    Garbage collection service when provided is fine; however, pickups are missed at times. Contacting customer service to report, reschedule, or request credit results in voicemails and emails that do not address or resolve the issue but rather only suggest that the customer try calling again. Automatic payment cannot be used unless the customer sets an acceptable ceiling for charges above quoted rates, as the quarterly rate increases without notice, 7% over the past year in this case. Rate adjustments over time are understandable, but a kickback of automatic payment due to increased rates results in an aborted payment and late fee. Office employees are pleasant, but handling of customer accounts is inefficient, time-consuming for the customer, and seems to require a Better Business Bureau complaint to resolve the most minor of well-documented issues.

    The recycle was picked up more than once by the trash collector. When I spoke with person in the office they said they would talk to the waste collector but the problem still occurred. I don't spend my time separating trash from recyclable material just to have it put in the trash bin!

    DO NOT USE if your belongings are important to you!!! Went well until the movers arrived. We were assured that the movers would blanket, wrap and move items, in a safe and secure manner, including a 700 pound safe. During the move, they broke some tile in the entry and put several holes/ gashes and in the walls and staircase. After tearing up a door frame, then taking the door off, they decided they had to take a desk through a window. The window frame was bent and the screen was ripped. (previous mover came through the door). They ran out of wrap, padded blankets and paper which added time e.g. money to the job to get additional supplies. Then it was time to unload the 700 pound safe, 5 guys assisted in loading it, but 2 were unloading. The safe was quickly destroyed after falling approximately 3 feet off of their ramp. Kevin Elwood, the owner, was immediately contacted. He called a local safe/ lock company to inspect the damage and advised that it would cost more money to fix the safe, than to replace, in other words, it's now a 700 pound paperweight. While unloading, the movers stood on several items of furniture, including our kitchen table and THREW boxes up on top of one another even though they were marked as Fragile and contained glass items. They also drug wooden furniture across the cement pavement instead is lifting. After several convesations with Kevin Elwood, the owner, he acknowledged the negligence of his employees, but refuses to provide sufficient monetary compensation for the safe.

    Ray came to our home and helped clean out the backyard.  He was very professional and worked hard and quickly!  We appreciated that he took the time to look over his work and make sure he didn't miss anything!  I would definitely recommend him to my friends!

    The guys that came out were wonderful. They couldn't finish it all in the time allowed so they made plans to come back another day. We were also having a new driveway put in and that company came out a day early. Which happened to be the day we had set up with 1-800-got junk. After we all figured everything out, we decided they would come back another day. They then came out for a third time and got straight to work. This time however, they could not park in the driveway AND it happened to be raining. They still got everything done with all the undesirable conditions and just kept saying "this is our job". I was impressed! I would definitely use them again.

    L&L Disposal Service
    This company would pick up the garbage when their trucks were not broken down.  I used them for 6 months.  I had to call them at minimum 6 times to find out why my garbage was not collected on the day it was supposed to be collected (Thursday).  Sometimes they had forgotten, sometimes "the truck was broken down".  If I got voice mail the box was ALWAYS full.  On at least two occasions I called on Thursday when I got home from work, and then again on Friday when I got home from work.  They finally picked up my trash on Saturday.  I live in bear country.  This means- bringing the trash in at night & hauling it back to the curb the following morning every time "the truck broke down.  
    I never got an apology, just....a call to find out when/where they guys were, then a call back to tell me that they would pick it up later that day, or the next day.  (And sometimes they would, sometimes they wouldn't.)
    The one good thing I will say about this company is if I was outside when they came by, the guys on the truck were very nice, polite, and occasionally would bring my can to my house on a windy day instead of leaving it to blow down the street.
    Would I use this company again- oh gosh no- You get what you pay for.  I have left this company for a higher cost company to avoid the frustration!

    I called in August to start service in September 2015.  I called again before the end of August as I had not heard back and the person I talked to said they had no record of my first call.  She did set up for my trash to be picked up starting September 4, 2015.  I just got my statement and the charges are for 4 months!  I called and the woman that answered the phone told me that new customers are always charged 4 months for the first billing.  I was not told this at any time and am not happy about this surprise. They need to let new customers know what their first bill is going to be!

    Provider did not give any response on 2, 3, 4 or 5 June when I called.  so, on 5 June, I cancelled my service, and asked for a refund of the $113.77 that I had just paid on 1 June.   

    Still no response from them, but on 15 June they said they had cancelled my service.  Again, I told them that since they no longer picked up my garbage, I wanted it stopped, and wanted a refund.   They again agreed to cancel my service, but that they did not give refunds.

    Watch out for this company.  Maybe the entire office staff is on vacation, or maybe they are just incompetent.

    We had excellent, reliable service until the time we had to terminate service with L & L due to a move out of state.  I called to cancel services two weeks prior to moving out of state in November of 2014.  Marci (the receptionist) told me services were canceled.  I then received a bill 2 months later for the next three months of services.  I called to cancel and Marci assured me she had canceled the services this time.  Here it is, April, and we received another bill.  I called and Marci claimed she couldn't cancel our account.  She was rude, unprofessional, and confrontational.  When I asked for a written confirmation that our services had been cancelled, she said no that she was telling me they had been.  When I prompted again for written confirmation she hung up on me.  During the time we lived in CO, L & L provided us with excellent trash service; however, when it comes to customer service, the company is more than lacking.
