    Horizon Construction & Remodeling Inc
We contracted Horizon Remodeling to remodel our fireplace and paint our kitchen, family room, living room and hallway. Eitan Beznos managed the project and was extremely conscientious making sure all work was done correctly and completed as promised. He met with us frequently to check progress and make sure work was done to our satisfaction. When we asked for additional electrical work, he arranged for an excellent electrician named Tomer who did a fantastic job for us, We would recommend Horizon Remodeling. Work was well done and finished earlier than promised.

With our first call, we were able to obtain an appointment to have someone give us an estimate to redo our front yard. Henry arrived right on time as promised. We discussed what we envisioned--adding stone to a column and a section of the front of the house, construct some steps leading down to sidewalk, construct new walkways, low maintenance plants with low water usage and lots of color. Henry asked us some questions and then got out a yellow tablet and drew a sketch. It was exactly our vision. He later sent us a computerized draft of the project. He also took the time to meet us at a nursery where he showed us plants that worked with our requirements and asked us to show him the ones we liked. The work started sooner than we expected. The CCL crews are all very polite and extremely hard working. They have a great work ethic. All our neighbors commented on this. They cleaned up after everyday's work and stacked their equipment and supplies out of our way every evening. The work took a month to complete. Henry came by most days to see how the work was progressing and to see if we had any concerns or questions. It was a very easy process. Henry was very patient with me since there were lots of decisions to be made; and I was unsure how to proceed. He steered me towards the right decisions, bringing multiple samples of everything--pavers, stone, etc.--so I could feel confident in my choices. We absolutely love the end result. Henry is very personable and easy to work with. He actually provided us with larger versions of a couple of trees we purchased and also gave us a couple of spotlights for free. His guys also installed our mailbox post, even though it was not in the contract. I would not hesitate one minute in using CCL again or referring them to friends and family. Choose CCL; you won't regret it!

    Horizon Construction & Remodeling Inc
While searching for a quartz counter top to coordinate with my existing beige flooring, I discovered Horizon. They had what I wanted and secured a backsplash with a mosaic to complete the color scheme. Mark is a hands on contractor-owner . He oversees every step of the job and there is little down time in the process. The workers willingly try to accommodate customer requests. If an installation is not satisfactory, it is corrected. Horizon does an excellent job for the price charged. Arlene Hoskins

    Earth Renovation Construction
Marcus is a crook. I contracted with Earth Renovation build a covered patio for $49,330 back in November, 2014. He completed the project in about 4 months. A couple of months later, his sub-contractor shows up at my home trying to extort $2K from me by saying that he did all the work but never pull any permits. Marcus assured me that everything was done per code and then a few weeks later, code enforcement came by and investigate my brand new patio. So, Marcus pull permits and once he realizes that the correct what was already build to what was now approve will cost him about another $7500 which he ask me to provide. I refused and he stop working after tearing the roof off my patio. I filed a complaint with State Contractors Board and thru medication, he came back to work on the patio. He would send his guys out to work on my project for 1-2 hr per month. It has been over 18 months now and my patio is not done and he stop coming out and took all the permits and drawings with him. Will not respond to any of my communication with him. I was force to file another complaint with the State Contractors Board.

They were challenged with Picking up where one Contractor left off. They were professional, courteous, neat and very professional. They were on the job site nearly everyday and worked continuously until they were complete. We could not have asked for a better experience.

    West Hills Masonry
West Hills Masonry did a great job with our patio, driveway, walkways and RV pad. They were very thorough, answered all of our questions and explained everything up front. There were no surprises that can be typical of home improvement projects. The on site team was friendly and thorough and cleaned up after themselves every day. I would hire them again if I ever had another masonry need!! They're awesome!!

Ozzie was easy to work with, listened to our requests, offered suggestions, and designed accordingly. He was open to alterations as we saw a need, also. The first thing we realized was that Ozzie has a wealth of experience and can see the foundational needs of a project from the most basic component. This ability to see the whole project from the beginning to the end gave us a firm belief that there would be no surprises later on. In the end, we were extremely pleased with the result.

Val is the owner of the company. First proposal price was good. But Val came back with the final proposal as about 20% more. We hope they will do a very good job and on time. Unfortunately, it was not. Val did not order the stone at the time he told us. It delayed for one week. Val did not communicate well with his crew about the GFI outlet on the ground professionally. Otherwise, we can move to different location base on the electrical technician. On top of that Val tried to avoid responsibility to fix the GFI, but we talked to make him pay 25% of the new GFI replacement. Also, he made us pay for an extra stone, which should be on his own estimate cost that he gave us in the contract. His crew did not perform a good job on laying drain pips system on the ground. We sent him pictures of drain system that did not work after the rain. Val avoided responsible again. we had to fix the drain system by our own. He is pretty much a nickel and dimed kind of person. His golden word is "it is not in the scope of work" We will not definitely recommend.

His crew showed up when they said they would. they did a great job and cleaned up when they were done.
It took 3 days. One to tear out the old concrete. One to put in footings and replace patio support posts and one to pour and finish the new concrete.
Val Mataele and his crew were great to work with.
