ADonald Adams ExcavationsIt went great considering we had a few set backs with Mueller in Albuquerque shorting us on the propane. Donald and his crew worked in cold,rain, wind, and snow to get these 4 sheds completed just in time for Christmas. He worked very hard to make sure we knew what was happening and when his crew would be there to work. It was much appreciated. He was also very understanding when we added a few more details to the sheds.- Nihla M.

He works quickly, easy to communicate with and he is there when he says he will be there. Our drywall repair was done quickly and looks great! His pricing for all he does is more than fair!! FUnfortunately, our experience with Dan was about as bad as it could be. We were given a timeline of 5 weeks in mid February and, after months of ignored emails, finally received drawings in mid-June, 17 weeks later. Once submitted for permitting, the county realized that the snow load information was incorrect and rejected the plans. Frustrating to say the least. In discussing the requisite changes over the phone, Dan seemed unaware of fairly standard industry terms in residential construction (rake wall, difference between ceiling joist and roof rafter, cut roof vs truss, etc) which made us uncomfortable, to say the least. Keep in mind, this is after months of radio silence and considering we'd have to start from scratch with another engineer. Things were discussed three, four times and necessary changes still not made. Fortunately we work with our building department a lot, and these can be addressed in the field. I understand that delays happen. I understand that things can get complicated, often quickly. That said, I expect a level of professionalism, communication, and competence when paying someone for their service. You're a smart consumer and will do as you wish, but we will never, under any circumstance, be using Dan and J2.26 Engineering ever again.

AAfter the inspection was performed, Vernon, call me right away. He informed me of the extent of the foundation damage , and what was the root cause of it. The house was recently flipped, and his photos showed the poor quality of workmanship by the company, heat ducting smashed closed, no pads for blocking if the floor beams, a portion of the crawl space was so narrow, it would only be able to be accessed from the top side.He also provided me with a verbal ball park estamate on what it would take to correct these problems.

DNot sure what happened to this company as I've used them in the past with reasonable results, but try or not, they succeeded in convincing me that they neither value their customers nor their product. With my second nearly $4k shed, the doors were installed in a "V" shape and there was a large gap allowing water and insects in. Lost a day of work for the day they were going to fix it and no-showed without bothering to let me know. Call after call, promise after promise and I gave up. I guess I really bought the wholesome local family business thing and didn't even consider another company. They have lost my respect and business.
