Boarding reviews in Whittier

  • The staff made us welcome. During our trip home I called to see if we could pick her up a day early, and that was no problem. They mentioned she had bitten one of the employees, but it wasn't a big deal. They had her all bathed and trimmed when we got there. I felt like the boarding fees and the grooming fees were a good bargain.

  • Everytime I take my yorky to this vet, I always get an excessive qoute for something that is beyond her annual shots. I took her in this past weekend to get her annual shots and I mentioned that we noticed her vomiting once and shaking. That translated into a exam package worth $400. In addition, one of her baby teeth did not fall out so they recommended that they be taken it out (she's 2 years old). A year ago, they recommended $800 worth of work because she had several baby teeth that had not fallen out. I left without her annual shots because she needs to have $400 of exams done before shots. The visit cost me $53.64 just for them to tell me that. The staff is nice and caring. The pricing and ability to sell more than you need is not worth the visit.

  • Everything has been satisfactory so I have no complaints as my dog has never come back with bites or sicknesses and comes back pretty good. The only thing is that they cannot take him for a big walk because they are not a really big place so I don't think I would leave him longer than a week. We have gone to others before who have a bigger place but comparing prices from others to their prices is almost cut in half. Others are $35 to $40 a night and the boarding care here would be $16 a night. It depends on the size of the dog too and it is really nice because I can bring in my own food or they will feed him what they have for no extra charge.

  • All the time I was growing up, we used that same animal hospital at a different ownership. It has always been good and reliable. I think the vet we go to is probably one of the best vets here in California. He is totally dedicated and every veterinarian there is top notch. I wouldn't not go to any of them. They have full time vets, full time hours, weekend hours and everything. They are really good and they can do everything. If they don't do it then they will refer you to the specialist. They are very fair, you wouldn't have to wait and they are very professional. I never ever had a bad experience with them. My only complaint now is they're very far away and my cats are very old so they hate the car ride and there are vets that are closer, but, I think I will use them anyway.

  • MISSION KENNELS IS A SAFE, FUN AND GREAT PLACE TO OUR DOG. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, RELIABLE AND IT IS VERY EVIDENT THAT WHEN THE DOGS ARE LODGING, THEY GET A LOT OF LOVE. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE OUR DOG AND WE RECOMMEND IT TO ALL OF OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

  • OVERALL THE EXPERIENCE WAS WONDERFUL. I WOULD BOARD MY DOGS THERE AGAIN. THEY TREAT THE DOGS LIKE THEIR OWN. THE KENNELS WERE VERY CLEAN AND VERY WELL MAINTAINED.
