work and they were unwilling to complete the project and correct mistakes and threatened legal action if we didn't pay a final invoice. The owner claimed we had a final walk-through, but that event never happened. We have had to hire other contractors to complete the work and fix their final mistakes. They'll claim to want to make things right but don't follow through and then find creative ways of blaming the homeowner.
