Cell Phone Service reviews in Colorado Springs

  • They have good service everywhere.  There’s not a whole lot of dead spots which is nice.  They have unlimited plan for a long time which really benefited us.  Two years ago when we renewed our plan, they gave us unlimited plan.  We didn’t know until that time and we didn’t know what kind of impact it will have on us.  It’s about a $100 extra every month.  So on price I will give them a “C”.

  • It is a no contract phone. I have been with them for years and I have been pleased with it. Their charge is really flexible. You just choose the amount of minutes you want and pay for that amount. So, it is quite reasonable. You can change your program at any time; that is flexible.

  • We told the lady who greeted us near the front door that both of our cell phones (Samsung Galaxy S-III) were having problems with  the battery charge lasting for the whole day even with minimal usage. That lady did the software upgrade right after we walked-in. The upgrade has extended the length of time the battery maintains a charge.
Cell phone signal strength can be an issue at times. We look forward to Sprint installing 4G service in our area.

  • The man who helped me was very knowledgeable and fast when I switched to Sprint from the Nextel network.
I was back another time and the lady who tried to help solve my question about the Sprint Navigation was unable to help me even after consulting a manager. Seems they did not know what the Sprint navigation really even did.
The service coverage for Sprint is very poor compared to the old Nextel service.

  • I had been with AT&T Cellular for over ten years, really without problems, however when I moved into my new home there was NO Cell service with AT&T.  The insisted that there WAS cell service, but to the best of my knowledge never actually came to this area to check.  I had ongoing phone calls with myriad people for at least two months, for a total of at least 12 hours on the phone with them.  They sold me a micro cell for my home, which only worked sporadically.  I finally decided to change carriers as Verizon could provide service.  I went the rounds with AT&T but ended up having to pay a $276.00 early termination fee.  My thoughts are we had a contract, they were to provide service, and I was to pay for it.  Theyu did NOT live up to their end of the contract, as they could not provide service, however I was still charged the early termination fee.

  • Everyday I have dropped phone calls, there's no 4G network in Colorado Springs. I'm in the military and I did a contract, I followed all their rules, when I deployed for 6 months to have it turned off and they didn't turn it off the way they were supposed to, they just went ahead and cancelled it like I broke the contract so when I came back, even though I did all the paperwork I was supposed to do to have it turned back on. You have to do a whole bunch of paperwork if you deploy, you can't be like, "Hey, I'm deploying, I need to turn it off for 6 months," and then I would turn it back on. They don't make it easy and they didn't do any of the deployment paperwork that I did with them over the phone, they didn't enter it in as me being deployed. It took me an entire day getting it fixed and talking to 20 different people to finally get it fixed and I still was dumb enough to buy a phone. I got a new phone and extended my contract, that's my own fault, I should never done that, I should have walked over Verizon right after that. Iphone5 is not that good unless you have a 4G network and I paid to have a 4G network but they didn't tell me at the store. I have unlimited phone calls that drop. They're the ones who told me that they didn't really have a good 4G network in Colorado Springs and that was after I got a new phone. I wouldn't have got it if I would have known. For the price, it should be $10 a month because it's no good. If I could get out of this contract right now, I would.

  • ATand T considers this area "Marginal Coverage" when you complain. They've sent a technician through the neighborhood to verify that everything is nominal, but I don't think they're considering another tower to help with this problem.
My advice to anyone and everyone is to complain, regardless of the Carrier, if you have similar problems. Eventually, they'll have to make improvements. If you are considering ATand T or any cell phone provider, make sure you are satisfied and assured that you can conduct normal business, socialize and or make a call in the event of an emergency - Otherwise, you are wasting your money.
ATand T Customer Service was very sympathetic and understanding, but they can't do much to help. The people that I've dealt with on the phone have been very professional and supportive.

  • I switched to Cricket from Verizon for my SmartPhone service. The price is half what Verizon charges with all the same great features--Nationwide, Data, Messaging, Visual Voicemail, etc. i got a new ZTC smartphone for only $79.99.
I had TERRIBLE reception with Verizon, and actually had to get a landline to hear calls. Plus, the HTC Incredible had terrible sound.
Cricket coverage is amazing; more bars than I ever got before. I could NOT be happier with the switch. Plus, their customer support and service is great. Thanks, Cricket!!

  • I have internet and cell phone service through Verizon. I don't have a limit for internet service through my phone but I do for home internet. The reception on the cell phone is good. Their prices are a little expensive.

  • It is about $65 a month. Some times you lose the service in this area. You just have to move to a different location.
