    Power Home Remodeling
My experience with Power Home Remodeling was really good. They were almost always prompt with communication (there was one incident of failure to communicate) and the installation was pretty quick. The crew that installed were very polite, cleaned up after themselves and got the job done in two days.

    Beams to Basements Contractors, LLC
We are very happy with all the work that was done! Mim, Josh and Chris were really easy to work with and followed through with everything that was discussed. They were happy to take our smaller jobs inside our home and did so with professionalism and the work is top notch.

    Complete Basement Systems
We spent several weeks with a sales rep from Complete Basement Systems to get a quote completed that met my needs. Their main office was rather relentless to get me to book the quote with Complete Basement Systems. Eventually we did book with them and paid our deposit for the quote and scheduled a date. It was only after that that Complete Basement Systems got back to me, and despite using a software program step-guide to produce my quote, the sales rep had somehow neglected to include some insurance coverage which covered Complete Basement Systems (not me), which increased the price of the quote by several hundred dollars. Again, this was after I had already signed the quote and paid the deposit, and after numerous opportunities for Complete Basement Systems to catch the mistake. It's very disappointing that Complete Basement Systems would secure a quote and deposit from a potential customer only to change what their quote would be, when the change was not due to conditions at the job site, but rather mistakes made by Complete Basement Systems.

    K and K Klassic Designs
Purchased our windows and had the installation done with K&K Klassic Designs, the price was quite a bit lower for similar or same windows through other companies. One of our windows was a custom bay, 1 picture and 2 casement windows) which was built onsite and came out great. Overall we got quality replacement windows installed for a great price and are very happy.

    Power Home Remodeling
I have had a horrible experience using Power Home Remodeling. The only part of the project that went as expected was the window installation. The salesperson sold us on more expensive windows with an a/c vent that, when our first project manager (Maxwell) came to the house, said couldn't be installed. However, there wasn't a discount for the cheaper windows as he said they were the same price; contradicting the salesperson. Even though we were paying with cash, the salesperson said that they had to run a credit check, but it wasn't an application and wouldn't show up on our credit report. WRONG it was a credit application and did show up on our credit report along with all of the details of our "loan" (with an extremely enormous interest rate) from a third party credit company. We still ended up being able to pay with a check, but we were still lied to. My wife and I spent weeks trying to get the project manager to send us a picture of what the actual window will look like since it wasn't what the salesperson had shown us. He just ignored our calls and emails. We should have cancelled then, but, unfortunately, did not. I started trying, again, to contact the project manager a week before the install to confirm. We finally got a response the day before that said a scheduler would call with my new project manager (Matt). The scheduler did call and give us Matt's phone number. I tried to call Matt to confirm, with no success. The installation crew did come at the time they were originally scheduled for months before. I thought the crew was courteous and did a great job. After the installation, I told them I was paying with a check. They called the project manager---miraculously getting ahold of him---to get the final price and schedule an inspection. I paid them and thought everything was going to turn out okay. However, the inspection did not happen on the date that Matt gave me. I even checked the outdoor cameras to confirm that I just didn't hear them. I've been calling Matt and leaving voice messages with no response. Now I have the HOA telling me that I have to take down the big blue Power Home Remodeling stickers off of my windows, but Matt said they had to stay until the inspection is over. I would not recommend Power Home Remodeling to anyone.

    Acorn Glass Inc
Very pleasant experience: great communication, on time, careful with our property, excellent quality work. Explained what they were doing and why and explained alternatives. Very friendly and inspired confidence. Definitely will hire again.

    Expert Exteriors
Jeff Preihs, our project manager oversaw the replacement of our roof with a lifetime hail resistant upgrade, which was covered by our State Farm Insurance policy. The roofing crew was exceptional, the job was completed in one day and the cleanup was A+. Jeff explained everything in detail, was on site to supervise and was a fantastic project manager.

    JDI Windows
Rex was was great in providing us the break down on the labor and cost. There was also no pressure from Rex to use JDI, which we experienced with one of the other companies. We had two other companies come out to bid and Rex saved us thousands of dollars. Joe and Michael showed up on time and did a wonderful job. They cleaned up everything afterwards and even sealed around the new door we just had installed from another company who did not seal it! Michael even provided us with a cost on replacing some bricks out front that were coming apart. Will use them again and enjoyed how down to earth everyone was and how easy the whole process was!

    American Remodeling Inc
Let me start with the one thing that I most want to share with potential customers of American Remodeling: GET OTHER QUOTES _BEFORE_ MEETING WITH THE AMERICAN REMODELING SALESPERSON. The salesperson told me that he often offers special pricing but it must be accepted that day, and he says they never honor these special quotes after the day it was offered. I realize this is a ploy frequently used by shady salespeople to quickly close the deal, but for various reasons (mostly just being horribly impatient and the glowing reviews of the company I had read), I agreed to it. I have a number of other complaints and regrets, which I go into in depth below (feel free to skip), but the windows are very nice and the installation appears to have been very competent. Here are my other complaints, which I discussed with two people from American Remodeling on the phone. I include their plausible explanations, but all in all I was left unsatisfied. 1. I was charged close to $6000 for 7 windows, but in 2 quotes I had done after the fact, both companies could have given me very good (but perhaps not as great) vinyl windows for $4000. The people at American Remodeling said their windows were more efficient and they have a better warrantee, but even with those things in mind I would have gone with one of the other companies had I known their price. 2. The quote was a single amount for all 7 Windows, not broken down by window, as Ive seen every other replacement windows quote Ive seen. This makes it much harder to understand the pricing and negotiate with the salesperson. I forgot to mention this specific issue with them on the phone. 3. I was supposedly being offered a fantastic special offer, and in return I would be asked to put a sign of theirs in my front yard for a month. I wasnt offered a sign, and no mention was made of it till I brought it up, which made me think the whole special offer was a fiction, but they said they had simply run out of signs. 4. John, the salesperson, introduced himself as the General Manager, when in fact he is the General Manager of Marketing in this region, or something to that affect. I think this is clearly deceptive, but their explanation was that he is _a_ General Manger, so hes free to use that title. 5. Their windows were clearly advertised as EnergyStar certified, but technically the windows I received are not. This was clearly shown in a map on the NFRC sticker, but these stickers were removed from all of the windows, supposedly because they wanted to wash the windows for me. The removed stickers were supposed to be given to me but were not. They said that the installer must have forgotten to give them to me. I got scans of the stickers from the windows manufacturer. The windows energy efficiency number were actually quite excellent. Maybe they removed the stickers to avoid confusion? Still, Id rather they had explained this to me, which they did when I asked, instead of maybe trying to hide this from me. MAYBE everything they did and said was above board, maybe not, I just dont knowits just that there were so many things, at least seen in hindsight, that were off.

    Prestige Products Windows & Siding
We used Prestige for window installation on our current home after a great experience we had with them about 8 years ago in our previous home. We have worked with both Don and his son to custom order entire house windows for each job and we were happy with the pricing. Don did a great job of helping us with a very specific safety feature we were wanting for our kid's bedrooms while keeping the window style consistent. As far as the install process, we couldn't be happier. The same father/son team installed the windows in both homes, and it was a pleasure having them around for a few days. Bonus points for being great with our dog, who can be quite a handful! We have also had one interaction with Bobby, the service technician, and he really went above and beyond to help us out with one of our windows.
