    Milagro Contracting
THEME - Over budget, behind schedule, embarrassing quality, questionable business ethics I hired Milagro to install a basement bathroom under the guarantee of top quality and timeliness. Neither were achieved. In terms of quality, Greg and team broke the corner off a shower wall and installed anyways - thinking I would not notice. Additionally, instead of properly installing the mirror that I purchased for the vanity, they rushed and screwed right through the frame (and off-center from the vanity, I might add). Greg also included a linen closet in his initial plan for the bathroom, but that was never installed. The paint job was CLEARLY rushed with trim not taped off, ceiling partially painted, and drip marks peppering the walls. Although I paid for two dumpsters, Greg's team left bags of debris in my garage for me to dispose of myself. I have repeatedly reached out to Greg and Cyndi to address these issues and I am always promised that Greg will "call (me) tomorrow." I have not heard from him in weeks. Greg even asked that I do not reach out to his business office to inform them that his team did not show up one day because it "would cause confusion." I foolishly complied, hoping performance would improve - but the job is still not done. As a young home owner, it took a considerable amount of saving to afford the bathroom build - money wasted. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your contracting needs.

    On Point Home Pros LLC
When I decided to replace 4 kitchen appliances, I had no idea how difficult it would be. Finding products that would fit without major modifications to my cabinets or counters was a challenge. GE proved to be the products that fit best, but I called On Point to install them because they said they specialized in fit. They did a great job and didn't have to make any cuts to cabinets or counters with the exception to the brace mentioned above. I am very happy John was able to work this out. I really did not have to buy a different dishwasher. The same day service was an added bonus. On Point is my go to appliance service company from now on.

    Rios Painting
I came home from work today and all I could say was "Wow." If I had known it would look this good, I would have done it sooner. They left their trash in my trash can, which I took to the street since pickup is tomorrow. There were a few small bits of tape on the house, but everybody misses a piece here and there. I grabbed them and put them in the trash. This was a great deal and the experience has made me decide to have them do some painting inside the house. Another plus for me is that they are not afraid of my dog and they put water outside for her when she went out the doggie door to patrol the yard and watch them work and bark from time to time. She seemed to know they were dog lovers. The cost included the labor, paint, caulk, plastic drop cloths and tape to affix the tarps. For my size house, that was a very fair price.

    Executive Building Contractors inc
Too early in the process to judge.  However, from three different contractors I selected Al and appreciate his responsiveness to my budget needs and his patience and input in dealing with the project planning phase.  We start construction Jan 6 and expect the project to last 4-6 weeks.  I'll give a final grade then

    Stellar Painting & Remodeling
I woke up one Sunday, looked at our 30-year-old master bath and got out the saws-all! After the demo, I contacted Stellar Remodeling. Jack came out to do an estimate and gave us great ideas and advice about how to proceed in both the master and powder bath rooms. He presented many options, including several we had not thought of, but without any hard sell. The Stellar crew (John and Denise) were great -- very professional, prompt, courteous, skilled, and did top quality work. The minor issues, surprises, and additions that always come up were dealt with easily and to our satisfaction. Jack's original estimate was right on target. In the end, we could not be happier and if I ever take a saws-all to the kitchen we'll call Jack first thing!

    Honey Do Man
Mark returned my call immediately.  He was responsive, itemized each request and sent us a bid in writing.  He completed each project quickly, professionally, expertly and under budget.  Working with Mark was a great experience.

    Stellar Painting & Remodeling
Their handyman was bright, efficient, creative and communicative.  He was also punctual and did an even BETTER job than we imagined on nearly every item.  It took a little longer in labor hours due to a couple unanticipated glitches because the house is so old - but they communicated with us thoroughly about these issues and were very conscientious and respectful of our budget.  We could not be more happy with their work and are already asking them to come back and do more work for us.

    Stellar Painting & Remodeling
I am very pleased with the work from both Stellar Remodeling and Stellar Painting. Both division leaders (Jack and Guy) had great suggestions and were professional and knowledgeable. The people who work for the company are punctual, conscientious and hard workers. The inevitable surprise problems were handled quickly and managed well. I felt very comfortable with everyone in my house and they did a great job. My little old lady 50's house is transformed into a beautiful house for my family to enjoy. I highly recommend Stellar.

    A To Z Handyman Services
He was recommended by a neighbor mostly because he was a nice guy and he always said that he was a "professional". I hired for multiple jobs which always took more time than estimated (much more). He had a tendancy to be more focused on getting more jobs than completing what he started. His electrical work was good. He included wallpaper removal in 1 bathroom which dragged on for more than a week when finally I took it upon myself to remove what was still a majority of the paper doing so in 1 day. Needless to say he dragged this process out either because he didn't know the best approach to do the removal. The way he did the walls - texture and paint (popcorn texture) was outdated and amateur / sloppy in result. Since I was not home most of the time he did most of his tile cutting within the house that took weeks to clean out of curtains an carpets as well as paint. The tile work was not professional with grout lines uneven spacing and decorative pieces not straight. Chipped my new bathtub that he installed and then to make matters worse splashed shiny grout sealer on the tub and cracked the tub where he installed the over flow but claimed that it was beyond the work warranty. The crack was hidden under a thin layer of grout that made the crack unseen until cleanup. He always wanted money before the job was completed. He dragged out the finishing of the job started with the constant refrain of if you find flaws put blue tape on the spots. I had so many blue tapes which he constantly removed when he would start to fix but didn't complete that the blue tapes were a joke of repeats. I had initially been a reference for his web site thinking he would live up to my expectations - not! I guess I tolerated less than professional results because it was better than what it was before he did the work. He did pick up all of the supplies I bought and delivered to the house. Can't count how many times I had to drive to Home Depot or Lowes to pick up what he needed for the job (plumbing, grout, pipes) as well as reruns to the store because he had the wrong parts. I would have to say that I was wrong about my initial impressions and would not hire or recommend A to Z Handyman Services. I already know that I will have to have some of the work that was done - redone.

We were having our bathroom remodeled and we had a plan of action. This guy did not follow the plan of action we had laid out. The walls were not plumb. They were the wrong dimension. The tub was not squared off. The pocket door was 1 inch too wide. He didn't put a door stopper in the drywall. The tile grout line were too small and showed every flaw. He didn't put a valve in for the tempter regulating. He did however remove the tile that we didn't like. But then never came back to fix anything.
