  • They’re fabulous. They don’t charge you as long as you buy your tires there. Of course, I would use them again. I used them whenever I need tires and whenever I have a tire problem. I think they do alignments too, so I go there for alignments. They’re very good.

  • Some were professional and some were not. I talked to several people on this particular thing. So, I had to go through 3 people to get a person that knew what they were talking about. I finally got to somebody, but I think if somebody didn?t know anything about cars or tires, they might not have gotten to the right person. On the other hand, they might not have asked what I asked. 

    I was looking for a slightly off beat tire, because I wanted it for my Toyota.  I wanted tires that would handle more load. So, I had to find somebody that could go through the whole thing. When they figured out what I was looking for, they did get me somebody, but it took a little while to get that across to them. In my experience, there were sales people, they didn?t know quite what they were talking about and they didn?t know that they didn?t know. 

    So, for the average, if you are going in and just getting the tires that the manufacture recommends for this, that?s okay. But, if for something off beat, you just have to go through and get to the right person. It?s a tough one. I mean, in my experience, and I have brought tires for the last 50 years. I mean, it?s hard to find somebody that knows tires and the various things and is not simply selling you a tire. 

    I just say, like with every tire dealer, you have to be careful. I noticed they are really popular. I brought some tires a month and a half before that and there was a 4 hour wait. In which, they told you about. If you went there at 8 o-clock in the morning, there was a line out the door. People seem to like them. I always get tires from them. If you're just buying round tires, then they'll be great!

  • They met the schedule that they said. The rating for professionalism is because I checked the tire pressure and it was higher than recommended on the door panel. The front and rear tires have two different pressures, and all of them were higher. The front was 2 pounds higher & the back was 4 pounds higher or vice-versa, I don’t remember which. That’s a mistake that they shouldn’t have made.Also, when they mounted the tires, there are marks on the tire that they’re supposed to line up with the marks on the wheel, if the wheel has them. Otherwise, they’re supposed to line it up with the valve stem in a certain way, and that’s from the tire manufacture. The tire manufacture says that on their website. They didn’t do that, and they said they never do that. They said, spin balance that is supposed to take care of that. The problem is that, that’s not true. It makes them in balanced sort of, but in a moment, it could change.Long story short, they don’t follow the tire manufacture’s recommendation. So, that’s wrong. They should have given me an option, they should have asked. I got a little more knowledgeable by going to the manufacture’s website and some racing sites. Anyway, for better performance, there are ways to mount the tire, and they didn’t seem to be aware of it. They said, they never did that and they didn’t give me an opportunity to ask for that. So, they could have said, “we don’t do that!” I also think, that you would be hard pressed to find anybody that did that. It’s not a fatal flaw, it’s just that it reduced my opinion of their professionalism and their quality of service. In fact, the tires being higher pressure and I let them sit overnight. It was a cold day, so the tires were dead cold and they were still a couple pounds high. Which is better than a couple pounds low, but it’s not what it should be, and the fact that some were 4 pounds. Four pounds is pass what it should be. So, they were all consistently high

  • I just discovered that the technician did not replace my wheel lock key when this service was last provided. I had to purchase a new key at my own expense. I would rate them poor for professionalism. I should have known better after my first poor experience swapping winter tires which I had purchased from them and was told it would take less than an hour. So I waited, and nearly three hours later I got my car back with apologies but no explanation. They are out of business now in Boulder, but I would not drive to Denver to use them for anything ever again.

  • These guys are amazing. I've never been so satisfied in dealing with an auto shop. After being referred to them by AutoHaus, they examined my car and confirmed what AutoHaus had told me needed to be fixed. They didn't have the wheel needed for my car, but were able to find and pick one up in Denver for me the next day! Jarrod was wonderful to work with- he helped me pick out the exact tires I needed, was the one who found me the wheel, and explained everything in a way I could understand (the print-out showing what was wrong with the alignment was very helpful). The price was fair (the estimate was exactly what I ended up paying), with a nice deal on the price of the wheel. They're honest, very professional and friendly, and offer fast, excellent service. In the time I sat in the lobby waiting for the repairs to be done, I noticed many people come and go, all of them happy with their service also! I can't recommend them enough!

  • These guys were great.  Good advice, product, service and price.  I always prefer using local stores if they can at least come close to Costco prices.  As it was, these guys were almost the same, but got the tires faster. 
    This is the second car I've taken here for tires and both were good experiences.

  • Barnsley had 3 of the 4 tires I needed in stock, and replaced 3 of 4 of my tires right away, and found the best of my legacy 4 tires to use temporarily.  Once the 4th new tire came in, they installed it quickly and professionally.

  • I did not have an over all good experience. The sales people were pretty aggressive about wanting to do other work on my car that they said was necessary, but when I asked another mechanic that I trust later on they said it wasn't so urgent. Anyway they seemed also intent on up selling me on tires I didn't want and when I didn't cave in they were miffed. When I came to get my car they were jerks about how they left it. They had the seat pushed as far back as possible and the guy who pulled up the parking break must have used all his force to stick it in the highest position. I had to practically blow a blood vessel in my forehead trying to get it undone. Jerks.

  • I purchased four new Michelin tires and had them balanced and mounted.  Everything went smoothly except I wish they had a      better method for scheduling.  Its first come first served and once I finished shopping at Costco I still had a long wait.  At times I could see myself spending hours there.  Make sure you can plan other things to do.

  • Finished on time Finished on estimate. Did not torque the lug bolts to spec's. This could be a real problem as a flat tire with over-torqued lug bolts could make changing a flat impossible.
    This place (used to be tire source and now is green garage) is not the Tire Source I am used to. They talk a good line, but don't appear to deliver. I was alerted by a friend who had the same problem that II had not checked until yesterday. Lug bolts were torqued to over 160 foot-lbs (the limit of my torque wrench). This is important for 2 reasons: 1) over-torquing results in warped disks and 2) Tight bolts cannot be changed on the road with the tools provided by the manufacturer of the car.
