    Axium Inspections & Radon Mitigations
I have used Axium for all my buyers inspections for many years. I was around when Wade started Axium, when it was just him, and have watched him grow and flourish as, not just an expert in his field, but THE expert in Home Inspections in Colorado. Even though he's not personally doing the inspections anymore, I trust each and every one of his inspectors knowing they have been trained by the best and that they will do everything they can to keep my buyers needs in mind when inspecting a potential property.

Wow! Great and timely service! I received a call from the technician, Brad, the same day I requested service on Angie's list. We discussed the problem and he was exceptionally informative as to what to expect price wise and work wise. He was at our house at my first requested day/time which was 2 days later. He arrived punctually and was very pleasant and professional. He was extremely helpful with mitigating the problem the right way while avoiding excessive cost. Not only was the price way more reasonable than I expected, he also provided useful tips to avoid future problems so we wouldn't be a repeat customer! Overall a great experience..says a lot being a not so pleasant circumstance! Thanks Brad!

Radon is the gas that’s naturally occurring and cause cancer if you spend too much time in it so they put in mitigation system to homes to make sure it gets into that. What stood out the most was their responsiveness and they made the process real easy. They were very good.

Larry very promptly returned the original message (same day) and set up an appointment.
Once he did the inspection he was very honest and advised us on how to correct without incurring a large amount of additional fees for his firm.  I very much appreciated his honesty as he could have easily given us a song and dance and charged us a lot more for work since we know very little about mold remediation.

He had a check list and took photos and then embed them into the report. He was tasked to inspect the main water line coming into the home and the water meter. He said everything was fine and I believed him. Once we moved in the home, the water meter was very exposed and it was obvious there was a very slow leak. It was staining the floor. I later looked at the picture and noticed it was a close up of the water meter but due to the angle of the picture, you could not fully see it. It appears he did not fully inspect the water meter. We called the professionals to come out and give their opinion. They said the water meter needs replaced and it would be $800 to replace it.  If I would have known that prior to the closing, I would have included that in the negotiation. I called Harry because he said if there were any problems to call him. I explained the situation and he said it was impossible. I then asked for him to return with his plumber. He said he would talk to the plumber but he has yet to call me back. I have even tried to follow up with him.  I looked at his contract and it states that his is only liable for items up to the value of the inspection. It also explained that I would have to file a lawsuit.  I think he choice to hid behind his contract and not honor his word. The inspection failed us and we would not recommend any one use his services.

As we were not living here at the time our realtor set up the appointment, met with them and had only good things to say about their service.  As I recall he said they were "Spot on".  We all were very happy with their service.

I scheduled my appointment with ACE and they came to my home and installed the radon testing strips, provided instructions and materials for mailing in the strips to an independent laboratory for results and then stayed in contact with me on the results. I highly recommend this company. They are professional and their customer service is excellent.

He set up the testing device and provided some suggestions on what I can do.  The radon test result was below the thrush hold and did not to do any updates at this time.  If I do need to in the future I will use this business.

    HomeSpy Inspections
Chris Anderson did an excellent, thorough job on my home inspection for purchase.  I'd use him again and strongly recommend him to others. When I arrived at 8:50 for a 9am inspection, Chris was already there. He finished at about 12:30pm for a home with 2400 finished square feet and an attached garage.  He started on the outside at a distance looking for any big issues like roof sag, concrete buckling by garage door, etc.  Then he rewalked the outside at a few feet away to look for any issues up close (brick grout cracks, plugged drainage holes in brick, etc).  I'm relatively handy and he pointed out things I wouldn't have noticed like the new electrical box, the under window drain holes that were plugged, the tree barely touching power lines, etc.He moved inside and covered it with the same level of detail.  The house was built in 1960 and Chris was excellent at discerning the simple "wear and tear" issues from the significant issues.  He also noted things that were originally built to code but where the code had changed.  While not an issue for purchase, he indicated that if I decided to redo the basement then it would require some rework to get it within current code.  There were also a couple items where Chris noted that a licensed expert would be required to give a formal (aka legal) answer.  For example he flagged the roof as a significant issue.  It didn't fail but Chris noted that it would be borderline whether the appraiser/insurance company would fail it.  He then laid out the options from have the seller replace it, to hiring a licensed roofer to give it a 5 year certification, to seeing if it would pass the appraisers inspection.  Chris ran a continuous radon inspection device that took about 48 hours.  Not Chris' fault but it came back inconclusive due to low levels for most of the time and high levels at the end of the test period. The final report was turned around in less than 24 hours.  With the specifics on the significant issues, I was able to negotiate a good financial outcome with the seller.  His pricing was higher than other estimates I received, but I hired him due to his reviews on Angie's List and I don't regret paying a little more.  I gave him an A for Price - not because he was cheap, but because I felt he delivered great value for my money.  When I'm buying a commoditized item, I want the cheapest price.  When I'm buying a home for several hundred thousand dollars, I want a quality, thorough inspection.
