"I contacted the company and spoke with
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
about getting an estimate for replacing very old carpet with laminate in 3 bedrooms and a hallway. She was very helpful about giving me suggestions that would fit my budget and accommodate my pets (dog and cats). She gave me samples to take home and look at for a couple days. Meanwhile, we arranged for the measurements to be done. When I went back with my choice to get an accurate estimate, I was ecstatic to find out I could afford to get the whole project done at once when I was expecting to have to do it in 2 steps. The prices were so reasonable. Although the company was in the process of moving to their current location,
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
made sure that my job got done on schedule.
The installers were prompt, professional, and did an excellent job! I am extremely pleased with the final product. My rooms look amazing. I am anxious to be able to have them come back and replace the flooring on my main level as soon as possible. I would recommend this company without any hesitation.

was very professional from start to finish. The installation of the red oak floors, sanding and staining took a little over a week. They provided a detailed schedule of when things would be complete (installation, hanging plastic, sanding, looking at stain samples, etc.). Their crew arrived on time, were very professional and did an outstanding job. Their pricing was very competitive. We also had them remove carpet from a bathroom on the second level and install tile. We met with them on 2 different occasions at their showroom to look at tile samples and they were very helpful on what color and texture to use, since it was going to be for a kids bathroom and we wanted to stay within a certain budget. I would highly recommend them.

"This is the 3rd time I've had these company do work for me. They are all very professional and quick. I had a very large room installed with carpet as well as tile and it is beautiful. They always have me inspect their work and do any repairs if needed. This was done in one day. The work was done so beautifully that I called them back the same week and had them install tile in my kitchen and they were very quick to do that, also in one day. The floor was in pretty bad shape under the existing tile and, was pretty noisy when walked on. They walked the kitchen, found everything that made noise and screwed down. I no longer have a noisy floor and it's wonderful. They put down a sub floor and none slip tile so I no longer worry about slipping plus it's beautiful. We did find a couple of things that needed repair on the tile and Angle, the installer came back on Sunday and repaired them. He was wonderful and professional and I would definitely have them all do work for me again. Actually Angle did the downstairs tile and we requested him back to do the kitchen. I still have a couple of rooms that need carpet and I wouldn't hesitate to call them back. The gentleman that originally came out was

"Overall the project went very well there were only a couple of glitches a slight miscalculation in the quantity of carpet caused a delay in complete installation however there was not cost impact. Also a couple subcontractors used for the installation were not the most cooperative in placing the furniture back were it was originally located but all in all the experience went very well and we we extremely pleased with the final results. Lastly I should say we were most pleased with the time, patience, and efforts, the company owner and associates provided us."

"Excellent! When the store we purchased the vinyl from, dropped the ball as far as delivery date/time,
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked

arrived exactly on the agreed start time, left the room spotless when finished, and the vinyl (simulated hardwood) looks fantastic. All at an outstanding price. Exemplary professionalism is, unfortunately somewhat of a rarity these days, so to find such an excellent and professional company like
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
to fulfill our current and future flooring needs is very comforting.

"The project went very well and finished on schedule and budget. They worked with me to help me select the items I wanted (as well as getting my own tile selection at a local tile outlet)..."

"Excellently.
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was informative about their work schedule and considerate of ours. They came to us with several choices of tile, each one carefully selected to coordinate with the kitchen cabinetry and wood flooring. The new backsplash accentuates the Silestone countertop and brightens the whole kitchen but the work is so seamless, it looks like it has always been part of the kitchen remodel. "

"I have known
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
for about 15 years, he USED TO be one of the best flooring guys around.
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
got a check in August 2010 from the owner of the building for $23,000.00 for materials, $646.00 more then his bid. I usually don't pay for materials until they get to the job, but I knew
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and trusted him. His bank held the check for around 9 weeks, I think. Then he had to order the carpet and vinyl and that took a few more weeks. So he didn't get started untill Late October or early November. When
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
did get here he had 3 subs and one son. I call them subs becouse they told me they didn,t get paid untill
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
got paid. In the fist week I caught two of his guys smoking pot just outside one of the units. I told them there is no smoking in the units and no pot on the job site.

and I had to come to an agreement on what he was going to do. He didn't want to pull up the old vinyl and just

over it. I showed him that it was peeling up and easy to pull up. he said he would pull up the old stuff. He also didn't want to remove and replace the toilets, he always did in the past. So we agreed I would supply new wax rings and bolts and he would pull and replace the toilets. Not sure if it was the 2nd or 3rd week
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
didn't show up, he sent his subs. He didn't tell me he was going to do this. They had to borrow tools and ask me what to do, what floors to replace,if the carpet was patched or replaced. I don't know if
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
told them and they forgot, or if
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
thought I would run his subs for him. I got 6 invoices from
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
on November 11 2010. Out of the 6, 5 had a punch list of little things that he didn,t finish or had to do again. The 6th one was the one I was moving into and was cut short of time to have him fix anything. Then he slowed down. I got invoices on 11/17, 12/7,8,9 and 2 on 12/10 and one on 12/14. All of them had things that he didn't finish. On one of his trips he had the carpet and vinyl in a trailer and covered with ice and snow from the drive up here and cut the carpet on the snow covered parking lot. Then he didn't show up or return my phone calls. When I did get him on the phone his exuses were wifes car broke down, warehouse sold the materials he supposedly paid for. I couldn't E-Mail him becouse he said he didn't have a computer. I googled him and found him here, I still don't have his E-Mail address. Then he quit. I sent him a letter saying that it was OK but I needed him to bring up the materails he was paid for and that he would be charged for the punch list and cleaning of the apartment that he and his subs used. Then he called me and didn't want to quit. I told him OK but he needed to get it done soon. This was in the begining of February. He showed up on Friday the 11 th. with his son at 2 pm. I cought him that Saturday trying to put new carpet over the old pad. His son said they were just letting the carpet
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
flat and they were not going to install it. I might have believed him if he didn't smell like he just smoked pot. They left Sunday at 3:30 pm. He come came back Friday the 18 th. at noon. He had some padding with him. I asked him to call me when the padding was down in the next unit. He didn't. Then his truck broke down. So he stayed until Monday the 21 st. when a tow truck could get him. He did part of the punch list with my wife letting him into the apartments and watching him. Just when he was ready to leave he gave my wife 3 invoices. I looked at the units he invoiced for and they were not even close to done. So I fired him and took a closer look at the work he did. It was the worst I have ever seen. He didn't put the toilets back on, left trash in the units, didn't vacuum, even though he borrowed mine. I decided to take a good at all the work he did. In most of the units he laid the vinyl over the old stuff that was dirty and had paint on it from when we spray painted the units. He just cut off what was peeling up next to the walls and laid the new without using floor leveler. Under the dishwashers he just cut around the legs and some of them have the new vinyl peeling up. On most of it he didn't put the vinyl under the thresholds or transition strips. He just cut it and caulked it. Same thing with the trim pieces next to the tub that someone put there to hold down the old vinyl that was peeling up. In conclusion
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
did shoddy work, didn't do what he said he would, was late or didn't show up. In some units he didn't vacuum and in most units there was glue on the floor.
Aurora Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
will be billed for the materials needed to finish the job, and the materials and labor to fix what he did wrong and was paid for. I sure hope that he dos have company insurance.
