AThe Woodsman, LLCJeff’s caliber of skill is excellent. He installed shaker kitchen and bathroom cabinets in my home and worked around several challenges. The walls and floors in my home are far from level, but he managed to balance out the rooms so that the adjoining walls and cabinets looked even. His workmanship on trim and crown molding is excellent. Everything was uniform with no visible seams. He and Scott were very professional, flexible and pleasant to work with. ASaxton ConstructionWe had been waiting a number of years to start several projects for our backyard and finding the right contractor to help us turn them into reality was very important. Neill Saxton with Saxton Construction thankfully turned out to be that contractor. We wanted to build a new two car garage, move the overhead lines in our yard to be buried, and upgrade the electrical service coming into the house and the new garage. Through the entire process Neill was there to help provide insight on what was possible and to listen to and adjust plans to address our concerns and questions. Each step of the way we dealt with professional, highly skilled workers, who did things right the first time. They also worked with an efficiency and speediness that made us feel that having the project done on time was as important to them as it was to us. Although there were some needed adjustments to the overall plan as we moved along (needing to upgrade the sewer line for example), Neill had the needed solution every time, and he was honest and upfront about the changes and options so we could evaluate the choices before proceeding. It was a pleasure working with Neill and all those associated with Saxton Construction. They deliver high quality work, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. AAll the work went well. Paulo was very professional and responsive. We had a few delays that were out of his hands - mostly due to suppliers who were behind schedule. Nothing major, but Paulo communicated about all of these in a timely fashion. We replaced all of our vinyl siding with James Hardie board. Also replaced several exterior windows. Paulo also replaced all of our old gutters. Everything was painted to order including old soffets and fascia. Someone touched up the drywall texturing around the new windows and then painted everything to match. The work was done efficiently. They paid attention to detail and fabricated nice trims around outlets and utility vents. My only gripe would be that they didn't leave the roof clean, and after the first rain, I found a lot of debris and nails that had blown down into the yard and driveway. Everybody on his crew was friendly and respectful. There was always at least one person on site who spoke perfect English.

AThis work was done several years ago, 9 - 10, and the basement is still in great shape. I've been working done here during the 2020 Pandemic and I LOVE IT. Paramount crafted custom drywall shapes around a couple odd ducts, and put in little doors to the crawl space and water main. The half bath is still beautiful. It all has a professional look. I asked them to put in a large basement window lined with timbers instead of an aluminum or plastic liner, and it came out really well and is still in great shape. This is the nicest space in this 1971 ranch house in Gunbarrel Green. (Cost below is approximate, based on memory.) -cc

AWe chose Baker Builders from the start because of their professionalism. We finished our daughters basement into a mother-in-law apartment. They weren't the highest bid or the lowest but seemed to offer the guidance that we needed. We met at their office and felt comfortable right away. Dustin Baker is a very honest man, Susanne, the designer did just that, she is great! I can't say enough about Jay the construction manager. He is prompt, has any issues addressed immediately and did a great job! Thank you Baker Builders for our lovely new home!
