    Drury, Dr. Kevin J.
He was my doctor for 30 years, but now he's involved in a concierge program, where I would have to pay $1,800 a year to be seen by him. I only see him about twice a year, so that's kind of steep. I no longer see him. He's an excellent doctor and very knowledgeable. He had a strong connection with us. You could usually get in to see him pretty quickly, but oftentimes, you had to wait in his office for awhile. The office was extremely modest and in need of updating. He's been in the same office since I've been seeing him.

    Jeffrey A Klemes DPM
The doctor was friendly and down to earth. He took his time and explained my condition to me and answered all my questions. I was going to have this doctor do the surgery to correct the bunion. My only issue with that the office was that they accepted my insurance and supplemental as full payment for my office visit. But said that my insurance did not pay enough for the surgery and he would need to charge me an extra $150 co-pay for the surgery. After checking my insurance with other providers at the same hospital; they were willing to accept my insurance as payment in full and not charge me anything over and above what my insurance paid. If Dr Klemens were to have been consistent in accepting my insurance at his office and for the surgery at the same rate, I would  likely have already him do the surgery and be recommending him with no issues. I would return to him in the future, even have him perform my surgery if he were to accept my insurance for my surgery the at the same rate he accepted it for my office visit and treatment in his office.

    Jack, Dr. Gregory
He reviewed the CATscan from my emergency room visit to St. Johns and spent time talking to me about my choices in that moment. It was his strong opinion based on the CATscan and my symptoms that my stones were uric acid stones and I had a good chance of dissolving and passing the stones with the proper medication. He prescribed these to me and told me what to watch for that could mean a catastrophic problem. He gave me confidence and hope that all my pain would eventually be a thing of the past.

    Sanjay Khurana MD
Dr. Khurana was terrific. He did a thorough review of tests already done and performed a very thorough exam. He took time and explained all aspects of the condition and possible treatment options. He gave me information about research that has been done on the various treatment options and he was clearly extremely competent and knowledgeable. His bedside manner is great. Although he is a very busy doctor, he was very patient and he took the time to answer my many questions. Everyone in the office was very helpful and thoughtful and aware that the patients who come in are often in great pain and every effort was made to make me as comfortable as possible.

    Hirt, Dr. Michael
Waited over an hour for my appointment. Lots of unnecessary tests. Be prepared to spend thousands of dollars. Doctors prescribes and sells lots of supplements out of his office and everyone leaves with bags full of them. He is not attentive, and comes across as a money driven doctor.

    Mattimore, Dr. Thomas
Extremely well.  Dr. Mattimore has been my primary care physician for 20+ years. He always listens carefully, explains everything, and prescribes appropriate treatment.  He administered a shot of cortisone (it had been effective when administered in the past) and recommended physical therapy with necessary referral.

    Neal Handel MD
During my initial consult Dr. Handel and his lovely office staff were WONDERFUL about answering all of my questions and helping me to select  the size and type of implant that I wanted.  They spent a lot of time  with me and I greatly appreciate not being rushed through the process  (this is, after all, my boobs we are talking about!!)
On the day of surgery Dr. Handel came in and talked to me again ? walking me  through what was going on and making sure I was comfortable and had all of my questions answered.  The surgery went great, everything ran  smoothly, the nurses, techs and anesthesiologist were all friendly and efficient.  After the surgery was completed and I went home I was a little sick from the anesthesia.  One call to Dr. Handel?s efficient staff was all it took to get me a prescription that got rid of the nausea immediately.
All of my follow up visits were easy to schedule and I NEVER had to wait more than 5 minutes to see the doctor.  I loathe waiting in doctors? offices past my appointment time; it is one of my biggest pet peeves.  So it really means a lot to me that Dr. Handel and his staff have never wasted my time or made me wait.
Most important (of course) are the results.  My breasts look AMAZING.  Dr.  Handel tried two different implant sizes during surgery to see which one would get me the results I want.   The first was too big for my body  and so he ended up going with the smaller ones (before surgery I had  requested that the size fit my body).  He was able to envision and  create exactly what I wanted based on my descriptions to him.  The size, shape and nipple placement are PERFECT!  The incision is right in the  crease under my breasts.  Dr. Handel did such a careful job closing the  incision that I will barely have a scar.   Dr. Handel gave me my dream  breasts!! I highly recommend Dr. Handel to anyone who is considering having plastic surgery.

    Stein , Dr. Arthur
Dr. Arthur Stein has been my doctor forever. He's extremely thorough. His wife runs the office so you're dealing with a real "we know who you are" not like some random person who is upfront. They'll proactively cal you if haven't gotten your flu shots or if you're supposed to come back in and you don't sit around there forever. He is extremely friendly, extremely interested and easy to talk to.

    Schneider, Dr Jessica
She has a new office now in Cedars-Sinai complex.  She's amazing and I love her. She is wonderful.  She's young but not too young. She's in her 40's and she understands my issues.  She's very open to alternative medicines and she doesn't believe in doing a lot of C-sections or anesthetics or a lot of stuff like that so she was very open to letting me come with my own birth plan. That's what I really love about her.  She let me call the shots as a patient and she worked really well with doulas. She was as available as she could be.  Her bedside manner and communication are excellent.  She gave me her cell phone number and it was like having a friend.  The effectiveness of treatment and billing and administration is very good. I would definitely use her again.

    Peak Health Medical Group Inc
Overall it went okay.  The doctor  was honest and quick.  I only saw her once, on the first visit.  On subsequent visits the practitioner aid was nicer.  I may ask my HMO  for a new place to go come the beginning of the year.
