ACALIFORNIA CUSTOM LANDSCAPEI received a few quotes from other contractors and they were actually a little lower than California Custom Landscape. But after our initial meeting with Henry it was obvious he had a lot of knowledge and experience so I was extremely comfortable and confident we would love our new yard. He understood my vision but was honest as to why some of my ideas wouldn’t work with our yard and provided his own suggestions. Most people think that contractors would only make recommendations to increase the cost, but he sees each project as if it were his own home and provides his straightforward opinion as to what really looks best and makes sense. Henry actually may have saved me money. During the construction process, he constantly kept me informed as to what the next steps were and was always available to answer any questions I had day or night. I was impressed at how quickly his team worked and they always made sure to clean up each day. Needless to say I am extremely happy with the outcome and HIGHLY recommend California Custom Landscape.- G. H.

ASeth Pompey LandscapingOverall the project was fantastic, and Seth was great to work with. From taking the concept my wife had, Seth drew up a plan with everything she asked for, and we were able to scale back where needed for budgeting purposes, so he helped us rework from the original design to where we ultimately landed. Timing - he began on time, and finished early. Project lasted a total of 5 weeks. Budget - he was spot on to the original budget. We did make changes to some items, and he kept a running change list that was helpful to keep us on track. Team - The guys were amazing, and took exceptional pride in their work. I got to chat them up quite a bit, and they’ve been with Seth for many years - which was an awesome sign, because I’m guessing you don’t stay of things aren’t going well. They were here everyday from 7-3:30, and the few times that they weren’t, we had a heads up. We even got a heads up when it wouldn’t be the full crew. Communication - pretty sharp, zero complaints here. We knew what was going on, when it was happening, and Seth was here almost everyday for at least a period of time. Overall, they were great - and we will use them again for our front yard, hopefully sooner rather than later.- craig b.

ARoyal Turf Landscape and HardscapeThese guys made me a paver walkway in on the side of my house that looks amazing!! They also made me a concrete slab for my new gazebo and it looks great!! FNot good He changed saying he was hired to only do the lawn and blow leaves and has to charge extra for other things like trim bushes and palms and then he told me his guys cleaned out weeds which they did not he even argued he had pics to prove but he never did nor showed me the pics on weeds he claimed he removed.

AWonderful job! Jose and his team did a really great job cleaning up my garden and yard after I had not had weekly maintenance done in a little while and my yard/garden had overgrown a bit. His team worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. Everything looks really tidy and nice, they were also great at listening to any special requests that I had. I will definitely keep them in mind for future maintenance and also recommend them to friends and family!

AI had seven tree service companies give me proposals to remove my giant 35 year old Brazilian Pepper Tree. The tree was located very close to a block wall which I did not want damaged. Also there were cable wires above close to the tree which was a concern. The roots were massive and growing everywhere. I spoke with Esteban Vargas who assured me they could handle this without damaging any property. What impressed me was he actually listened to what I wanted done instead of interrupting me and telling me what he would do. The tree roots were a major problem and needed to be removed. I have plans to put other trees in that area of my yard. He guaranteed me that they could handle the job. The crew of four men each worked 8 hours that day and did an amazing job. I was so impressed. They spent 3 1/2 hours grinding and removing roots after removing the tree. I was so pleased with this company and how they did everything that I asked them to do. Clean up was amazing.
