Cabinet Making reviews in Arvada

This was a fairly large home remodel and addition project. Paramount did an outstanding job and I would certainly hire them again. My project involved the removal of an exterior wall and the placement of a beam in that wall to extend the house. It was complicated, and it needed firepower and expertise, which these guys had. They did an excellent job and nothing was too complicated for them. They maintain constant communications with rapid callbacks and with their mobile app. The mobile app also keeps the homeowner abreast of all change orders and the status of the project. Importantly, the mobile app keeps a constant watch of the total project cost. Overall, these guys were fabulous and I would highly recommend them.

This is the second time I've used Quality Woodworks, LLC to put down flooring and install kitchen cabinets.   The first time was a couple of years ago at my old house, and then this time at my new home that needed an entire kitchen remodel.  Both times they did an excellent job for me.  They are thorough, clean, professional, and budget-friendly.  My kitchen and the floor are both gorgeous.  When faced with some measurement issues, they made it work by installing custom shelving for me.  They also made me a beautiful custom walnut table that is attached to my kitchen island.  The remnants have been made into custom cutting boards.  I couldn't be more pleased!

Overall the remodeling went well and we are very happy with the final results.

We worked with Levi Maxwell for several months planning the remodeling.  This effort was conducted at our home, in Paramount's office, and over the internet and phone.  Levi was very patient with our frequent changes and receptive to new ideas.  He helped with the designing and ordering of cabinets, appliances, shelving, tile, and countertops.

Max Maxwell coordinated the remodeling and permitting efforts, using both Paramount employees and subcontractors.  Max communicated well with us throughout the remodeling.  He explained the work that had been completed and about to be done, what plan modifications were necessary, and the expected schedule.  Max frequently worked along side the others and insured the work was completed.

The remodeling took longer than planned, 9 months instead of 4 months.  This was partly due to changes in the scope of work because we requested additional things (eg: removal of back patio cover, extending the stone flooring everywhere, painting the entire ground level, and extending the balcony over the breakfast bump-out).  But it was also due to subcontractors being busy with other projects, so that often several weeks would pass without any progress on our house.

At the end of the day, we have a beautiful home that fits our needs and our tastes.  We are very proud of it.

Working with everyone at Amish Cabinets of Denver was a wonderful experience. Andrea was able to provide a quick quote with drawings after visiting our home and taking measurements. My husband and I really like hickory cabinets, but most of the pricing that we had received was extremely expensive. Imagine our surprise that the Amish Cabinets of Denver quote for hickory cabinets was by far the most affordable. It was really fun to sit down with Andrea and Allison in their showroom to select the door style, stain, crown molding and hardware that we wanted to make them truly customized to our taste. Rolando and his crew were very careful during the tear out and completely cleaned up the debris afterwards. When they came back to do the installation, they did an amazing job. The cabinets are absolutely gorgeous, and we couldn't be happier with the quality.

Just to demonstrate what an outstanding value these cabinets are, we received a quote from another company for ready-to-assemble cabinets made in China. For just a bit more money, we were able to get cabinets from Amish Cabinets of Denver made to order by craftsmen in the USA from locally sourced hickory. We are extremely pleased with our choice and would recommend Amish Cabinets of Denver to anyone who is considering a kitchen remodel.

We are happy with our experience with Paramount Remodeling and would recommend them to others. Our team, led by Max, helped us through our basement build out which included design, build and decorate to finished state. Max helped us work through our wish list, but his experience helped us be realistic within our budget. We were in constant contact throughout the build process which I liked. Overall I was impressed with the team Max assembled. Framer and electrician were particularly good, being innovative with our space. During the process we encountered a couple of unforeseen issues, but Max was professional and we worked through it amicably. Our family is very happy with the finished product.

everything went as planned. i did all the initial work on the plans with home depot and tom went down and fine tuned everything for me with them. i had a date to be finished by for thanksgiving and he did it. tom worked weekends and evenings to my surprise. here it is a year later and the kitchen still looks brand new with no problems to be found. i have recommended tom to other friends with the same results from them. i am looking forward to more improvements to my house as a new deck on the rear porch and even a third car garage and will be calling tom in the near future

The InnerMost area rep brought an InnerMost wall cabinet with a cut-away section removed so that I could see the case construction.  The unbanded, raw edge had layers, but they were unlike any plywood I have ever seen, lacking the clean, well-defined lamina most people would associate with plywood. Instead, the edges had the fuzzy, soft, "dirty" look of compressed particle board sheets glued into layers.  I told her that I had contracted to pay the upgrade (~ $1,000, or 10%) for "all-plywood" construction. I pointed to the exposed edge and asked, "So... is that plywood?" And she replied "Yes".  I produced my "Materials Contract" which required the rep and Home Depot saleswoman to vouch for the "all-plywood construction", in each of its parts.  My contract stipulated "materials" and "thickness" for each of the cabinet's components.  When I asked her to fill in the blanks and sign, she was taken aback, shook her head, and said I would have to send it to her corporate offices instead.  I went ahead and walked through the "inventory" of cabinet parts: drawer and cabinet sides, floors, backs, fronts, door panels, frames, stretchers, nailers, etc... and filled in her responses for each part. The k.d. and floor manager watched without saying anything.  When the Elkay rep had identified every one of the 16 cabinet parts as "plywood" or "cherry", I turned to my kitchen designer and asked again, "Is my purchase order for 'plywood', or for 'all plywood'?" and she quickly assured me "All plywood." I informed all three women that if my purchase arrived at my house, and any part of it were not "all plywood" as the IM rep had just told me, I would return the entire order.  At one point the rep told me indignantly she has sold this product for some 15 years.   At the end of the meeting, the Home Depot floor manager gave me her card, and said I should reach her if I have any questions.  The misrpresentation of the materials was carried through the entire meeting, with no correction.
That night, the kitchen designer addressed an e-mail to me forwarding two PDFs that the area rep had sent to her.  One of these files was an Innermost "Fact Sheet", the other the "Warranty" for this cabinet set.  My kd prefaced the e-mail as containing some good information that would help to answer some more questions, but it was clear that this was the answer to my questions all along, about what I would really be getting. The note from her vendor stated merely that I should be fully informed to make my choice.  But there was a strong implication that they had both decided to cover their a**** before selling this product to me.  The fact sheet made clear that InnerMost considers their proprietary mdf-cored plywood to be their highest quality product. Upgrades, I must infer, would be to this, not to plywood.  The warranty bore this out, with caveats (I think they deserve the expression weasel-words) that InnerMost can at any time substitute materials other than those spelled out in their contracts.
What that tells me is essentially that my "upgrade" would be no such thing - I would be getting the same mdf "sandwich" as in the
"standard" cabinet whether I like it or not.  Other reps, in the two other HD stores warned me of this before my own did, advising me to buy "custom" cabinets if I wanted to be sure I got plywood.  Why they beat my own designer to the puch, I don't know, but then they didn't have an $8,000 contract at stake. My suspicions were further confirmed when I wrote up a fairly damning complaint against HD, sent it to my k.d. and her managers, and again demanded that they spell it out: Does HD sell ANY all-plywood cabinet?
I was bombarded by confidentiality memos from H.D., limiting all my e-mails and precluding references to theirs.  I don't believe any of my own e-mail transmissions are proprietary, or able to be censored for their legal protection.  Nevertheless, their legal threats ensued.  For those reasons, I paraphrase my kd's answers:
Yes, we sell several lines of cabinets with "all-plywood" upgrades; they just don't use all-plywood materials.
Don't take my word for this. I hope all cabinet customers begin demanding that HD account for this unscrupulous behavior.  It is nothing short of lying. As far as I'm concerned, they can sell cabinets made out of ice cream sandwiches, but if a customer asks for
all-plywood, that's what he should get.

Not on single problem just the normal inconvenience of having your kitchen gone for a week. The end result is the nicest room in our home. Don't let the fancy showroom intimidate you. They can work with any reasonable budget, they are friendly, and they stand behind their work better than any company I have ever dealt with.

From our first meeting, Mike has been friendly and professiona, asking questions to assure that he had the same picture of the project as we did.  He was timely and efficient.  Cleaned up the project site everyday so it was easy to come home to. Mike was great to work with and we did hire him to work on some additional projects following the completion of the deck, including a beautiful built-in craftsman style china cablinet currently in progress.  Love it!

Joe and his son took care of everything. It was beautiful. They did it on schedule. The estimate was exactly right. We have been really pleased. I would highly recommend them for any kind of work that they do.
