Castle Rock Flooring and Home Design
Very Poorly. We hired Greg to install carpet, hard wood, some tile, and replace our banister rails. For carpeting, the crew was fast, and has done a decent job, there are a few spots that I'm not pleased with, but it wasn't enough for me to complain about. Hardwood install, This was subed out to Harmony hardwoods, they took much longer than originally quoted, and did a poor job. There were several joints that were cut poorly, and just puttied. The staining on the floor is uneven and they had to redo large portions of it. we have some nails exposed on the stair tread, floor sealant splattered on the wall, and the crew damaged our furniture. I expressed concerns to Greg throughout the process, and the reply was, "They've done hundreds of jobs for me and I've never had a job look bad" the crew seemed very green and not experienced. For the tile work. This was the straw that broke the camel's back, our entry area and side bathroom, we made a change and requested that Greg install tile instead. He OK'ed it and said we just needed to buy the tile, then the night before, he told me I needed to buy grout as well, annoying, but not that big of deal. When making the change to the job, Greg said he'd take care of the underlayment and grout. The installer came over, installed the tile directly on the linoleum without any underlayment, this lead to a large gap between the hardwood and the tile. I also had concerns about the coverage of the mud as before the grout was put in, I could see bubbles and large gaps of mud between the tiles. Greg showed up unannounced that afternoon and asked about it, I was not happy as I'd just gotten home, and had just inspected the extremely poor job that was done. Greg asked if a transition piece would be acceptable. I firmly told him no, I wanted the job to be done properly, he then went and got the needed materials and had the job redone the next day. This led to further issues, as the installer did not pull the trim pieces off, and did not tile up to the toilet flange leaving a very noticeable gap of tile by the toilet. At this point, instead of having Greg attempt to fix this again, we chose to terminate that and the remaining work. We just couldn't trust him or his crews to perform any further work on our house as the quality of work was very poor, and our patience with him was exceeded.

They were insanely good. It all starts/stops with Jennifer who is on top of all the details associated with the job. The technicians were top notch, professional, clean, respectful and above all - great at their job. I have no concerns about referring this company to anyone.

I used a hardwood floor protector that is green and comes on a roll from Lowes. In TINY letters on the inside of the label it says and quot;factory finished floors onlyand quot;. Well, as an average homeowner I would have not have known if they were factory finished or not. Plus who reads the instructions on a roll of sticky saran wrap except for how long to leave it on. The product was removed after two days yet had some kind of chemical reaction with the finish that made it look as if snails had crawled all over the floor. The product maker ended up giving a small cash allowance towards repair without admitting wrongdoing.Andy from CCI came and gave an estimate for repair. He proposed a chemical cleaning and buffing followed by two coats of finish, the second being LightSpeed UV finish that you can walk on immediately.Work was done by two employees and for whatever reason the finish looked terrible. It was 20 degrees when the work was done and for whatever reason the surface was not smooth and glossy. They worked hard but in the end the owner of the company was not happy with their report so he came out and inspected then rescheduled to reattempt one week later. The owner came the next week and attempted to buff/scuff and reapply. He too after 5 hours was not happy with the product. He apologized and we set a time for a true sand and finish at no extra cost for me. They just finished today. After 3 days of work including multiple sandings and finish coats the floor is done. Looks great. Not only are the marks from that horrible green protector gone, but the rest of the floor looks brand new.In the end I got twice the value for my money. Andy Rozo, the owner is to be congratulated on standing by his services and going the extra ten miles to do what he promised. A 3/4 day project turned into 5 full days for them. They were on time, courteous and all around professionals. I actually felt bad for all the problems they encountered.I would hire him again in an instance.

They added to some hardwood floors so they had to match the flooring that we had in here. It was a very positive experience. We met with the owner and we felt good about talking to him because he seemed very knowledgeable. He owns the business and they have a showroom there. It was nice that we could see some of the different flooring and we made the decision to go with the floor that we already have here but we added to it. We more than doubled the amount of the wood flooring that was in our home. They did a very nice job and they were very responsive. They were always on time for their appointments and they were fast. They did a very nice work and they matched the floor perfectly. I cannot even see anymore where the old floor was and the new floor so we were very happy with their work. They were very polite and the people that we worked with were really good. There was not anything negative that I could say about them at all. Their price was also competitive because we got three different bids. They were not the lowest but they were very close to the lowest price that we got.

The service went really well, he did a great job. The job took longer than the big deal covered, and so we paid additional. The experience was really good. They communicated well, they came out when they said they would, they ended up discounting heavily, because it took longer than they thought it would.

    Norton Remodeling Inc.
Steve was very responsive to all questions we had regarding the installation process. He was always prompt and he called if he was going to be late. The tile was installed and looks wonderful! After each day, he would clean up the work area. We would definitely recommend him for any tiling job.

I couldn't be more pleased, the basement is beautiful and the workmanship is impeccable!!  Max and Levi, the owners, are wonderful people to work with and very responsive to ideas, questions and the changes that inevitably come up when working on a so-called "unfinished canvas".  They are very fair and reasonable when cost expenditures are discussed and are more than willing to offer other solutions in any given situation.I would highly recommend the company and would not hesitate to hire them again.

Scott (father) and Johnathan (son) did a wonderful job. They showed up timely for the estimate and to do the work. The coating in our 3 car garage looks great. I like the fact that they were the ones that actually do the work. They were very professional and made it an easy painless process - we didn't need to be there to babysit them.  They did a nice job cleaning up after the job as well. They also give a lifetime guarantee which I like so if there's ever an issue we can call them to fix it. I would highly recommend them.

The repairs are excellent.  I can't even tell where they are if I didn't know where they were.  He was very prompt, and worked quickly but as I mentioned with a high quality outcome.  I am very pleased and would definitely call on Expert Carpet Repair again.
