Jim and his crew (Kim, Nate, and Jeremy) are nothing short of incredible! Great service from start to finish, coming in under schedule and with a finished product I couldnt possibly be happier with. Our basement is a space I will treasure for years to come. Their work ethic, responsiveness, craftsmanship and overall professionalism are exactly why I would never consider going with anyone else in the future. They are like members of the family! Thank you!

Framing went great. We had issues with drywall but got it mostly resolved. We asked to have insulation put in between the rooms and it wasn't done. We ended up repainting the whole basement. We paid upfront for flooring to be finished and bathroom fixtures to be installed. The contractor randomly showed up a few hours at a time for an entire month. He did 60% of the floor and never showed up again. We had to pull up 50% of the Tile floor he did because it didn't set properly. We asked the contractor to refund us the remainder of the money for us to finish the job and he said he didn't have any money and that he was bankrupt.

Jim's crew kept us on time and we were able to move into the house almost to the very date that we had scheduled. He has checked with us several times since we moved in jut to make sure everything was working as it should.. Our total cost with Jim directly was in the $100,000 range and they itemized every detail that they handled. Our daughter is an interior designer by education and is licensed and she said all of Jim's people were easy to work with and very professional.

Mike provided consistent, high quality work from start to finish.  Measured, ordered, and installed custom windows.  Project was not easy, as the home is older and has many quirks.  However, he was able to accommodate the challenges!  Did an especially great job removing and replacing window whose frame was completely rotted, and thus the entire area around the window needed rebuilding.  New windows looks fantastic, as does the trim.  Looks better than I could even imagine!

Mike Pope did a fantastic job installing laminate flooring in two kitchen areas.  Both spaces had worn out, dingy looking vinyl.  Mike's work was top quality, and the new floors look terrific.  Replaced the moulding and trim as well, which also look great. He worked quickly, professionally, and on budget.  Great attention to detail, which shows in his work.  Look forward to hiring him for other projects in the future.

Very professional and reasonably priced. Work was completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Have used Pope Carpentry for other services as well, including fence restoration, building a deck, and custom built-in shelving unit. All projects have been completed thoughtfully, with attention to detail. Would highly recommend this individual, as he is attentive to customer serivce and provides high quality work.

TREVINO CUSTOM DRYWALL & PAINTING, INC.
Joe had the unfortunate task of cleaning up after a homeowner who finished his own basement rather inaptly and another contractor who "thought" he could remedy the situation. When Joe was done, the room showed no signs of the conversion, and was transformed into a wonderful space for guests. Since this is the room I often inhabit at my daughter's, I am delighted!
Unlike many contractors, Joe reports for work promptly at 8 AM each morning, works a full day, is very respectful of your home, leaves a clean workspace every day, and most of all, does beautiful work!

5/19/2014 Aurora drove from Denver area to give quote on install of master closest - very professional, detailed, and pleasant to work with included access to drawings of closest layout. Another bidder refused to provide drawings making compariosn between 2 vendors products impossible. Ultimately chose Space Solutions because quality and drawings.

Everything from the consultation to the install were great. The designer, Debbie was right on time and even followed up with us prior to our appointment to ensure we were still ready for her to come in and do our consultation. She came up with a great design which worked wonderfully for our limited walk-in closet space. The design created so much more room for all of our things and makes it appear much less cluttered. The installers arrived right on time and began work immediately. Everything was completed to our satisfaction and looks fantastic. Yes, it was rather expensive but far worth the end result. We could not be happier with everything.

    Handyman Connection of Colorado Springs
The framing the walls went pretty well and on schedule for the most part. The framing included 3 doors to include a pocket door which we were assured would not be an issue. However, when the time came for the door installation it was found to be impossible for the door to fit. Very disappointing! Code inspection passed. The drywall portion was a different story. This was to be a a week long project to include hanging the drywall and tape and flote of the seams. We had scheduled the electrician for the 5th day. At the start of the 3rd day, we asked if we were on time so the electrician could be notified if not. We were assured we were as he had help coming. Two people came to assist at times, to include his dad for the tape and floating. Another man came to assist for about 8 yrs over 2 days. On the 5th day wew were sure he was not on time. The electrician arrived to work and left after about an hour as he said he could not go further until the Handyman portion was complete. The electrical inspection was canceled. We had a talk with the handyman. We asked him how many hours of work he needed to pass inspection. He said about 8 hrs. We told him he could work Saturday morning and have Monday, as we are off Mondays. That was what we thought was agreed to. I placed a call to the office the next day to ask where he was. I was told the handymen don't work weekends. We came to agree he would work Monday and then Tuesday if need be to complete the job. He used both full days with only 1 coat of mud and some of the fabric seams still showing. We applied the second coat and made the walls paint ready. Due to a holiday, by the time we had final inspection, we already had the walls primed and painted. Our issue is that we were given best case times. For large projects be prepared for delays. These guys are handymen not general contractors. Our man also did not have a contractors card for Home Depot which would have saved customers more. I don't know why he didn't get one. We have a sour taste after this time with Handyman. We had a very positive experience before.
