    Tony was fantastic. This was the first time I've used Rooterman. I phoned 4 plumbers on Friday, including some who've I've used before. No of them returned messages or picked up. Called Tony on a Saturday morning b/c he has emergency repair listed on his profile, and he was the only one who actually answered his phone! Said he could be at the house in an hour, and was there in 40 minutes. Did a great job soldering a 90 degree copper transition (~12inch x 12inch) that connected the threaded PVC transition coming from the street to the pressure reduction valve on the house inlet. No leaks and the job was done quickly and professionally. He even fixed an irrigation pipe that I had to cut out to jackhammer the concrete around the copper supply line (the rocket scientists who built my house poured concrete around the supply line coming from the street). He's now my #1 go to guy for both my rental property and home.

    It was extensive plumbing job and involved replacing fixtures and plumbing that were over 30 years old. They did it in one day and I have not had any problems. They were very professional. I have used them previously on other smaller jobs and have always been pleased with their work.

    Budget Plumbing & Drain Cleaning
    Not great- called Sunday and dispatcher said plumber was on a job and she could not schedule me for Monday ( when I needed it ) but could do it probably Wed. She said as soon as he was done she would discuss with him and confirm time and price.She said she would call me back in the next hour or two.Well I never heard back from her Sunday.
    Finally Monday she did call back around 10 am saying that she had not been able to get hold of the plumber till then.
    Over committed and undelivered- so I passed.

    Three hour visit. They installed the hoses backwards and overcharged me. I tried to get a refund and was dealt with in an extremely unprofessional manner. They were impossible to get ahold of. The were very rude and reluctant to work with me at all. It took four months to finally get ahold of someone who could help. When they were at my house they pressured me heavily to get a whole house water filtration system that would be over $5000 dollars. During the three hour visit he spent two hours in his truck. They were very abusive on the telephone.

    They asked me for $499.00 up front and said they would adjust the amount after the work was finished and refund me if needed. The man came to my house with a faucet that was in an open box and installed in in 25 minutes. When he left, he took the box from the faucet so I had no information for the warranty. Once he was gone, I ran my dishwasher for the first time since I started having the problem. When I opened it, I realized that he had forgotten to turn the water to the dishwasher back on. The faucet he put on seemed to be one that had been on clearance from Home Depot for about 40.00. They overcharged me for the labor and lied to me about the product.

    First met Bruce Witt, owner of A.S.A.P. Plumbing, when referred by my home warranty company. He installed a new water heater. All seemed well until the device that lights the pilot proved defective. The pilot finally had to be lighted the old fashioned way: with a match. He said he would take care of it. Later when I called him about installing three new toilets I had purchased, I mentioned the defective part and his suggestion was for me to call the water heater manufacturer and order a new part. That didn't set well with me since I felt he was responsible for completing the job he had started. I have since received that part from the manufacturer and called Bruce. He has yet to respond. Regarding the toilet installations: All was well until we tried one of the three toilets he had installed and water overran the tank onto the floor and the valve wouldn't shut off. I made an attempt to repair it myself since it was the master bedroom toilet and the master bedroom is on the top floor of a three-story townhouse. I called Bruce to explain what had happened. He replied that the had flushed the toilet four or five times and it had operated without fail. I told him that I had made an attempt to repair the problem myself and it seemed to be working. However, later the same thing happened again. Rather than call Bruce again and perhaps be without a toilet for days, I disassembled the water inlet supply in the tank and discovered that a sleeve that held two parts of the water supply valve was not in place. I replaced the sleeve and the toilet has been operating without trouble since. In my estimation, Bruce gets an "F" for failure to follow up on his work.

    I think they way over charged for the amount of work that was done. I knew it would be expensive, but they charged me for the time they went to get the parts. The work done was good.
