    Oakleaf Construction Inc.
I originally hired Oakleaf and Ralph to re-skirt mobile home after removing old skirting. I appreciated that Ralph alerted me to, and showed me, problems with insulation missing or falling down and plumbing leaks under the home. Despite the added time this work would take, Oakleaf stayed with the job until it was complete. Oakleaf also replaced the front deck and mudroom, coated the metal roof with rubberized compound, and removed and hauled off all old material (and hauled off very old very large satellite dish). Expert workmanship! Quality materials were used. This is a vacation home. I cannot find any photos of the finished job.

    Silverpick Contracting
My experience with SilverPick can be characterized by poor workmanship, little to no supervision of subs, lack of accountability, and a failure to stand behind their work. I hired Jaaron Mankins and SilverPick Contracting to build my custom home in Falls Creek Ranch in 2018. Once I paid the final invoice, I spent the next nine months chasing him down to get warranty and unsatisfactory work completed. Some of the “lowlights” of our experience follow: 1. I was presented an invoice for a bath tub which was scratched by his crew during construction. When I questioned this, he responded in an e-mail: “Sometimes things get damaged during the (construction) process. If you prefer, I can add my 20% (mark-up) to this line item as well.” I was in Phoenix at the time and when I got back to Durango to inspect the work, I found the scratches I had asked to be repaired were still there. Several months later and only after multiple requests/denials, was I refunded. Ultimately, I paid out of my own pocket to have the tub repaired. 2. I was charged for punch list items which Jaaron refused to itemize. When I asked him to itemize, his response in an e-mail was “it’s not my job to regurgitate exact items completed.” 3. On 1/30/19 Jaaron came to my home to do a walk through and review the punch list items that remained. He was extremely adversarial and refused to allow me to discuss any items or even allow me to walk around my home with him. Later that day, he refused nearly all of our warranty requests—most of which he later validated. I can only speculate as to why he behaved this way. I have an audio recording of this encounter which will posted at a later date. 4. The interior paintwork was very poor quality. Both bedrooms upstairs had to re-textured and re-painted. Much of the remainder of the house had to be re-painted as well. Over the course of about five months, Jaaron sent out four different painting crews to take a crack at fixing all the paint issues. As a result, there are multiple different finishes on the walls and trim. Again, as with most other warranty requests, he repeatedly denied and refused to complete the work for several months. 5. He repeatedly refused to replace my wooden front door that has four large panes of glass. The glass had been scratched by his subcontractor during the sanding/finishing process. He blamed it on me because he claimed the door had shrunk because I did not get him my stain color choice in a timely manner, which doesn't even make sense. Nearly 11 months later, I finally got a new door. 6. He allowed water damaged trim to be installed throughout my home, then denied that it was water damaged until I showed him photographic evidence of the trim sitting out in the rain covered by cardboard. Jaaron finally did replace some of the damaged trim.

    DURANGO DECKS
Carl came out to look at the project. We asked him to talk to our builder and then after giving us an approximate start date we never heard from him again, Very disappointed that he couldn't take the time to communicate why he wasn't going to do the job and left us hanging for several weeks when we could have been looking for someone else.

I have used them for a number of years. They are great. They are responsive. They come out when they said they are going to be there and do the job that they say they are going to do.

Chuck Snyder New Construction and Remodeling
Chuck and his crew showed up 5 mins. early everyday and were ready to start accomplishing the goal for the day. Compared to a previous contractor I worked with, they probably got 140% done each hour on the job. He listened to my questions/concerns/change requests and overall had a "can do" attitude. Basically, he was focused on getting the job done correctly and as efficiently as possible and was a pleasure to work with.

    Oakley Construction Ltd.
Everything went well, on time, on budget. We built from 2000 miles away, communication was of paramount concern, and we had great communication. Couldn't have been happier with the outcome.

    Watson Enterprises Inc.
The tile work went perfectly! Andy Watson was excellent in every aspect of the project. He was extremely professional, meticulous in his planning and attention to detail. He was reliable, arrived each day on time, his assistant was professional and meticulous as well. Andy also recommended advice on the project based on his experience (alternate materials, layout, etc.). We have another tile project in our near term future and Andy Watson will be our choice!

    Baxter Construction Inc
Gates were built to match the deck with additional safety in mind. Added height to ensure safety and additional locks to re-enforce safety in the deck enclosure. This added a great secure feeling while on this second story deck! Great job Rick!!
