    Everyone in the office is very friendly and eager to help and Dr. Jeong is very thorough during the exam which I really appreciated. Previous doctors would only spend a few minutes with me. They also have a very large selection of eye wear. Deciding on a frame is probably the toughest choice!

    I'm very disappointed the first time here, the eye exam was very unorganized they couldn't get my insurance to work right I have never had a problem with my VSP, I had a contact lens exam and the power changed a small amount so they proceeded to give me some trial lenses well I got home and noticed the one should be AX 70, but she had gave me a 170 definitely NOT going to work I stop back by and of course they are out of stock of the 70 I needed, they guy at the front says he will order the right one and it should be 2 days, a week goes by and no call so I call them and get put on hold for awhile and told they will call me back, End if day comes guess what NO call back, so I call them AND MAGICALLY they have the lense now.......... I stop by to pick it up and it's also the wrong power and also noticed the lens I thought was right it's very expired..... So at this point I'm honestly not to confident the whole exam is even right... I will be taking my business elsewhere that's for sure Oh and to top it off the guy at the front will charge your card twice and they will send you a bill because they can't change you right the first time for the eye Photos of $39.00 so now I get to waste more of my time with this joke of a place to write a check for $39 bucks

    RUN, DON’T WALK AWAY. FAR, FAR AWAY. Vision Care Specialists had been our family eye care practice for years, however, since being purchased by My Eye Doctor, we will NEVER go back. The knowledgeable, caring, competent, professional staff has been replaced with rude, low quality, condescending, incompetent, unprofessional employees. I went to the Lakewood office today to have my $1500 glasses adjusted, look at new frames, and book our annual five appointments, which translates to a SIGNIFICANT purchase. Upon entering, I was greeted by the “employee” that works with the glasses, ordering me back onto the doormat from about ten feet away. (I realize “optician” is her title, but her demeanor did not warrant the courtesy of that title.) After admonishing me for not having an appointment, she agreed to the grand gesture of adjusting my glasses. While waiting, I touched/tried on a couple of frames. Annoyed, she instructed me to give them back immediately to be sterilized. I wasn’t even finished trying them on. When I lowered my mask to see how the frames looked, from a back room she directed me to leave my mask on. I was the ONLY person in the room! If the new business model is to exude an overarching attitude of condescension and superiority, they’ve nailed it. However, it is hard not to notice the decline in business. After patronizing this office for so many years, I have never seen the waiting room empty nor the phones quiet. Usually there are busy employees, multiple patients, phones ringing, doctors milling about, coffee brewing....Not anymore. The only employee behind the desk never acknowledged me, although I had mentioned appointments. She did, however, take a phone call being very curt and unprofessional with the caller. For a group of people with limited personal and professional skills, they are surprisingly arrogant. After this short twenty minute encounter, certain we would never set foot in this office again, I made a decision. I handled and tried on about twenty frames, leaving them on counters and desks. I figured without patients, those employees will need something to keep them busy. Might as well disinfect until lunch. You’re welcome.

    I had a complicated situation which required replacing the lenses on an older pair of glasses which were scratched and chipped. These were the last glasses with which I could see very well. Newer pair bought locally were nothing but problems with headaches. I talked to both managers and they were great - patient, reviewed issues, offered advice, made suggestions with pros/cons, and finally settled on replacing lenses as they were without making any changes with newer technology due to potential issues. All of this was explained in meaningful way which made sense. I couldn't be happier.

    My background for ten years was in ophthalmology. Never have I experienced an exam so through and complete with ample time with the optometrist. Dr. Patel's exam is more typical at an ophthalmologist who has an MD. She screens glaucoma, macular issues, and more. Any where else you just get fitted for glasses with if lucky a machine reading for other eye issues. Her staff is efficient and well trained.

    Pretty well.--The order was for Polycarbonate, Progressive, Transition lenses.--The lenses arrived and were not made with the Transition feature. I had to ship back and they were redone properly the second time.

    One of the best online experiences I have ever had. My wife and I went back and forth about whether I should trust something as important as my eyes to an online optician. I decided to give it a shot, even though I had a fairly complicated prescription (severe myopia, presbyopia, astigmatism--you name it). With local opticians charging $600 and ReplaceALens asking $213, I figured I would give it a try. All I can say is that they nailed it. Couldn't be happier. I would not hesitate to use them again.

    Went well. Good online and onphone service. Quick turnaround. Local opticians would not do the work on these RayBan curved frame glasses so I have no point of comparison for price.

    This is my second time to place an order. They aren't the cheapest but still good prices. They are always helpful and friendly on the phone and also when I needed a return. My only regret is that they have no senior or Angie's List discount. You can order with confidence through them, just make sure you have all your measurements from your doctor. It is much less than ordering through the local optometrist. I ordered 2 pr of progressive lenses with transition lenses.
