  William Frew, the owner of the company, visited my house first in order to assess the condition of both my old gas water heater and my old solar water heating system which had a badly leaking storage tank. After comparing the cost of replacing both tanks as well as future costs of maintaining the old solar water heating system, we decided that it was time to upgrade to a self-contained, tankless, on-demand gas water heater.  We scheduled the 2-day installation for the following week.
  One very nice thing that William did free of charge during his visit was to unclog my basement floor drain which had never drained properly for over 50 years.  William also noticed that our furnace was noisy and needed cleaning, so we also scheduled that for the following week.
  Technician Giber Sais did an absolutely first-rate job of removing the old water heater and solar water heating system, and then installing the new tankless water heater.  It was a really big job for just one person, but Giber worked quickly and thoroughly from start to finish.  He was very careful to not make a mess when removing the old systems, plus he kept the periods when we were without water pressure to a minimum, and he was very courteous to lets us know in advance whenever he would need to shut the water off.  I also was very impressed by his knowledge and understanding of the new tankless water heater.
  Technician Jared Herrman did a great job of cleaning out my furnace and A/C system, and he talked me through everything he did as he performed the work.  I was very impressed by his knowledge of heating and cooling systems, and he gave me clear, complete answers to all of my questions.  While cleaning the A/C coils he noticed the smell of a small gas leak coming from the gas control valve in the furnace.  He promptly repaired the leak with a new application of Teflon tape and joint sealer.
  I'm so glad that I discovered Sunshine Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning through Angie's List.  I couldn't be more pleased with the work their company has done for me.

  They were very professional and have done above and beyond. As my AC was death, I need to install the new AC immediately, but unfortunately they (Custom Heating) couldn't install the new system right away, and it was still a hot summer weekend, besides we were going to have guests in our home in that weekend. Fortunately, they proposed to instal a temporary AC (as this is much easier and quickly to install) free (no charge at all) to get my home cold to avoid any inconvenient for the guests to stay in our home, until they can install the new system. I am very grateful with these solutions and it's a win-win situation in this case. After the weekend, they install all the new system (AC + Furnace), at they do it so professionally and I am glad that I have chosen them to install our new system.   Doug went above and beyond expectations by installing an easy shut off and disconnect switch so I can easily store my grill any time I want to. He tested out the grill and discovered the spark generator was not working correctly, so I got on the phone with Weber and ordered a new part through my warranty. Without him testing it out I might have spent a lot of time trying to identify what was wrong with the grill. I am really glad I hired them to do this job.

  We needed a gas line for our barbecue as the house we bought was 20 years old and did not have one.  Our contractor said we had to dig down 18 inches to run a gas line and then his gas guy could do it.  (I think not).
  So we went online and found The Gas Company who stated they specialize in running BBQ gas lines.  They came out and ran the line above the garden and attached it under the brick molding.  There was no tearing up of the garden, etc.  They finished in a couple of hours and we were barbecuing that evening.  Terrific group of guys who know their stuff.

  I called Ross when my gas/CO detector alarm went off in my home. I asked him to repair a drain in my basement at the same time. Ross returned my call immediately and offered to come over and check out the gas leak even though it was 9:30 p.m. He determined that there was a leak, turned off the furnace, and assisted me in opening the doors and windows for a short time to make the home safe overnight. He repaired the drain at the same visit. When the first furnace repair person did not identify a leak the next day, Ross encouraged me to call another company for a second opinion. When that company identified the leak, he stayed in touch with their repairman and me throughout the two day process of the repair (A part had to be ordered and send by FedEx). It was an extremely cold period of time and I purchased a portable heater for our bedroom areas. Ross insisted on bringing me two additional heaters the second night for the other two floors in my home in order to assure that we would not have problems with pipes freezing. He made an extra trip without charge to deliver the heaters. All in all, Ross went above and beyond to be sure that our home was safe and that we were as comfortable as possible throughout the repair process. This is the second time I have called MasterBlasters and I will continue to use this company!
