We have had to pay a different contractor to come back through, rip out Forrests work, and re-do it. This because of things like electrical boxes not attached and coming out, walls not attached to the floor, shoddy materials, bad plumbing, etc. His work was just good enough to *look* like it was good unless somebody looked closely. Then it self destructs after a year or two. Very little of his shoddy work still remains.

He charged us a lot and they cheated on us, I would not use them again. DO NOT USE THEM! They took our money and used it for their personal use. My basement is still not done, he used to bring his under 18 year old daughter and like 14 year old son to do the flooring so it was totally messed up and not even. He did the painting by himself but he messed it up too and for the electrical socket he used a mis-matched color, it was totally mis-aligned .And I actually selected two sets of tile, a slippery tile for the wall and a non-slippery tile for the floor and he switched it.

Very professional. Good communicator. Accommodating and overall good guy. The real deal! Tom is very conscience and respectful about the budget. He finished a comprehensive home repair project in a timely manner and provided workable solutions when problems arose that saved money. I definitely will be hiring Tom again when needed.

    Charlie's Handyman Services
NEVER EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY! We contracted with CHS (Ashley Coates and Charlie Webster) back in March 2019 to do a lot of home renovation items for us. Such things as re-finishing our basement (new drywall, some new flooring, etc.), painting pretty much the entire home interior, installing new interior doors, removing an old attic fan, installing a new main floor banister, installing new basement windows, etc. We had assumed it might take 2 to 3 months to finish it all. SIX MONTHS LATER THEY ARE NOT FINISHED. I cannot even remember all of their excuses for not coming in to do work some days, why they often only arrived by mid to late afternoon, or why they usually did not respond to most texts or phone calls. There were car troubles (including accidents), cell phones lost or not working properly, they were out of town and did not get our messages, deaths in the family, and even many medical emergencies. Some of the work they actually accomplished looks, so far, as to be okay, but much of what they did either remains unfinished or in need of a LOT of touch-ups and rework. A truly aggravating habit of theirs is to almost finish one room/area, but then move onto another room/area and never get back to finishing the prior room/area. We have rooms that are not fully done, doors that are not fully installed, a stairway where trim was installed on one side but never the other side, and other areas that we were told were all done only to find out that they did not completely do all they said they had done (they lied); an example of this is with the removal of the attic fan, where they told me that they had made sure to put new insulation in the attic over the areabut they didnt. We have also seen that, since they started work for us, a number of similar, extremely bad reviews have been posted about them. It looks like the Better Business Bureau also revoked their accreditation after we had already hired them (I have NEVER seen THAT before!).

We do not like giving ratings, however we do not want others to go through this. Charlie does not have the skill, common courtesy, punctuality or professionalisms to be in business. We set up a time of 9 to 5 to work on the basement not once was he here at 9am and work until 5. He would say he would be here at 9 am but never once showing up at that time. On the days he did show usually in the afternoon if he showed up work for a bit and leave to go to lunch/dinner or Home Depot saying will be right back with sometimes returning and sometimes not but not giving you the common courtesy of a text or call. He had more excuses than we have ever entailed for one person. Truck broke, phone was dead, phone broke, trailer with tools confiscated with his tools by the police. Charlie was gone 3 days not calling or texting with us waiting waiting not returning our phone calls or texts. We even called his significant other aka business phone. We were told they were in Texas and did not have good service. Ashleys young daughter texted us after day 2. Time line was 3 weeks it took about 2 months. We got him from Angies List He requires 50% down so you are stuck. And if people get frustrated and tells him you are fired he just a lien on your house or so he told us concerning 2 other customers. His work is so shoddy as per the pictures. He says nut covers a lot of the imperfections. UGH. window casings, beam and pole had ~~~. The beam and the window casings were all off the worse was one window 2 off and the beam 2 off my husband told Charlie they had to be fixed both were kinda fixed not off as much. We had to pay to get trim up around windows and beam. UGH. Our painters obviously a different company did a lot of extra work to even paint. I think you have the idea so I will close letting you know we are so happy this nightmare is over.

    Revolution Remodeling LLC
We have used this contractor over the last several years to remodel bathrooms, a kitchen, a laundry room, and lots of custom requests such as a mudroom and built-in shelving units. They always do an outstanding job and are priced fairly. They are clean, efficient, honest, and good at solving problems that arise during remodeling. Ziggy, the owner, has extensive construction knowledge in all areas. I would not use anyone else!

Fantastic! Joshua was great to work with, from communicating his process, providing detailed information on the build and being on-time ready to go. He worked on patching up walls, fixing previous contractor work, window sills, base boards, ensuring a safe environment and identified potential areas to consider improving while explaining the importance of his recommendations. The overall experience was easy and exceptional! I'd hire him again.

    JH Basement Finish
SUPERB is the best way to describe the team at JH basements. All around this team was a pleasure to work with on my basement project. I finished just over 1,500 SF of space in my basement. The quality of workmanship was VERY high. From proposal through to completion, the process was well orchestrated by their project scheduler Jessie Hannah. In addition, the overall construction team from framing, electrical, plumbing and finishing (walls, paint, trim, etc.) were all excellent. Most importantly they were respectful of my house when entering and exiting each day and they kept the workspace as clean as possible. They also kept on target to the proposed scheduled timeframe to finish my basement and I passed every building inspection on the first pass. I would recommend the team at JH basement to anyone. I consistently receive compliments on how beautiful and well done my basement looks. Anytime I hear of someone contemplating a basement project I quickly throw out JH Basements as someone to consider. They are FANTASTIC!

    Dixon's Custom Home Solutions
Dave and Corey were great to work with. Very professional and personable. We had them do a pretty wide variety of work, from adding a room to a finished basement (with a pretty complex herringbone floor pattern), to installing marble tile in a bathroom, installing an intricate travertine backsplash in the kitchen, canned lights and pendants in the kitchen, and a variety of other smaller tasks. All work was high quality (Dave is the owner, and is involved in all of their projects. He takes a lot of pride in his work, and it shows in his results). Pricing was great (we compared them against several other bids), especially considering the quality of their work. I highly recommend Dixon's Custom Home Solutions, and will be using them for future projects myself.
