Doug did a great job taking care of my bathroom remodel. He was very patient and understanding in all aspects. Im looking to use him in some future projects including new windows and doors as well as some painting.

Do not do business with the Company! I placed an order with them that was supposed to be delivered in 2-3 months and its been 9 months, Ive paid over 50% for my order and the Company refuses to respond to my e-mails concerning the status of the order. Huge integrity issues with this Company and they have company policy which contradicts their own contract terms! I contracted Thurston (also dba DC&A, Discount Cabinets and Appliances and Kitchens of Colorado) for a kitchen cabinet order in March of 2017 and the contract had a delivery date of June 2017. Its almost November 2017 and nothing has arrived (over 9 months since I ordered the cabinets!). Thurston has not acknowledged any responsibility for not delivering the cabinets timely yet they continue to hound me for payment on the final balance even though nothing has arrived. They continue to promise that the cabinets will be in shortly, next week, even tomorrow but nothing has been delivered. To make it worse they are requiring a final cash payment to be made to them before the cabinets arrive to them and have indicated they will not deliver the cabinets to me until I pay them cash for the full remaining balance. This payment policy is not in the contract that I signed but according to my sales rep its company policy which they cant make any exceptions to. Ive recommended to them that they should make their Company Policy align with their contract terms! I cant delay the cabinet delivery any more than it has already been delayed so with extreme reluctance, I agreed to make a final payment via a credit card (to give me some sort of recourse if they dont deliver) even before I have any opportunity to inspect the cabinets and before they deliver the cabinets to my residence but they have not responded to that offer or given any indication to me as to when they will deliver my cabinets. They just want cash and theyve gone completely silent on me (other than payment requests) presumably until I give them cash. I thought this was a reputable company but ultimately this company has the most rotten business practices that Ive ever experienced. On four occasions, Ive requested evidence from them that they actually place the cabinet order with their manufacturer but they refuse to respond to that request this request was made after I found out in late April 2017 that they forgot to place my order with their manufacturer after I signed a contract with them and gave them a 50% down payment. I have numerous other complaints about this company but the lack of performance and refusal to refund my deposit is the biggest issue at this point. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for kitchen or bathroom cabinets!

It went better than we could have reasonably hoped and expected. Kevin and Manny were extremely professional, punctual, and creative. They provided excellent communication throughout the process and we were comfortable having them in our home (in fact, we miss them). Many other contractors and local professionals have been very impressed with the finished product and we will enjoy this very unique story behind our kitchen remodel for a very long time. I highly recommend Kevin & Manny for any project.

    Back Bowls Construction

I found Back Bowls Construction on Angie's List with a great review. My experience has been the same. I had at least 4 contractors providing me with quotes and Back Bowl's seemed to be the most reliable and affordable. They did a very good job, especially on the wood work. Their crew is ready for any request. Our project took three months to be completed and I recall once or twice I called Dave and he could not answer the phone. He's always responsive, updating us on the project and attempted to any change of course. Definitively recommend Back Bowls and would hire them again.

The work is substantially done and the work is not done fully not because it is his fault because somebody shifted the cabinet that was damaged.  He has done his part and we are very happy with him.  The way they work is you can have them come in here and do the kitchen when I am not here and this is our second home.  Weekly he takes his time to send photographs and everything else so even if though I am not here and I don’t have the inconvenience of no water no kitchen for ‘x’ number of months.  You are still on top because you can see what is going on.  His communication is good.  We also had them do the windows and that was good chunk of it.  The job would have been done on time if it was not for the damaged cabinet.  They committed to an end contract date and during the end contract date they were substantially done.  We got impacted up here in Mountains due to weather and it delayed the windows by 30 days which was not his fault and it held him back.  He did his best and worked around.  Doing the work in the Mountain isn’t the easiest thing to do.  He definitely works with us and listens to what I told him and adjusted his prices.  He gave us the price and stuck to it.  He was upfront and he was always forthright.  He has been in business for a long time.
