  • Move went well. The guys from Affordable Piano were late arriving (they give a two-hour window) and apologized. The downside of the appointment was I was given a middle time slot (12:30pm to 2:30 pm), combined with the tardiness, meant that the entire day was centered around this move. Allow ample time for this process. The gentlemen who provided this service were friendly and professional and took every precaution to assure no damage occurred.

  • Excellent. Shawn is a very nice salesman. He offerred us a good discount and free shipping. The sofa was great and very comfortable. There was a delay in shipping because I guess one of the section was damaged upon delivery to his warehouse. He offerred to install upon delivery but we decided to do it ourselves. Overall, a great furniture store. Highly recommended!

  • It was a terrible experience! First off, their customer service at the Huntington Beach branch was nonexistent. Second, we should've been suspicious when the sales rep told us that their A/C units have a no return policy. We purchased a 8000 BTU A/C unit for $300. Turned out it didn't blow out cool air at all, even after an hour. We tried to exchange it but was told that their no return policy was unconditional. The sales rep was "kind" enough to give me the GE dealer phone number saying that the unit was still under warranty and "GE will take care of it". Not the case. After being on the phone for nearly half an hour, the GE rep wouldn't send out a service tech to fix the unit until according to her we had to run the unit for at least FOUR hours to determine whether the unit was defective or not. In other words, if the unit has been running for at least four hours and no cold air is coming out then she will schedule a tech to come out and diagnose the problem. By this time I had already purchased several GE units from Sam's Club and knew that it only takes minutes upon powering up to know if cold air is coming out of the vents or not. However, no matter how hard I tried to explain the situation the GE rep kept on insisting that this particular model I purchased had to be running for four hours before things will cool. Absolutely absurd! Anyway, I'm now stuck with a lemon A/C unit that I can't even use as a foot stool. I am boycotting Howard's appliance and with the way those folks are running their business I don't think they care about us consumers at all. As for GE, they make good products in general but I was appalled and disappointed by their service/repair policy. My advice to anyone needing an A/C unit from GE go to Sam's Club, they have a hassel-free return policy. No questions asked. Good luck to you all.
