AColorado Custom Blinds, Shades & ShuttersWe had done a full remodel of an older home near Lake George. The last step was to get all new blinds for the windows. Malia came to meet us and went through all of her design books with us. She was on time (rare in the mountains!), professional and efficient. We were able to pick various types and colors of blinds for different rooms. It took about a month for the blinds to come in. Her installers were quick and professional and did a nice job of getting everything installed and showing us how the various types of blinds work. I'm sure we'll use her for any future blind work we have.- Robert S.

AMini Shading SolutionsNick, the owner of the company, came to our house at the appointed time, just 2 days after we had called for the appointment. He was able to replace the broken part from the inventory in his equipment van even though it has not been used on new shades for some years. He was very friendly, informative, and careful with the work and charged considerably less than what we had previously paid to have these shades repaired by taking them to a local dealer and then having to wait for about 2 weeks while they were sent out of the area for the repairs.- Carl S.

It is important to note that there is an effort to enhance your existing décor whenever possible but suggest appropriate changes when needed. This includes adding appropriate furnishings, selecting complementary colors and adding enhancing accessories within your stated budget constraints. There is an emphasis on doing a project correctly, even if it means splitting the project in stages. Time is never an issue, so you never feel rushed to make a decision. We would not tackle a home project without Marti Saul's guidance. She is always willing to provide assistance even if she is not providing the service. The quality of the wooden blinds, shades and blackout shades is excellent and I have received many compliments on them from my guests. I got to choose from a very large selection of options, which can be overwhelming, but Gotcha Covered patiently helped me thru my ignorance and decisions, and made the ordering process very easy. The colors, style and quality were even better than what I was expecting - every shade/blind was a unique size and they all fit each window perfectly. Each shade/blind was carefully packaged and labeled for each specific window which made sorting them out a snap. I installed all of them myself and was surprised at how easy they were to put up. Not only are their shades competitively priced, but they were ready and delivered very quickly, as promised. The mechanics of the shades and blinds have been flawless. AGolden West ShuttersOne of the owners of the company came to my house, arriving on time. He measured windows and provided an estimate on site. His prices were better than even the Costco referred company AND he was able to customize a problematic window over the kitchen sink where the faucet interfered with the opening/closing of the shutter panel. FIf I could give zero stars, I would. First, it was taking forever to get my order. When I looked at my order, they somehow had the wrong address (my former address from five years ago), so I contacted them to change the address. They assured me that the address was changed. A couple of weeks later, I was notified via email that my order was delivered but when I checked my front door it wasn't there, so I went to my old address, 30 minutes away and got lucky that the owner was there and had received my order. When I got it home the 3 roller shades that I ordered for side-by-side windows were all 4 inches too big. I followed the online measurement directions which suggested that you add 2 inches per side to your measurements for an outside mount. I should have stayed with my original measurements. When I called, they suggested that I keep an inch on each side. They re-made them, and AGAIN sent them to the wrong address - even after I re-confirmed that they had the right one. Again, I had to go to my old address to look for my delivery. This time, no one was home, so I took a chance and waited in front of their house for a while until someone may come home. Luckily, someone showed up within 90 minutes. This time they had showed up with 2 boxes! They re-made it twice (6 roller shades), all still too big! Due to the global pandemic and for personal reasons, I waited to address the issue. When I finally was able to contact them, I was sent a message that the CSR's supervisor determined that the blinds were made correctly. Therefore, they cannot offer a remake for this order. Their policy states that they will make up to 4 shades if the customer is not completely happy. However, they offered to remake the shades at a discounted price! I will not give them one more penny! Worst service ever! A $500.00 lesson learned - They stole my money and left me with 9 useless roller shades to get rid of. I do not recommend them!
