Wonderful experience. The company was outstanding from start to finish of the project. I especially like working with the Blythe, Ken and the installation crew. They toook customer service up an extra level. I would highly recommend them.

    The Hot Tub Store
They showed up earlier than their scheduled time, which was wonderful, got the job done quickly and cleaned up after themselves.  I felt very comfortable with both guys that showed up for the job.  They were pleasant and worked quickly.  I highly recommend this company if you need a hot tub moved.

We contacted 5 pool companies to provide us with a quote to tear out a fiberglass pool that was leaking badly and build a bigger pool in it's place. My husband and I were immediately impressed with Guy Davidson when we met him. He appeared honest and trustworthy. Other companies who provided quotes to us tried to convince us our pool equipment needed to be replaced (even though some of it was less than a year old) and Guy and his associate Doug never attempted to do that. We loved the plans Guy drew up for us and felt their prices were fair. Guy had excellent communication with us throughout the entire process. We always knew when someone would be coming to our home to do work and were kept up-to-date on everything going on with the pool process. The subcontractors Sun Fare uses were extremely professional. They cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful of our property. Guy and Doug went out of their way to make sure we were happy.
We made a few changes throughout the process and Guy never seemed annoyed with us for the changes we made or additions we added. The end process is an absolutely beautiful pool. We couldn't be happier with our pool. Last year we hired a landscaping company to re-do our entire yard and it was a nightmare dealing with them. We were very nervous going into building the pool based on our horrible experience with the landscaping contractor we used last year. We quickly found that we had nothing to be worried or nervous about. Sun Fare Pools was a pleasure to work with and I would work with them again and again. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to build a pool. I can't think of one negative thing to say about them.

Having a pool built can be a difficult and worrisome process; that is unless you go with Sun-Fare
Pools.  My wife and I checked out several pool building companies, both large and small, and we were just completely
blown away with the high level of customer service we received from Sun-Fare Pools compared to all the rest.  Their sales representative, Guy, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.  My wife and I had a ton of questions which Guy gave detailed and accurate answers to.   Guy went through the entire process of what to expect and detailed all aspects of the pool construction process.  After learning about their process for building pools (and independently verifying that their methods and materials actually go above and beyond the industry standards) we were shocked to see that they also had one of the best prices in town.  Many of the big name pool companies wanted to charge an arm and a leg for the same or lower quality construction and lower quality equipment.  Another huge factor was that most pool companies give a time frame of
actual construction to be six to eight weeks or even longer, but Sun-Fare has a guaranteed build time of only 30 days, which is practically unheard of.  My wife and I were skeptical of this time frame, wondering how they could build in almost half the time of other companies.  We discovered from friends and family who made the mistake of going with other companies that most of them take so long because they juggle dozens of jobs at once and have extremely long times between actual work being done on each pool.  They may have a crew out to begin digging one day, and then not show up for another two weeks to finish the dig.   However Sun-Fare has people working on your pool almost continuously with few days of down time in between construction phases.  They really treat you like a VIP and make you feel as though you are their most important job.
With doing exhaustive research both online and through friends and family, Sun-Fare Pools was a clear choice
for us.  Like any pool construction process, we did experience some issues; however most of them were out of Sun-Fares control.  We had a long delay with the building permits from the city, and were set behind nearly two weeks for beginning construction.  However, Sun-Fare recognized this issue and problems that the delay would cause us, so they went in to over-drive and actually finished our pool within 3 weeks!!!!!  (An unheard of construction time frame anywhere)  I do understand
that this was only partly possible because we were not having our pool built during the busy season, and that the city was willing to be more flexible than normal with inspection time-frames, but I still give much credit to the dedication of Sun-Fare to do whatever it takes to please their customers.  I would and do recommend Sun-Fare Pools to anyone who inquires about building a pool.  I tell them to be responsible and check with several companies to see what they offer, but guarantee that in the end Sun-Fare Pools will be the only clear choice.

    C & R Pool Plastering Inc
OK, so here are all of the details.
My wife and I purchased this home in West Sacramento a couple of years ago, knowing one major problem existed; the pool leaked! I'll leave out extraneous details outlining what we had gone through in the past two years in trying to figure out why it leaked and just how to fix the leak(s), but we learned a lot about pool companies and about their blatant dishonesty along the way! Long story short, American Leak Detection gave us the true facts about the problems and suggestions of how to fix them: eliminate the spa plumbing (old, cracked spa based off a propane heating system), eliminate the caretaker system (pool has two skimmers anyway), and fix/seal two cracks in the wall of the pool. They used major equipment and pressure testers to determine these results; not just a red dye test.
We had four different pool companies come out to bid the job; four of the top companies listed on this website. I don't remember all of the exact details of which was which on the quotes, but one was just too high, like 6 grand more expensive! Another was still much higher, pushing that the pool had to be stripped, an additional 2 grand or so, in order to to re-plaster it. The third, I won't openly slander their name online but it starts with a B, and ends in urketts, had a very nice salesman and we enjoyed having him over to our house and talking about the company, family, etc. We had actually decided on this company, but still had C&R scheduled to come out for a quote the next day, so we decided to just entertain the option.
Rick, the 'R' in C&R, came out to the house and spent a lot of time examining the pool. He explained to us that the pool could be plastered one time without stripping the old plaster; that our pool had never been re-plastered (a ten year plaster that was about 20 years old), thus the water leaking through spots in the wall of the pool, and was up front and honest, nickle for nickle about exactly what we were getting through the service he would provide. No sales pitch, just open and honest about the business his company provides.
Afterwords, I realized the 'pitch' from some of the other salesmen who came out. Furthermore, it donned on me that the discussion with the 'urketts' company that we were sold on, was mostly about family, hobbies, etc, and nothing about an itemized listing of what we were getting for their service. Concluding our decision, I further researched reviews on these companies and came across absolute horror stories; drained pools with worked stalled for months, wrong plasters being pored, workers never showing up, calls not being answered or returned, etc... Yet all of the reviews for C&R were just how I described them. Just another observation to add as well, all of the other 'salesmen' drove old beat up cars, suggesting they were still just trying to get a foot in with the business.
Start to finish, C&R was a pleasure to deal with. From scheduling with their secretary/service representative (I don't recall her name otherwise I'd reference her), to selecting our tile, to dealing with the subcontractors, this was a fantastic experience! As I mentioned, their were subcontractors (if I'm using that term correctly), and if I knew anything about the pool business, I would have selected these guys myself! Dave from Tile Right and his associates, fulfilled the role of wall and step tile, as well as remodeling the spa into t Caribbean shelf; fantastic company! Another Dave, his company name Plaster Doc, was amazing to deal with and was a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman. His role was to repair the cracks through the walls of the pool and into the gunite; a process that involved pressure injecting a very specific epoxy into specific locations within the cracks to repair and prevent future cracking and leaking. Again, an absolute pleasurable experience.
From the time we signed the contract, it was three weeks later when they came out to drain the pool. All of the dates had been arranged from their service representative and agreed upon. Six days later (four work days with a weekend in-between) our pool was filling back up with an absolutely beautiful result!! In fact, they had arranged to have our pool finished, filled, and swim-able by the time we had our sons first birth day party / my going away party for a deployment. Other than the latter, my family got great use out of the pool all summer long and it remains looking absolutely beautiful today! And you guessed it, no more leaks.
In closing, I would just like to say thank you to the whole C&R team!!!
