Pete Mueller knows all aspects of construction work. He has pride in craft, which unfortunately is not easy to find. If there is one quality that stands out with Pete, it's honesty. Javier, the President of the company, was very easy to work with and when we wanted to add additional work, he made it happen over the phone. Jose' performed the paint job and he was very careful to cover floors and other areas before doing the job. Jose' did an outstanding job. AThe Woodsman, LLCJeff’s caliber of skill is excellent. He installed shaker kitchen and bathroom cabinets in my home and worked around several challenges. The walls and floors in my home are far from level, but he managed to balance out the rooms so that the adjoining walls and cabinets looked even. His workmanship on trim and crown molding is excellent. Everything was uniform with no visible seams. He and Scott were very professional, flexible and pleasant to work with. AAll the work went well. Paulo was very professional and responsive. We had a few delays that were out of his hands - mostly due to suppliers who were behind schedule. Nothing major, but Paulo communicated about all of these in a timely fashion. We replaced all of our vinyl siding with James Hardie board. Also replaced several exterior windows. Paulo also replaced all of our old gutters. Everything was painted to order including old soffets and fascia. Someone touched up the drywall texturing around the new windows and then painted everything to match. The work was done efficiently. They paid attention to detail and fabricated nice trims around outlets and utility vents. My only gripe would be that they didn't leave the roof clean, and after the first rain, I found a lot of debris and nails that had blown down into the yard and driveway. Everybody on his crew was friendly and respectful. There was always at least one person on site who spoke perfect English.

AVivax came through despite COVID-19 and poor weather! Anna Johnson was a fledgling foreman, but kept in close contact with Jesus (the painter, not the carpenter) & her boss to get everything perfect. They even "cut-in" the trim around the gutters on both sides, which is a lot of extra work! Anna was very thorough with the final inspection, and when I found a minor touch-up needed she sent Jesus back out just 2 days later to take care of it even though it was super minor. Did I mention they rushed out to start & finish my job just before the weather set in to meet my timeline? Simply awesome. The real gem here was Jacob Greiner, the original salesman / estimator. Jacob stuck with me and worked with my insurance company over 4 months to get the full house paid! Other paint pros weren't even willing to come out to quote a partial job, which is all the insurance was authorizing initially. Vivax's warranty sounds great too; more of a maintenance plan for the life of the warranty than a simple one-time defect correction. Of course we'll see in the long run how that all plays out, but a transferable warranty is very handy. Thanks again Vivax!

AWe have lived in our home since 1996 and have had our house painted many times by at least four different painting contractors. I started looking for another painting contractor who not only paints houses but also repairs and replaces siding. I have seen “Sheppard’s Painting” and Sheppard’s Total Exteriors” signs in a several yards and then a friend told me that they are a very good company so I added them to my list of contractors to call. We needed lots of siding repairs due to a roof replacement that left a lot to be desired. We had no idea that the roofers neglected to put up new flashing material after they removed it where the roof meets the fireplace. The damage was extensive and we needed to get the siding replaced and repaired before further damage was caused. I called the first two contractors on my list to get an estimate. Each guy had a totally different take on what was needed to repair and paint our house. There estimate felt like they were guessing, one said that they would know more once they got started, the other one said the range could be anywhere from $4,500.00 to $7,500.00 and I had to keep my same paint colors. I was not impressed with them at all. I called Sheppard’s and spoke to Debbie she was so nice and helpful. She set up a time the next day for Tom to stop by and take at look at my house. From the start I could tell that Tom was different than the other contractors. We walked around the house and he pointed out the problem areas we chatted the whole time, he was so easy to talk to. We talked about the colors and he said “you should always change your colors for the best results”, that made sense to me and after spending 30 minutes together he gave me a written estimate; which was very fair $5,900.00 for everything, I accepted it and wrote a check for the deposit to get put on his books. When Sheppard’s crew showed up they started in right away. They were efficient and skilled. I was amazed how they prepped the house, using the first day to get the house ready to be painted that impressed me because the previous contractors used a few containers of caulk, I don‘t think they even used any primer before they started to paint. Sheppard’s attention to details was incredible! They replaced a lot of the siding, power-washed the whole outside of the house, scraped the chipped areas, caulked where needed and then primed all the areas that needed it. They worked hard throughout the three days they spent on my house. At the end of each day they picked up everything and made sure my gates were closed so my dogs would not get out. I would HIGHLY recommend “Sheppard’s Total Exteriors”, for siding repair or replacement and “Sheppard’s Painting” for superior house painting.
