    Mile High Master Tile
I recently remodeled my house and hired Dan to do the tile work for the bathroom. He was definitely one of the best subs I hired. His bid was competitive, the work was done on time, and he communicated well. Most importantly, he did quality work and used good materials. I recommend him without hesitation.

Chris and team did a good job with what they had to work with. Had to adjust scope of job - but chris was flexible and saved us a lot of heartache. End product looks good. He was quick to respond to any of my concerns and questions. Would hire again!

We've had a great experience with James. We were looking for someone who could take on two of our smaller projects quickly so we could move into the house we just bought. James immediately got back to us and came out for an estimate. He gave us good advice on where to shop for tile and how to demo the old tile ourselves to save a little money.
We chose a wood-look plank tile for the laundry room and a big square tile for the bathroom. James installed both beautifully in arrangements that reflected the tile shape and the room.
While James was installing the second floor laundry room tile, it occurred to me that the room didn't have a floor drain. James quickly took out the tile he had already installed and cleaned it so it could be reused. We had our plumber install a floor drain, and James came back to finish the tile, this time slightly sloping it down to the floor drain. He also gave us advice on what kind of vent cover to use for the floor vent in the laundry room to prevent water from going into the ducts.
We will call James again when we redo our master bathroom later this year.

He was great. I'm going to use him this winter when I have the money because it is a pricey deal. It is $1,500. He is very knowledgeable and he guarantees that the product will be perfect. He was very professional. I'm sure it is a lot of labor and a lot of work.

On  Wednesday, May 29th, 2013, Adam and his partner Tony came to my home in Golden Colorado, and provided us with a detailed, free estimate, that we received by email within two days of the initial meeting.   By far, Adam and Tony
provided the most reasonable estimate for the extensive flooring work we needed done.  We needed to install tile, hardwood and laminate planking, and requested detailed tile work on stair risers, and the center of the hardwood in the bedroom.  We met with about eight different contractors, and without a doubt, Adam and Tony were the most honest, trustworthy, and upstanding pair out of everyone.  They are just regular hardworking family guys, with an intense desire for customer satisfaction.  Their extreme politeness was a welcome change. We had all of the materials, which made the project extra challenging as we only had a limited quantity of the hardwood, yet an abundance of tile.  Adam  and Tony?s creative expertise came into play as they made a hardwood border around a large tile design in the center of the bedroom.  It turned out absolutely amazing!  In this old house, none of the rooms or stairs are square, but Adam and Tony fine-tuned everything to fit perfectly.  The intricate detail that they put into every separate area is extraordinary, and looks nothing like the standard mediocre flooring work done by most contractors today.  The project took longer than expected to complete, as they came across some interesting structural challenges with the stairs, but they arrived in a timely manner every day (including the weekend), and stayed into the evenings until the project was finished.  On top of the unfailing punctuality, and high level of expertise, they left the work area/s spotless prior to leaving each day.
My husband and I are thrilled with the final results of the project, and highly recommend Adam and Tony for any project that someone may hire them for.

The service turned out great. Their office was prompt with scheduling and having someone come and do the work. The company is owned by a couple and the wife who runs the office, called after the work was completed to make sure we were completely satisfied.

We were really happy with the quality of work and the price. He is very personable and very flexible. In order to get the correct tile, he drove to Detroit because he could not get it locally. We got quotes on the painting job, and the closest to his price was double what he charged us. I didn't get other quotes on the tile job because he was recommended  to us by our realtor. The quality of work was excellent. I would absolutely use him in the future.

    Wessling Construction
A major remodel that was scheduled to last 8-10 months lasted 18 month with Wessling construction never finishing the project.  In fact, they just quit showing up.  Then a few weeks later we received a call that they would not be finishing up the job because it wasn't worth it to them.  As a result, they left equipment at our house that they have never returned to pick up.  Although, they did ask one of their subs to pick up the equipment if they were in the area.  But the sub refused to do so saying that they were sick and tired of dealing with Mike Wessling!

Besides that, the quality of construction was mediocre and most of the sub-constractors that Mike used were worthless:  dry wall contractors that could only do one kind of tecxture; painters that would only spray and would not do any back rolling; tile layers that could not lay tile in a straigh line; wood stainers that got lacquer every where except on the natural wood doors (i.e. all over the TV 20 feet away); and plumbers that installed the water lines on the wrong side of the tub (hot on the right and cold on the left) and claimed that our floor could only support one kind of tub.  Get the point?  Unfortunately we did not realize what was going on until 12 months into the project.  When questioned and pushed to get the job done and done right, Mike and his goons bugged out and we ended up hiring another contractor to come in and finish the job that Mike had started.

In the 6.5 years since Mike left, I have had to redo some of the things that Mike did originally either because he never completed them or they have fallen apart.

Luckily, we only paid as the work was done and did not losemuch if any money, although we never received any detailed receipts for materials purcahsed or from the sub contractors.

We definitely learned our lesson.  Basically, they will do your demolition work because the profit margin is high, and then maybe do some framing and  rough-in work, but once they start on the finish carpentry, you become less and less of a priority to them as the profit margin decreases until a point they just quit showing up because it isn't worth their time.  Thus, Mike Wessling Construction shouldn't be worth your time!

Very good. Mr Otto came out the same day I called for an estimate and finished the job the next two days. He took care to minimize the mess and did very good quality work.
