ADenver Deck BuildersDenver Deck Builders I can’t say enough great things about Denver Deck Builders! I heard about them from our neighbor, his deck looked awesome, so I gave Ron a call on Jan 23rd. He said he could come out the day after, Jan 25th, to see what I wanted and to take measurements and pictures. Our old redwood deck was falling apart, and we weren’t sure if we wanted to stay with wood or go composite. And if we wanted to stay the same size or increase it. And Ron mentioned we could also think about adding a pergola. Just 2 days later, Jan 27th, he emailed me detailed estimate showing the cost for replacing our deck as it currently was, and the cost for upgrading to composite, both prices for increasing the size using wood or composite, and the price to add a pergola. So we could make an informed decision on what we wanted and what we could afford. We decided on upgrading everything, and also including having them do a picture frame with the decking. Trading texts with Ron, he had a few other ideas to make our deck even more special. Some we added, and others we didn’t, there was never any pressure, just ideas he had to make it even better. They had a cancellation and were able to start our deck a week later on Feb 8th. The crew, led by Shane were amazing! They worked pretty much every day, and this was during a cold snap with days that were in the freezing. They completed the deck on Feb 22nd, faster than we thought it was going to be done, considering the cold and snow we had when they were working. Shane made sure we were kept up to date every single day on status of where they were and what was planned for the next day. The deck is simply amazing and so much better than we imagined. Their workmanship to every little detail was truly so impressive, And they left our yard cleaner than when they started. Then, unlike other contractors I had talked to, Legacy provided a detailed estimate that gave me confidence in their expertise. The work was started and completed on schedule, despite a snow storm that occurred toward the end of the demolition phase. The crew arrived promptly each day. ACoil N Soil ServicesRich and his team did a great job putting down a paver walkway/entertainment space and replacing our 30+yr deck with composite Trex. He suggested lighting on the columns which we love, and where we noticed the lawn was higher in one spot along the walkway, he added a small retaining wall. AParamount Remodeling Company IncAfter meeting with Paramount (Levi) we were encouraged by their process and many years of experience. As we went through the project, the scope grew and Paramount was very accommodating to both budget and time constraints working with us on a growing project. They did a great job of explaining the value of proposed ideas (vaulting ceiling), etc. to us as this was our first major renovation. Our project took our home to the studs, and beyond. Tony actually had our deck get started five weeks sooner than expected. The product is amazing alone....but the workmanship is second to none. Every spec of the deck, top to bottom, was measured then re-measured and then measured again. Todd was our foreman and is the most meticulous contractor we have ever encountered. (When work is being done right outside the kitchen, you get to watch in amazement how perfectly it is being done.) Our backyard was cleaned up, swept and tools all put away every single day. He has such a wide range of knowledge to everything from floor plan renovations with structural concerns to expertise in landscaping. His crew is polite and professional, and they always leave the job site so clean at the end of every day. Ben is diligent about completing a job on time - even if it means late nights or weekends. For all that, I think what impresses me most about him is his genuine care in the quality of his work and the satisfaction of his clients. This is such a rare and extraordinary quality. I have never worked with someone of his caliber before and highly recommend him for any and all projects. ABath Perfect by Accessible Systems did a phenomenal job with our master bath remodel! This was an amazingly positive contrast to a bad experience we had with another bathroom remodeler two years ago. From the initial planning, design and contracting with James and Katherine through to the tough, challenging demo and reconstruction of the bath with Adam, it was great experience. Adam is the best!!! He kept an amazingly clean job site. He was fast, efficient and highly skilled in multiple trades. Adam is a highly professional, knowledgable, and skilled tradesman that was easy to have in your home for two-plus weeks. He made numerous suggestions along the way that made this project a huge success. It could not have turned out better! Gary did an excellent job as well overseeing the project. FThey did not contact me, I had to reach out to them. When the person showed up, he looked at what I needed done (2 small patches in the drywall that needed to mudded) and 2 toilets that needed to have the tank parts replaced. He went to the store, called and said he wanted to replace both toilets ($295) and the total labor would be an additional $550. When I told him I didn't want the toilets replaced, just repaired and I would do the drywall myself, he said it wasn't work his time and never returned. Will NEVER use Angie's List again!!!
