    At 6:15AM, John called and told me that he can send someone to check on the freezer at 9AM and 1PM, The guy arrived at 10:20AM, a young named Roman, came and checked the freezer, told me that a new compressor is needed to be replaced and the price would be $678.00, which happens that he has on the truck, I said I could buy a new freezer for $700-800, he said that I have a 15 year old freezer and a new compressor would give me another 8-10 years or so, and with a new freezer would only last 3-5 years. I then said , I need to call my son, and my son said that to get rid of the guy and that I was scammed. Roman had the freezer put back together, and paid him $54.00 with a senior discount, for a service call. This company was a poacher and they have a poor ratings.

    I highly recommend Steve. He did a major repair but because the machine was still too far gone and ending up needing replacing he did not charge me one cent. He was professional, friendly, competent, on time and easy to work with. I'll be using him for all my appliance repairs in the future.

    Up-front customer service was friendly and responsive. However, I scheduled a tech for a 4-hour window on Saturday, and he missed the window by almost an hour. Once here, he didn't apologize for being late or even seem to notice that I had spent most of my Saturday waiting. Overall knowledge was next to nothing... my guess is that he went through a half-day training course and then got put right into the field. He wasn't personable, wasn't friendly, and didn't even know how to answer some of my basic questions about what he was checking for and why he was checking for it. It looked like he just pulled out a checklist/poorly written guide, and followed it with a minimal amount of effort. I will stick with the more expensive guys (Columbine Appliance & Fireplaces) because you really do get what you pay for.

    Have an older dryer. Diagnosed issue in under 10 minutes. Gave me choice of ordering part or having him do a work around. Went with the latter. Works beautifully now. Very reasonable, skillful and honest.

    Very Disappointing - Avoid at all costs I talked with the owner ��� Randy - about needing the refrigeration unit repaired in my wine room. He sent a "tech" to my home to diagnose the problem and suggest a solution. The tech told me he'd research the necessary equipment and get back to me in a week or so. He charged me $85 for 15 minutes of his time, used my ladder, and left without replacing the cover to the equipment. That was 6 weeks ago. I've placed 4 calls to the owner - Randy - to find out about the solution I paid to "research". No return calls from anyone: not Randy, not the "tech", not the service department - No One. An $85 charge for nothing. Maybe that's the business model.

    Pete came out and evaluated the unit and found burnt connections and a bad control. He ordered parts and had to wait for approval from the management of my house. When he received the parts and approval, he repaired and was very prompt. He left my kitchen clean and I can bake again! I will refer again and do all the time on my neighborhood app when people ask for appliance repair.

    First, I had a brief call with Westwind to discuss timing. During that call I made it clear more than once that if the workman showed up outside of the window of time they gave, as the previous workmen had, I wouldn't be there. They assured me that they would be on time. Several days later, they called to ask some routine questions and casually mentioned they would be showing up outside of what we agreed. I explained that wasn't okay, to sort it out, and call me back. They never called back. On the day of service, a Westwind repairman, Bill, showed up as scheduled. He looked at our dryer vent and said it was too long. I asked for him to perform a diagnostic on the dryer to make sure it wasn't the dryer that was faulty. His response was that I should do it that myself. I explained that I was told not to touch any of the vents or disconnect them when Home Depot installed the washer and dryer because it would void the warranty. He said he wouldn't tell anyone, that it would take a long time, so I should do it myself. I said I wasn't willing to risk that and asked him again to do the diagnostic. Bill complained the whole time. He huffed and puffed, he whined and whimpered, he sighed a lot, and he repeatedly said he was sick. If he was too sick to do work, that's fine, but he shouldn't have gone to work that day. He also mentioned being too sick to work every time I asked him to actually perform a task. Bill kept on saying the process would take a really long time and he'd have to come back some other time to perform the full diagnostic and all he could do now was measure the temperature, which I said was fine. Again, he hemmed and hawed and said he needed to get the thermometer from his truck. And again, I said that was fine and I'd like him to test the dryer in whatever capacity he could to make sure it was working. He was outside for a while doing god knows what, came back in and said he was too sick to do it and left. On his way out he said he would have Westwind call me to reschedule. They didn't, of course. I left a message over the weekend. And again, no one called me back. This is like every other experience we've had with Home Depot's outsourced services - they are incompetent and unprofessional, who likely have little actual customer base - just an ongoing contract with a big box retailer that constantly feeds them unsuspecting customers. I wasted a significant portion of my day to sit around listening to a whining, unprofessional repairman complain about doing his job, which he ultimately never did. I would avoid using Westwind since, in our experience, they appear to be incapable of performing basic jobs.

    They were very good, I have no complaints about them. They were kind of expensive. I think I had to have some units in my oven replaced, they had gone out. I think it was pretty expensive to fix those ovens. I don���t know if it was just them or if it was just the sticks. As a matter of fact, my ovens are reading 50 degrees off. So, I am accommodating that with a thermometer that I have in there, so I just set it like when I want 350, I put 400. It���s not satisfactory, I���m getting tired of doing that. Good quality. They responded. They kind of hang loose, but they���re very professional. I don't know if I would call them above this other man I have, I might just call somebody else. I'm not sure.
