    I could not be more impressed with quality, responsiveness, professionalism we received at a fair price from NetZero. In the beginning of my quest for energy efficiency, I mistakenly hired another provider who did our energy audit. I had NetZero inspect and finish the sealing work that was supposed to be completed by that other provider. NetZero did a great job after confirming my concerns and alerting me to specific problems and incomplete work from the other group. Then I had NetZero blow in insulation to R55. We are now enjoying a huge difference in the comfort of our home. My only regret was not hiring NetZero in the first place. I also really like the fact that the owners Sean and Ryan Donnell are onsight bidding the work and managing the project quality and completion first hand. What a difference that makes! It is hard to beat a small business owner who is dedicated to customer service and passionate about the work they provide. Their support crew was focused and upbeat about their work. A high level of attention was also paid to cleanliness while working. I would hire them back in a heart beat.

    Horrible. 1) David and Cory replaced the window sills both inside and out with wood that we never approved of. The outside sill has the smooth side facing down, and the caulking was put on during the rain. We were told we would have to replace it because the water ran off the seal that was caulked. The inside window sills are not finished with the edges not painted or sanded. 2) While it was raining, both men walked in and out of our house onto our new carpet with their shoes on; tracking in mud, water, and debris. 3) Every location they worked on was left in a mess. There was trash from their lunch, sawdust in the vents and carpet, our couch covered in sawdust, and we are still finding debris (wood chips, insulation, paint...) in the front lawn. This mess took us over an hour to clean ourselves. 4) While they were installing the front exterior door, the front was scratched, so they had to run to the store to buy us a new one due to their mistake. However, either the new door they bought came with a knick or they damaged the door during the installation. 5) While they were working on our door, a window salesman came in to give his free estimate. After the window salesman left, both handymen gave their own window sales pitch and recommendation for an hour. We did ask for a quotation on the windows, but were not informed that we would have to pay for it plus any additional unwarranted advice. A basic quote would have been fine, not hearing all about the awards their family owned business has received. We were still charged $80/hour per person for this time spent talking with us. 6) In addition, their lunch break and home depot run (for the door they damaged and other materials) took 2 hours, but according to their time check-in the lunch break was only 30 and the home depot run was 1 hour. Also according to their records, they did not clock out at the end of the day until 20 min after they had left our home. We know this because we called at 6:36 PM to complain about the knick in the door, and the secretary asked us why we did not tell David and Cory ourselves since they were still in our house according to their time sheet. 7) After all these complaints, we conversed 4 times and received no compensation, no recommendations, and no help to correct their mistakes. David's wife told us that they would come back to re-caulk the windows - they never did, so I had to buy the caulk to do it myself with rain in the forecast. She also said they would have only been willing to give us 45 dollars back for "being a pain in our a**", when we would have appreciated some compensation for the additional time at HomeDepot buying the door they had to replace AND the hour spent discussing windows with us. We received ZERO dollars back for any of these issues we discussed. Lastly, I asked both via text and over the phone for a receipt of the 260 dollars spent on materials for our project - never received any evidence of the items they purchased. They may have charged us for the door they damaged the first time, and we would have no evidence against that. In conclusion, I understand Dixon Custom Home Solutions has received multiple Super Service Awards and great reviews, but from our interactions with every employee, we have seen extremely poor customer service and no element of negotiation skills. In fact, less than 24 hours after the work was completed and before we felt like the sales were final, our check was cashed. When speaking of these frustrations, another comment by David's wife/co-owner was that she believes him to be honest since he has never cheated on her. That was not what we were ever alluding to, we simply wanted the job to match fairly with the compensation.

    Mark at Energy Revolution is a subject matter expert with many years experience in home energy improvements.  I felt confident that his recommendations were based on factual data and were reasonably priced.  Mark is very professional, well kept, and reliable.  I would recommend Energy Revolution to anyone interested in improving the energy efficiency of their home and energy cost savings.

    The professionalism, scheduling, follow through, pricing and work quality from Energy Geeks were all excellent. They did a thorough job on the initial energy audit. At my request they provided several bid options to correct the caulking, knee wall repair, can light leakage, and attic insulation. I evaluated their bid and compared it to other options. Their prices were accurate and fair. At all points they kept me informed on scheduling. They arrived promptly and left the house clean after the insulation install. I highly recommend the company!

    I had a difficult time in trying to connect with them.  Initially, I took a long time to have them come and do an estimate for me.  The number I was given was not working.  I tried the next day and a receptionist advised the lines were not working and the person, who would estimate the job, was not there at the moment.  I was promised a call back the next and they failed to do so.  I then called the next day and the person who was supposed to estimate the job, gave an excuse saying his schedule was changed without his knowledge.  He then advised to check and call back to re-schedule.  I then decided not to use their services, as after so much, they were still not apologetic.

    The gentle was very pleasant and personable.  One unusual thing was that they wanted my husband and me to stay for the estimation process.  They only reason we didn’t go with them was that the other company paid more emphasis on details, thorough and professional.  They were a little expensive than K & H Home Solutions, but still they were great.  I may not use their services in future.

Based on his review he said that he didn't think we needed any additional insulation, but gave me a few pointers on simple things I could do myself. I was prepared to hire this crew, and I greatly appreciate his honesty and professionalism. THANK YOU.
