    US Bank - Ferndale
They know your name when you walk in, and they'll repeat your name a couple of times in the conversation.  They always wear name badges, because I'm not good at remembering names so they have a name badge so I can say their name too.  Also, they give my dog a treat even when he's waiting in the car.  They also remember my dog's size because he's very tiny, and they give him a little treat.  My sister has a bigger dog, and they'll have a big treat that they give out.  In addition, their pricing is competitive.

Doug Davis - American Pacific Mortgage
ok so far I have gone through two home loans with Doug well refinance really but any more one doesn't seem any different then the other. they both take a ridiculous amount of time, paper work, faxing, emailing and blah blah blah. well the good thing is Doug makes a lot of this simplified and straight forward with his work ethic and working style. from the beginning you get all the information you need and a detailed list of everything he will need . after getting all the options sorted out and choosing what I wanted to do with my finances the whole process was fairly easy going. I was always kept up to date on what was going on or what step we were in through out the refinance. I truly have no complaints against Doug which is rare in this world for something to go so well. now the banks on the other hand and what they want from you well that's another story. thanks Doug for everything you have done for me and my family.

I am out of their service area. I don't use the banking services often. They have absolutely perfect service. The communication is great. They are responsive to any problems. They act very quickly. They have accurate monthly banking statements. When my credit card was stolen, they immediately took action. They stopped all transactions on that card number. They sent me a replacement card. I couldn't have asked for any better service.

They are more for the military but they accept everybody. I get a better service with them. Their percentage rates are a lot cheaper than the bank. They are very punctual and very courteous. They are like family too and I'll never give it up. They are good.

I like that they are conveniently close from where I live.  They are pretty friendly.  I will continue to use them in the future.

We approached our bank to get a loan so that one partner could buy out the interests of the other 2.  It was September of 2012, and we told them we'd like to close by the 31st of December for tax purposes.  They told us the original amount we requested was "over the SBA limit" so we worked out a down payment that would reduce the loan amount to be under the limit. October 16th, 2012:  They told us they couldn't do the loan because our ratio of available cash/debt service was too low, but they ineptly miscalculated it!  When we pointed out the error, they said they couldn't do the deal because of "tax return inconsistency"! November 15th, 2012:  They told us that besides all the information we provided, that they would also require CPA reviewed financials and an independent business valuation - that cost us $7,900 and took about 6 weeks, but we did it in an effort to get the deal done.  They said that would complete the package that the loan committee required. December 28th, 2012:  After we submitted the CPA reviewed financials and business valuation (both of which supported all our projections and ratios), they asked us for: 1.    Articles of Organization & Operating Agreement . 2.    Purchase Agreement. 3.    Lease agreements for both locations. 4.    Contact information for your insurance carrier. 5.    Business License. 6.    List of fixed assets. (If any of the fixed assets are worth more than $5,000, please provide the make, model, and serial number). Why couldn't this have been requested 6 weeks ago? January 4th, 2013:  They told us they'd be submitting the package to the loan committee when they met on the 16th, and we could expect a decision after that. January 11th, 2013:  They said that since the SBA in guaranteeing the loan, the loan committee wouldn't be reviewing it! February 5th, 2013:  They informed us that they would need:   1.  Copy of signed lease. 2.   Landlord?s Consent (attached). 3.   Updated purchase agreement. 4.   Copy of your life insurance policy. When all was finally said & done, the loan was funded - FOR THE WRONG AMOUNT!  They wrote the loan for the original amount we requested that was deemed to be over the SBA limit!  They never mentioned that they wouldn't be able to meet the December 31st deadline.   We wrote a letter to the bank president explaining how disappointed we were with their service, but they chose not to respond.
