Concrete Repair reviews in Aurora

  • Outstanding! Cesar is the best! He helped us to envision and conceptualize the design and coached us through pre-work preparation (we had to remove some hedges, relocate sprinkler system, etc.). Overall: really awesome results!!

  • The process was incredibly smooth. The staff was excellent. Extremely polite and professional. They came on the day promised and on time. The concrete was poured exactly when they promised. I have worked with many contractors and this crew truly shined! Usually there is at least one member that is a little rough around the edges and slightly rude but these guys were great. They answered every question, no matter how many times I asked and never made me feel stupid or demanding. The crew just "jived". They worked so well together and my satisfaction was their top priority. They will be my concrete contractor from here on out!!!!

  • I called Arturo to put up some garden walls in the front of my house. He was very punctual (something I was having an issue with with other contractors). After speaking with him about the walls, I quickly came to the conclusion that he could be my answer for the patio I was wanting to build. Arturo did a BEAUTIFUL job. He had lots of great suggestions and we ended up with garden walls, a new sidewalk and a fantastic patio. I would hire Arturo again - he was a pleasure to work with and really more than just a masonry guy - he is quite the artist!

  • Dave was great to work with and did an awesome professional job. We're finishing a basement and needed a channel cut in the concrete to install a drain line as well as another square cut to move some other fixtures. All of it had to be refilled after the plumber did his job. Dave was great with scheduling. He also really knows his stuff when it comes to concrete. I will definitely use him again for an outdoor job in the spring.

  • The tear-out and the replace went extremely well. I was very happy with the service. My only complaint was that I contacted them by email and phone several times to get someone to repair a crack in the patio within the 1-year warranty. Someone was to contact me but never did. I did call several times and left a message.

  • It went very well and we are quite happy and satisfied with the work. The crew arrived on time in the morning both days. Finished the tear out and prep the first day. And finished pouring the concrete by noon the 2nd day. They also replaced two fence posts that needed to be taken down once they started the RV pad. But did not add any more to the price for this extra work. Crew was very competent and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this company. Road Base and ReBar is what they use normally!

  • They called a couple times because I haven't done anything with it yet. It was extremely expensive to lift the cement and the basement floor and the stuff you need to lift the cement and the pipes in the floor in the basement. It's all encased in cement. That's not a good thing. They advertise covering the crawl space to make it look better. That's really a half basement. The floor sinks like 2 inches in one corner. I wanted it to be lifted so that it's level. In the middle of it, the builder cut out some of the cement to hold up the beam. Over the years, the cement in that patch has settled. Every time the sewer backed up, it goes down through all those cracks below the basement floor. All the dirt and sewer water grows mold and all kinds of stuff. I had those cracks sealed. I wanted them to fill in all the space under there and lift the cement to an even level. That would take care of both the problems. They were in and out. They looked it over and gave me information. They said they don't recommend that here. It could seal all the pipes in the future. They would pour new cement into the basement and be one big mess. They are the only people I talked to. They've had 2 people call since then and touch base to find out if we were going to use them. I've never seen people follow up before. They could lower the price. I'd ask if they've had a need to call them or not. They came out and gave me information. I haven't read all the information. I am thinking there is something in there to qualify the price. He said to read the information and get back with them. They advertise on tv and everything.

  • This company is the AWESOME! I don't live in the area and my property manager refused to help unless I went with whom she chose. I was a little worried about putting a deposit down on something I wouldn't have "eyes on" not knowing if the work was being done. This company did not only meet my expectations, they exceeded them! They communicated every aspect of the job and even sent pictures of their work. This family owned business is a cohesive team, you can definitely see the care, quality and pride they put into their work. If you're looking for quality concrete work, this is the company to hire! Prices are very competitive. You won't go wrong choosing this STA Construction, this I can assure you. I would definitely hire them again!

  • We initially hired Kent to repair a crack in our patio and some boards around the base of the columns. Kent is a perfectionist and did an excellent job. We can't even see where the original crack was. He wasn't satisfied with the way the wood was cut by the local hardware store, so he made his own cuts to ensure that the wood fit snugly around the base of the columns. We were so pleased with his work that we hired him to do some tile repair work in our bathroom. The replacement tiles were cut and installed perfectly. We can't tell see a difference between where the replaced tiles were installed and the existing tiles. Again we were so happy with the results, that we hired Kent to refinish the wood floors in our kitchen and nook. Again, he was a perfectionist when it came to ensuring that the stain was evenly applied as well as the two coats of polyurethane. Kent always took the time to explain what he planned on doing each day and also what progress was made at the end of they day. He is both personable and as mentioned above, very professional. I would highly recommend him and plan to use him for any future projects around our home.

  • Dave & crew were great! Dave came out to give an estimate and explained everything thoroughly. Dave instructed us on how to install fence posts in the middle of where the concrete would be poured. He even brought by the tube to set the post in, that needed to be done before they laid concrete. He also instructed us on how to set the underground drain pipe from the house downspout. They started the job when promised. Got it done quickly. Great workmanship! Very happy with the outcome. i would hire him again. The neighbors admired it. One neighbor even asked for his phone number.
