  • The service was top notch! The owner replaced the belt while I waited and did not charge any labor. He told me what parts were still available (my vacuum is quite old) and which were not. He explained that putting on a new belt may lead to the ball bearings failing in the brush due to it turning a lot faster than it did with the old (stretched) belt and that unfortunately, the brush is no longer made. It was great to be educated while my vacuum was being fixed.
    I would recommend his business highly. Note: The sign on the door says "Best Vacuum" but it is really Arapahoe Vacuum.

  • This is the first review I've ever been compelled to write and I could easily make it ten pages about my experience, but the short answer... I learned that this family has already been put out of business once for bad practices and even though they've reopened under one son's name and changed the business name, they haven't learned their lesson & I hope the District Attorney goes after them again soon!

  • I knew about this place because some years back I'd stumbled across it  when my father in law needed parts for an old vacuum.  The owner knew exactly the part we needed, ordered it in, gave detailed instructions for installing it, and charged very reasonably.
    Recently our 4 year old vacuum quit working. We figured we'd drop it by Best Vacuums, and pay for a fix if it was simple, or junk it otherwise.  Instead, a couple days later the owner called to say he'd taken the machine apart, diagnosed the problem (burned out motor), called the manufacturer with the serial number, discovered the thing was still under warranty (who knew?), ordered a new one shipped to his store, and he was sorry but it would take a week till it arrived.
    A week later he called. We picked up the new machine. He wouldn't let us pay.

  • UGH I wish I had looked here before taking my vacuum in. Dyson sent me to them to fix my vacuum. The lady never mentioned that they had a backlog otherwise I would have turned right around and walked out. 1 week later I call to see whats going on and they tell me that its another week before they even LOOK at my machine.
    Dyson advised me to get my machine back and go elsewhere. I go to pick up my vacuum to be told that its in Thornton and no idea when they can get it back to me. After voicing my frustration she crossed her arms told me my vacuum would be returned when its returned and that they don't need my business. I'm sure they wont have that attitude if many people complain to Dyson and their contract is pulled. To basically be called a liar that they tell EVERYONE how long their backlog is just insulting, who in their right mind will wait 2 weeks before their vacuum is even looked at.
    I was so mad I thought I was going to throw up! 0 stars and another complaint will be filed to Dyson.

  • I had a great experience with Treg and Arapahoe Central Vacuum.  After submitting an inquiry online, Treg contacted me on a Sunday to arrange an appointment.  He was very responsive and very flexible in his schedule.  Upon arriving at my home, Treg got right to work evaluating our central vacuum system which was apparently not used by the previous owners.  In a matter of minutes, Treg had the vacuum running and began testing the various outlets to make sure everything was in working order.  Despite being an older system, Treg informed us that he believed the motor was still in good condition.  He made a minor repair to the gasket which holds the tank in place.  We were thrilled that we didn't need to buy an entirely new system.  Treg provided us with a quote for a new hose, attachments and updated covers for the outlets.  I found his pricing to be very fair and his service was excellent.  I would recommend Treg and Arapahoe Central Vacuum without hesitation.  Thanks Treg!

  • TOOK MY VACUUM INTO THIS STORE AT APPROXIMATELY NOON AND THEY HAD COMPLETED THEIR EVALUATION AND CALLED ME AFTER ONE HOUR FROM DROPPING OF THE VACUUM. I VERIFIED THAT I WANTED THE REPAIRS DONE AND THEY HAD MY VACUUM READY FOR ME TO PICK UP IN 30 MORE MINUTES. A WEE BIT EXPENSIVE I THOUGHT.
